Our heroine is one of the villains in previous books and clubwhore.
Her participation in the planning and execution of attacks on Emily were decisive. She was an addict and she took advantage of her relationship with the members of the Club to gain access to privileged information.
She sees the possibility of redemption by saving the daughter of one of the members of the Club.
It is painful to follow the trajectory of guilt and her attempt to be accepted by the people she hurt so much.
Our hero is tormented between lust and love.
He even forgets that he has a girlfriend and has sex with Holli in the kitchen. Then he brings his girlfriend to his house and is keen to be seen and heard by Holli.
The villain is back seeking revenge and the alleged badasses are deceived again and the villain ends up taking Holli and the child again.
A TRUE motorcycle club (I was curious about the Club members) saves the day and Holli achieves redemption in the eyes of all.
I confess that I was blown away with the revelation that the girl was not biological daughter of Cowboy. Proved that his mind is completely fucked up when he moved in with a clubwhore addict for a child that wasn't his. I was aghast (previous book).
In the end the story hold my attention until the end.
I'm going to read the next book.

"storm off, leaving her standing naked and alone in my kitchen. I hadn’t even taken the time to put on a condom."

"I haven’t used a condom once.”"

"Cowboy kicks off the wall and moves to stand at my left. “Well …Caden is Dalton’s and I’ve known since she was four days old.” I shake my head and step back from the table. “Hold the fuck up and say that again.”"

AMAZING

This book is the third in the series. And they just keep getting better. A roller coaster of emotions!! I yelled out loud, cried, laughed & smiled. Brook can pull the rug right out from under you. This so far is my favorite; but then again Roman is all mine!

This is an amazing read and anyone who reads it will not be disappointed.

The story of Roman & Hollis is epic. There is so much history between these two. It is a powerful story with twists and turns that will leave you speechless.

In this third installment you will learn more of what happened with Megan and Cowboy. Also what Hollis does to save the gang. Will Hollis and Roman ever be able to get over the past and more forward and will the truth about the past make you understand what transpired with Everyone in the past. Will Hollis and Roman be able to finally have their HEA or will it all blowup in smoke. This was another great book couldn't wait to get back to reading it I between work.

OMG! Brook went and done it again. I couldn't put this one down. It was so involved with this book that I was having a hard time decided if I could forgive Hollis for what she did. I felt like I was part of the group. And the twist and turns that are in this book. OMG! I can not wait for the next one. Thanks Brook!

Beautiful Emotional

This is a beautiful, but often gritty, story of redemption and real love. Hollis needed true forgiveness. She sacrifi e's for it. She earned it. I hated how much everyone doubted her. Over and over again. Roman finally came thro ugh. He didn't want to love Hollis but he just couldn't help it. I loved the emotional turmoil and heartache. This was a super great story. I can't wait for the next book.

Hold on to your emotions and be prepared for hell! Roman I’ve loved since book one. He wanted Avery but let her go and just sleeps around ... sad but true, but there was a time he was in love but she betrayed not only him, but everyone! I was surprised when I saw it was him and Hollis and not someone random. I didn’t like Hollis much at first but she redefine herself, the best way she knew how. Very good addition and I was hooked! You can’t help but love these two, once you get both sides.

Roman is a man who lost the "Love of his Life" due to circumstances he couldn't control. And Roman controls everything! He is the 'level headed' VP of the Knights of Mayhem MC. He proudly served his country with his 'brothers' as a member of the armed forces. He continues to do so as an undercover DEA Agent tasked with ridding the town of drugs & those selling drugs. He has resolved himself to never love or be loved. He won't have the woman of his dreams, or have her bare his children, like he sees his 'brothers' experiencing.
Hollis is a woman who has had to endure more in her life then most can begin to imagine. Growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, she was always looked upon as trash, even by those who weren't out right rude to her.. She began partying to dull the pain & loneliness. Until eventually she was a strung out junkie doing whatever she needed to do to get her next fix. And her drug dealer Markus preyed on her weakness, getting her to do the unthinkable. Unfortunately for Markus, the result of this act forced Hollis into sobriety & protecting an innocent.
Things get out of hand, as they so often do in a good story. Hollis finds herself stuck between a rock & a hard spot. Her only option is to ask Roman a man whom she knows HATES her and risk him refusing to help her or wait for Markus to return & kill her in the most painful of ways. She's seen him torture & kill before. He made sure she watched so she knew he controlled her, then he'd make her clean up the mess.
Roman knows Hollis is undeserving of his help, not after what she did to his MC Family. But he's never been able to deny her anything. He struggles with how his 'brothers' will see this as an act of betrayal vs. doing what he knows in his heart is the right thing to do.
Slowly, Roman drops the walls he built around his harden heart and lets Hollis in. He begins to imagine a future with her. Seeing all of the things he never thought were in the cards for him.
Hollis never stopped living her 'Hero' from High School. But that was a long time ago and a lot has happened. She can see Roman letting her in. She can feel he cares deeply for her. This guts her to the core, for she knows he'll NEVER forgive her for what she knows she NEEDS to do. It is the only way she can ensure safety for those she cares about.
The range of emotions and turmoil the author makes you as the reader physically experience is a testament to her writing skills. The question is "Is Love Enough to Forgive?"

Another great read!

From the Ashes is the continuing story in the Knights of Mayhem series and is book number three. Each story is unique in it's own. Lots of emotions. Great balance of drama, action, romance, and suspense. Loved every plot twist and at one point could of thrown my kindle across the room, meaning it was great and surprised me again. Roman has been one of my favorite characters since the beginning, he just oozes sex appeal, but in parts of this storyline I could of strangled him and in others my heart broke for him. Hollis has always been the woman I loved to hate but she has her backstory and changed my mind. Lots of emotions. Roman and Hollis have an animalistic magnetism that is so overpowering. Great read and I want more of this series and these characters.

This is 3rd book in Brook Greene's The Knights of Mayhem. This is Roman and Hollis's story and it's a great story. Roman is all alpha, strong and gorgeous. Hollis is beautiful, damage and fierce. Hollis has done wrong to the club in the past that caused awful things to happen to the Knights and Their woman. In this story we get Hollis's reason to why she was involved with Marcus and why she ran away from him. We also see her struggles and what her life was really like. All the characters from the first two books are in this one along with some new interesting ones. Emily is a completely different character in this book and I love her. Some secrets come to light and some were very shocking. This is my favorite Knights book so far and I can't wait for more!!

Now firstly I must say I didn't want Hollis to have a happy ending.  She did her part in hurting Emily and also in taking Caden.  For me there is no redemption.

And I'm sorry but reading the book didn't take that feeling away. Even though I learned about her life, how she has been treated and used and how she looked up to her hero.......I just didn't have it in me to be forgiving towards her.

Now Roman....bloody hell I'd be all over him like a cheap suit!

Although I couldn't get behind the main character, this book was fantastically written, as were the others in the series, charged with emotion and brotherhood.

She is back!!!

So book 3 is Roman and Hollis story. Now when I read the blurb I thought, Hollis? After what she did? But once you get going you know this girl had changed and she really didn't realise what the consequences of her actions were, basically she was insecure unloved and waved to fit in, anywhere. When she calls Roman 6yrs after leaving, he puts the phone down so she rings again saying she had Caden. Roman tells no one just goes and rescues Caden on his own. This brings Hollis back in to his life but will the others forgive and except her? This story has twists, turns and an secret is revealed. I won't say anymore except read it

OK SHUT UP!
I so dropped the book and chucked it when I saw her name come back around. HOLEY MOLEY!
Roman & Hollis at Skankvill.
I just crapppppppped.
Way to come back into a story. WOW! Talk about shaking things up and fixing a poor image of someone. I so didn't see this coming I thought she was out the door. Not to mention thinking she is going to do something again. I caught all the hints thrown out about secrets I saw it coming I so didn't want to believe it then it turns out I over reacted and am such a losser. Way to make me cry again. AWESOME GRAB from Rebels & Readers WV 2016 I picked up the series.

Roman and Hollis finally get their turn. I absolutely loved this story. Not only do we get to find out what happened between them, we also get closure for several other loose ends. Even though everyone disliked Hollis for the part she played in Cal and Em's tragedy, she is desperately trying to redeem herself. If you like mystery, action, and of course romance, definitely check this one out!

What I love about this book is something that rarely happens. When a book ends with a CLIFFHANGER normally the author would takes us around and around before we get to what us readers are waiting for.. NOT THIS (which I think it's fabulous by the way) Once this book resumed I was fist pumping the air. What a great story!

Roman and Hollis

I enjoyed this book, I'm just not real fond of this couple. For some reason I just didn't pick up on much heat between Roman and Hollis. The story itself is good and gets much better towards the end. The characters and couples from the past two books are interwoven into this one so its nice to read their continuation.

Roman & Holis's story was one of deep emotions spread over such a long timespan & spattered with misunderstandings. Viewed by the rest of Roman's family as merely a passing faze, it is against all odds that they came through to stand together. But are they meant to be together?
This is another carefully crafted novel that seems to be what you can expect from Brook Greene.

I love Brook Greene's writing. It's intricate and full of twists and turns. Her talent is absolutely incredible, and as much as I love all her characters and how they interact with one another, the dynamics created, I am a total Eno Tucker girl. I was hooked from the first book, All In and have followed the Knights of Mayhem all the way.

Didn't care for it

At 39% I just had enough. Didn't finish it and didn't care. I can't stand reading her smug grinning skank anymore. He should have just ended her life in the bedroom like he wanted to and moved on.

Roman

This was not a favorite for me. I did not like Hollis i only read the book to see if they got Caden back than just flipped to some parts. I think what Cowboy did to Dalton was bad even though I understood why he did it. I feel like this series is going downhill.

I loved the heroine in this book. And that’s going into it already not liking her. Also, the cliche heroine in most books in this genre are so watered down and weak. Hollis has grit in her shit and depth to her character. Some intense action scenes that had me clenching in my seat. Roman pisses me off sometimes but it makes the story better. Love this book!

Well, overly emotional on this one, is one way to put it, seeing as I started with nails on all ten fingers, I have no-nails left, lol., I went though at least 4 boxes of tissues.. Wow!!!! I don't even know how to express the emotion's that this story pours out though all the characters, but mostly Roman & Hollis., Its strong, intense, compassionate, confusing, mean, loving, and most of all beautiful in a weird sort of way. It's heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time, It's a story chopped full of twist & turns, actions & adventure, love & hate, steamy & hot, ups & downs, and an all time high suspense that no one ever see's coming. I so highly recommend another 5 stars and beyond story as a must read.

So many different feelings!!!

Roman and Hollis's story....
I can honestly say that until I read this book I freaking HATED Hollis. But after getting her side of the story I absolutely love her.
The things she went through and did to try and keep everyone safe, and for them to accept her were absolutely amazing.
This book is a definite must read!!

This book was a little different than the others. We had actually already seen bits and pieces of Roman & Hollis in "In Ruins", but we got more of the story. It was a little inspirational how Hollis had changed from the last time we had saw her. Had more of the same little plot twists/surprises I didn't see coming. Overall a good read.
