Mirza Masroor Ahmad's speeches and letters advocate the need for peace in the world today. He appeals to Muslims and non-Muslims alike by offering Qur'an verses and explaining both how the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community interprets them as well as how other Muslims would read them. Reading this collection of his words gives readers a deeper understanding of the Ahmadiyya Muslim way. He urges people of all faiths to have tolerance and promote peace in order to create a universal peace that spans the world.

Though his message is heartwarming, his letters are repetitive; some of them contained almost the same words and phrasing. His speeches have similar meanings as well, though less so than the letters. Despite this, World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace has a pleasant, peace-centered message, a refreshing point of view on the many crises happening in the world.

This is a terribly repetitive collection of speeches and letters from a leader of an Islamic sect that claims to harbor the ultimate truth that will save us at the end of days while at the same time apparently naively thinking that to fight against evil and war it is enough to preach a message of peace and ask nicely. There are calls to fight against injustice yet also immense support for the status quo. The religion claims itself to be standing for everlasting truths yet constantly presents itself as reformed Islam fitting the modern world better. There is a pretense of taking a firm moral ground, yet Ahmad is trying to be equally friendly and respectful to the West, the Vatican, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, China... This book is so obnoxiously inoffensive that it ends up being terrible.
