Shungiku Nakamura's distinct style of manga has been identified largely throughout Japanese and English yaoi fanbases. Her works usually include large age gaps between the seme and uke and characters with careers in the publishing industry (as depicted in Junjo Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi). She often cowrites with Fujisaki Miyako, who authored the novels of Yoshino Chiaki no baai in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi.

I love it, of the best stories I read eh

More like 3 1/2 stars.
This is the first time I've rated any volume from this series below 4 stars and in all honestly it may not really be a fair rating. See, I'm reading these volumes online (since it isn't available in English) and am therefore relying on other people to translate the text for me. The translations I've read for this volume were really hard to understand and this is bad because there were two very important conversations that took place (one between Misaki and Akihiko's father and one between Misaki and Isaka) that were hard to follow. I got the gist of everything but not being able to fully understand made it feel more like I skimmed through the story rather than really read it. It left me feeling completely unsatisfied. Oh well, back to the story itself...

In volume 18 Misaki decided that he wanted to continue living with Akihiko, the only problem being his brother and, to a lesser extent, Akihiko's father. He hadn't really thought about how he would address those obstacles other than figuring he needed to, at the very least, secure a job. Now, as far as Akihiko was concerned the only hurdle they faced was the disapproval of Takahiro. He didn't care what his father thought because they were not close and he didn't have any connection to the family business. Misaki, however, never felt comfortable being in a relationship with Akihiko against Fuyuhiko's wishes.
When pressed about what he plans to do by both Fuyuhiko and Isaka, Misaki basically came to the conclusion that he needed to pay his brother back for the money he spent on his college tuition and allowance then move in by himself to prove that he is a full fledged adult. Only then would he feel confident enough to talk to Takahiro about his relationship with Akihiko. As for Fuyuhiko, Misaki asked him flat out what he needed to do to get his approval to which Fuyuhiko told him to figure it out himself.
Akihiko overheard Misaki's conversation with Isaka and became upset because he felt like he was left out of the decision making process. Above all he didn't want Misaki to move out and begged him not to leave him behind. Misaki agrees but still understands that much work will be needed before things get better (whatever that means...).
Aside from the main story, this volume contained 4 short stories featuring each of the Junjo Romantica couples. They were all cute but my favorite one was the one featuring Isaka and Asahina.
I felt disappointed reading this volume but looking over the next volume the translations don't seem as bad. This makes me feel a lot better; after all, this is one of my favorite series. I hope my favorite couple gets the happy ending they deserve.

Misaki está a punto de graduarse y tiene que tomar una decisión importante sobre su relación con Usagi...lo malo es que hay muchos involucrados y aunque sabe que tiene que hacer quizás no sea tan fácil el camino que tomará.
