This review may contain unintentional spoilers from the first book.
Nicole finds herself in a totally different time and now needs to figure out a way to not only get home but figure out what is happening to her. With the first part I was a little confused about certain things but it is all becoming a lot clearer now. Nicole still can’t understand why she had such a strong pull with her professor Cooper but now she is having a hard time understanding her pull with a boy named Jax. Nicole is finding herself completely falling for him but she need to find a way to get back to 2002 but how can she when she doesn’t want to leave Jax. I really enjoyed Nicole’s relationship with Jax and his sister. I loved the blossoming romance between the two and when the story started becoming more clear you realize that things might be getting a lot more complicated.
This story is very complex but not a bad complex it just has a lot of awesome twists and just when you try to make sense of it things get twisted about again. I am loving how this story is playing out and I can’t wait for the next one because i need to know how this ends. Like the first one this ends with a goosebump giving cliffhanger. One things L.G. Castillo can write is a very good cliffhanger. I can’t wait to find out what happens…I suggest reading this in one sitting you wont be disappointed. Mrs. Castillo can write a fantastic story with some amazing characters. I highly recommend this series and it’s not even over yet!

I couldn't wait to read this second book I just had to find out what was going to happen with Nicole, but this book just like the first left me completely breathless and wanting more as soon as possible. It's strangely intoxicatingly and invigorating you can't seem to get enough the story line is exceptionally beautiful. Nicole has somehow traveled back in time and is confronted with the beautiful stranger who inhabited her dreams when she lived in the future(2002) now that she is in the past (1984) she has to fight to help him overcome the difficult life he leads with his family. Nicole is completely dumbfounded and can't grasp why she has such a pull towards Jax but she doesn't want to let him know about her true self and the fact that she has traveled back in time. So many unexplained circumstances take place, hurtful situations and heartbreaking instances, will Nicole and Jax survive their past in order to have a future? I need book three now please. I am enamored with this story I can't wait to continue reading.
Omg finally i get to read the next book and all i feel is saaad. It was such a soft and gentle book. Every page i turned i was getting mushier and mushier. So obviously I love time travel romance and so yes maybe Im biased so what I enjoyed it a lot. This is terrible all I kept wanting was for Nicole to return back to 2002. Sheesssh but yes I mean i dont know why but I have this thing for Hardened out men and my dear Cooper needs all the help he can get now. Soo yess glad shes back . Now lets get some Cooper nicole scenes.
This book was a really new time travel concept one so im glad for a refreshing read.
I wasn't too crazy about Nicole's character and the cover image of her only reinforced that. The girl on the cover was IMO bleh. The continuation of the story did the same. It's odd how you can read so far along, entirely from her point of view, and yet you end up knowing very little about what made her special. Her personality was entirely ordinary. We get that she's smart, because she supposedly excelled at chemistry, but we don't know anything else as far as her school work, her aspirations, nothing. She didn't get along with her parents who mostly put their career over her. Ok but that still doesn't tell us a whole lot about her. She was nice and sympathetic -- ok that makes her kind of a Mary Sue. I have no idea why Jax fell so hard over her. For a story that sets a premise about universe defying pull of attraction, I feel like it could've used a heroine who was not so lacking in depth or personality. I think it would've worked better if she was someone equally extraordinary as Jax, as opposed to being "normal".
In contrast, the author continued to do a great job developing the main male character. You can really see the younger, more inexperience and tender person Jax, who was very unlike the older, more mature Cooper. His backstory was not particularly original, but handled well and very touching. The cover image also well chosen.
The sex scene was very very well done. Subtle and romantic and emotional.
Stylistic wise, eyes of various shades of blue/purple (and sometimes other colors) continued to perform all sorts of actions; they dance, they flip, they drift.[e.g. "Wild eyes turned to me.", "Light brown eyes watched my fingers..."] Not just eyes -- the constant use of overly colorful words to describe what characters were doing made it very distracting for me to read. ("When my hand flew up to wipe the chocolate...") I don't think I can read another story by this author if characters are always this animated. The writing would be easier to digest if the author doesn't try so hard to show vs tell. There comes a point where it makes the entire cast come off like they're in a circus.
I don't know about the imagery of "Even in your darkest hour, I'll be by your side." Probably it's just me, but every time that phrase came up, it reminded me of Frodo in Lothlorien: "May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out". Suddenly I was seeing Jax and thinking of a hobbit. So for me, that idea was not so effective because it came too close to one that had been used in a story as iconic as LOTR.
I was on the fence about buying the third book but wanted to find out what happened to Jax so went for it.
I had high expectations for Your Gravity-Part two by L.G. Castillo. Your Gravity-Part One was a great intro to Nicole and Professor Cooper’s story, but in this second part I got most of the answers to my questions. L.G. Castillo wrote an extremely intriguing second part and I finished reading it in a flash!
If you have not read Your Gravity-Part one, the rest of my review will contain some spoilers. If you have read the blurb of this second part, you can guess how the first book ended. That was the ‘’Boom’’ effect for me so I highly recommend that you read the first part. Nicole wakes up in a different decade in this book. In 1984 to be more specific. She is lost and confused and she has to pinch herself multiple times to make sure she is indeed in 1984 and not in 2002. When she meets Jax Reynolds, her world is once again turned upside down. Since meeting him, her nightmares have stopped and she finally feels like she belongs somewhere. As days go by, their connection grows and sparks fly. Nicole is torn between wanting to go back to the future and staying in the past. Will she make the right decision?
This second part was an exciting reading journey! I got to know Nicole’s character much more and I fell in love with Jax and his little sister. L.G. Castillo always creates lovable characters that you cheer for from beginning to end! Nicole and Jax’s chemistry gave me butterflies This was a sweet love story with emotional moments. Both these characters have hard decisions to make and it broke my heart to live does difficult moments with them. I don’t want to give any more details about this book because you NEED to read it! Another cliffhanger rocked my world!!! I can't wait to see what happens next!
I give Your Gravity-Part Two, by L.G. Castillo, 4.5 exciting, sweet, page-turning, fascinating stars !
This part of the story is about Nicole and Jax in the past. It is set in 1984 and Nicole has no idea how she went back in time or how to get back. Once she starts to settle in though and meets Jax, she is not sure that she wants to go back at all. She has to try and figure out where she is meant to be, which is truly meant to be her future. It is a little funny watching Nicole try and adjust at first because everything is so different and trying to not make a mistake and share a lot about things in the future without even meaning to. Jax and his little sister Caroline are great characters and they are what make everything worthwhile for Nicole. At first Nicole tries to stay away from a relationship with Jax but that doesn't last for long and he makes her very very happy. This story is not explicit. There's no sex but there is a lot more kissing this time. This focuses more on the emotional and the connection between Jax and Nicole. It is written well and draws you into the story. You definitely want to know what happens next. It is a short story and a quick read but it leaves you hanging like the first one. This is the second part and it is not a standalone story. In order to fully understand what is going on and the complications that can arise you need to read the first part. I definitely want to know how this story ends so need to get part 3 now.
I suggest that you read Your Gravity 1 by L.G. Castillo before reading this book as these books are an interconnected series so you should read the previous one to understand the next ones. In Your Gravity 2 Nicole finds herself transported to the year 1984 from 2002. She needs to find a way home. She meets various people here who she knows from 2002. She also meets Jax Reynolds(her professor in 2002) who introduces himself as Cooper to her in 1984. Cooper and Nicole become very important for each other and fall in love. I loved Cooper's sister Caroline in this book and how both Cooper and Nicole were with her. Nicole visits a psychic in order to get some answers about her time travel and is left with a cryptic choice - to decide whether to stay or go back to where she came from. She decides to stay but the universe apparently has other plans and she is apparently transported back towards the end of the book. Cant wait to see how everything gets resolved in the next book. I enjoyed this book as we got an insight into their relationship. Definitely a must read !!!
I was so happy to find out I didn't have to wait very long to get this book after reading book 1, but now I'm back in the same predicament, I'm left hanging after book 2 and waiting on book 3!!! I was blown away by the first book, now I'm trying to find the words to describe how I feel about book 2! Well book 2 really adds to the story line and we learn so many new things about alot of the characters in the story. It really adds to the things that we learned in the first book. There is so much more to the story than I dreamed! Everything that I had running through my mind after finishing book 1 are all changed now that I have read book 2. Ms. Castillo sure put a twist in the story line that I hadn't thought of and now my mind is scrambling to try to come up with what the conclusion is going to be like in book 3. I am certainly hoping that the wait for book 3 isn't very long because I need to know what is going to happen. Great job Ms. Castillo and I look forward to the next one!
Nicole Ashford went to sleep in 2002 and woke in 1984. Nicole can't believe she traveled back in time but there she is. One thing Nicole noticed is that her strange dreams have disappeared. She still finds herself in the same town with notable differences Jitters is now Magic. She's still attending college. A handsome stranger sits beside her in chemistry class introducing himself as Jax Reynolds. Nicole is asked by Jax for her help in chemistry. Strange events and happenings keep Nicole on her toes leaving her surprised to say the least. Can Nicole explain her attraction to Jax? Who does Jax remind Nicole of? Find out in Your Gravity Part 2.
I really enjoy this short story. The characters and story suckered me in from first page to last page leaving me hungry for more of this story. What would I do personally if I traveled back in time? Honestly I'm not sure what I'd do other than find myself hopelessly lost and confused. I look forward to more in this series.
The End…as I mentioned before this cliffhanger is wicked. Im still reeling from it and I don’t see these feelings subsiding any time soon! Get ready for a shocker!! DO NOT let that stop you from picking these up. Seriously highly addictive and worth ever penny and word! This is a read thats sure to linger long after the book has closed. I can’t wait to find out if Nicole gets her happy ending and how everything is connected!! Eeeeeep!
My Rating 5.0 because I cant help myself this was bloody brilliant cant wont and don't want to put this down…holy moly when does the next come out????? I need the next in the series in my life stat or i’m going to die love filled stars!
I really don't know how to write this review and not give any spoiler. It's all so surreal... Strange and beautiful at the same time.
How to explain the animosity of a teacher by his student, who should never have met before, but who somehow know each other more than anyone else? Nicole has to face an old story. She learned, she supported, she was taken away; and now she will have to pay for the consequences of something she didn't have control. And the others think she abandoned them when they needed it most.
This is a transition book. Read the #1. Sighs, dream and cheer up for this story beyond imagination...
I'm definitely loving to read it. It caught me getting happy, worried, sad, in love. I cannot wait for the last part.
After finishing the first book, I decided that I wanted to read the second book. I ended up finishing this book series in a week because it was well written, and very persuasive. I loved the connection between Jax and Nicole, I couldn't get enough of how close they were and I had to remind myself that they are fictional characters. The friendship between Nicole and Greg is very beautiful! The only downside to this book series is that it had to end at some point. I would recommend this book to read!
Part 2- Nicole mysteriously went back in the 80's.1984 to be exact. There she experienced the time in the 80's.No internet and whatsoever. There she met Charlie-supposed to be her roommate. A handsome young man name Jax and his sister Caroline.Things went smoothly and sweet between Nicole and Jax.Both of them slowly fell in love with each other and Nicole detemined to find why she travel back to 1984.then something did happen unexpectedly.-Conclusion book 3 next!
