This book wasn't too bad; I enjoyed the setting & the flow of events. I think I would have appreciated the story a lot more if it hadn't felt 'so' perfect; a lot of things fell into place a little too easily for me & I just couldn't seem to get past that. Personally, I wasn't the biggest fan of it, but I could definitely see someone whos interests lie around the religious genre or christianity novels getting into this book.
This was a great read. It was fast paced and I enjoyed the scientific details and archeological descriptions. The Christian message and scriptural references were spot on.
As like all early 90's books in Christian fiction "Eden's Gate" is a classic read. Interesting story line and current issues at that time. I wouldn't have said it's the next "Piercing The Darkness" but it'll do.
I quite liked this story, despite its... far-fetchedness. A bit of "in-your-face" Christianity, but in an honest way - not a contrived preachy sickening sort of way. Not a bad read, but not a must-read either.
