^^ THE BENEFITS OF MONEY,WITHOUT ALL THE GERMS!^^

Tatsuro is having a bad life, the Yakuza life style is on the down and outs. What’s a man to do when all he knows, is how to intimidate people out of their money. He has always known a poor life, and at one point the life of a gangster was good, now he gets no respect and he is broke ass.

Well Tatsuro is on a mission to get 8 million that someone owes his gang, but the person is an old man he met when he was younger. This person took him in and tried to lead him down the straight and narrow. This seems like the ultimate betrayal to go in and make demands to a man unable to pay up, plus it was someone who treated him kindly before.

Well T is in a dilemma, how is he gonna come up with 8 million, well Tatsuro gets drunk thinking about how he’s gonna come up with the money. While completely wasted he runs into an old friend from high school and tells him his problem.

In comes Sagami a wealthy business man who has always loved Tatsuro, his love is in trouble so he offers up the money. Well his loan comes with serious collateral. If Tatsuro can’t pay then he is going to have to sleep with Sagami. Tatsuro agrees and here begins the life of Sleeping With Money.

Tatsuro was hilarious, denying he loves having sex with Sagami to the end, even though he loves it. Plus he wears the most ridiculous suits known to man, just can’t let go of the Yakuza life. Sagami is your typical alpha male, he protects whats his, and sleeping with Tatsuro was never about the money, but T is so stubborn it had to be about something.

This was my first yaoi novel and it wont be my last, so funny and sexy like only yaoi can be. This had few illustrations, so its not a manga. A good read overall.

This is maybe the first time I read a yaoi novel where the story is almost as interesting as the sex... (not that I read so many, so maybe this is not an exception!).

Tatsurou is a yakuza member without the attitude: from a poor family and with hopes to improve his perspective, soon out of high school he joined up a gang and now lives as debt collector. The work is pretty simple, since the reputation of the gang is enough for him to collect the debt without really making nothing of nasty. But then he is asked to collect a debt from the one man that in the past tried to help him and Tatsurou can't do that. In a drunken stupor he makes a bargain with Sagami, a former high school mate, now president of an important financial firm: Sagami will borrow Tatsurou the money he needs in exchange of his body: the day in which they sing the contract Tatsurou surrenders his body to Sagami and again every month as interest till the day he could repay the borrowing.

Both Tatsurou than Sagami are interesting characters. Tatsurou is a good guy without perspective that earns his day in the only way he knows; he knows that he is not a tough guy and he fears the day when someone will uncover his disguise. When he makes the bargain with Sagami he knows what he will face but he didn't expect to enjoy it so much. As he refuses to admit that he is not a bad guy, he refuses to admit that he is attracted by Sagami, and justifies his surrendering with the fact that Sagami compels him and during sex he is tied down; but he knows very well that the ties that held him are as weaken as his opposition, and that he could break them when he wants.

Sagami felt in love with Tatsurou in high school: he was entranced by the young boy with the angel face and the fiery behavior; actually he felt in love the first time he saw tears in Tatsurou's eyes, and at first he tries to do all he can to see again that tears. But he really doesn't want to hurt Sagami, he wants to see that tears from pleasure not from pain. It's obvious that Sagami is enjoying what they are doing together, but if let him know believe that he is forced will leave to the guy his honor, he will do that, since he most of all loves Sagami's spirit will.

As always in this yaoi novel there is sex, and a lot of it, but it's not too much unbelievable as in other stories, even if multiple orgasm one after the other without resting time and the use of some sexual terms that in the past I only heard for female anatomy make me turn up my nose here and there. But well, it's funny, and no one is expecting reality from this type of fiction!

I seem to be really obsessed to yaoi manga/novel with yakuza in it. Satsutabano Bed Demune or Sleeping With Money is surprisingly funny, sweet and fun to read. what i loved the most is Tatsurou Yamamoto(uke) is a yakuza member with some spunk and backbone. Even though Physically he is less masculine by comparison but he's NOT girly uke type. I adore uke who can stand up for themselves and, even in those cases that they still find themselves playing the 'damsell in distress', they don't break down in tears drowning in a pool of helplessness and are able to get a grip of themselves.

Woohoo, I can count this towards my challenge. Yakuza member Tatsurou is a debt collector. He’s not great at and rarely has any money but he’s in a particularly tight spot getting some money from an old man. Seems the old man had helped Tatsurou as a troubled teen and he is having issues being as tough as he should be. When his boss tells him get the money or else he ends up drunk and meets up with his high school nemesis Sagami who runs a big bank. Sagami offers to loan him the money and he has to pay by sleeping with Sagami. Tatsurou is torn between getting the money and freaking out about sleeping with a guy, Sagami in particular. But he agrees, resisting (and coming) all the while. Once a month he repays his debt in bed and despite himself starts to like it but would never admit it. He is once again sent to get money from the old man and accidently almost gets himself killed burning down the building. When he’s fired for being weak Sagami offers him a job but Tatsurou resists yet is coming to love Sagami. There is more action with a rival Yakuza gang, a kidnapping, a rescue and unexpected aid from Tatsurou’s assistant whom he can’t seem to get rid of.

On the whole this is one of the yaoi novels that I really enoyed. I actually wanted to know what happened. I’m not sure if it was the translation which seemed to use a lot of North American phrasing so it didn’t sound so stilted and odd. I liked that it showed what Tatsurou was thinking, how he came from a shitty childhood and had trust issues, dealing with liking a guy when he was always straight, having to save face by not admitting he liked Sagami. So I liked his character a lot. You didn’t find out much about Sagami except that he loved Tatsurou since high school. (They are 27 now.) But this one really worked for me even if I don’t understand the whole Yakuza system and that legitimate lending institutes hire the mob to collect on their debts. Seriously? Okay, cultural divide happening again. LOL But I stayed up until 12:35 last night so I could finish it so I obviously got caught up in the plot despite stuff that really doesn’t make sense to me not being Japanese.

I bought this book by mistake. I was looking for manga and instead I bought a yaoi novel. I had bad experience with previous yaoi novels and I was really mad at myself, but then I started to read. The book is comedy one and it has lot of funny moments even if they are far from reality and from time to time goes ballistic to the absurd drama.
Tatsuro was always punk, but one with kind heart and lack of money, who ended with yakuza. Sagami was always rich and well educated. The path of those two men crossed at one competition during high school, where Sagami won and fell in love with Tatsuro. His love was the deepest secret until Tatsuro made little business mistake aka did not collected money from certain older man. It made him to take loan, which was payed with his body, thus both men started to sleep with each other. Yakuza, elegant loan sharks, crazy underlings, flashy suits and even more flashy cars and general craziness packed together with good old anal sex made the novel enjoyable.

I don't know why I was ignoring this book for so long (my loss). Tatsuro was trying so hard to deny his feelings for Sagami and was so stubborn but surprisingly I didn't find that annoying which sometimes tends to happen. Tatsuro's character was very appealing. The sex scenes were hot.

Enjoyed reading this. I didn't want to put it down. I really liked the main characters in this. Tatsurou the Yakuza member and Sagami the businessman. Tatsurou is part of the Yakuza that tries to collect money but it doesn't seem like he can always get the money out of people. Plus he doesn't really like to hurt anyone it seems. He can't seem to get the money off one of the companies so ends up needing to get the money a different way to give to his boss. Enters Sagami a buy from his past that just happens to have the money and is willing to loan it to him for a price. I like how Tatsurou gradually changes his ways and wants to make his life better, and I enjoyed the relationship between Sagami and him.

Definitely a steamy read with a good plot, kinda wish Hachi had a bit more of a role to play. Either way, good read, my favourite after Ai no Kusabi and S.

Sleeping With Money is a light novel about a minor yakuza boss in debt to a loan shark, which is a premise that I certainly appreciate. Tatsuro is in trouble if he can’t get the money he needs to pay off his higher ups, so he takes out a loan with an old highschool rival who is intent on having him pay him off with his body! This is one of the most fun light novels I’ve read, and quite the page turner. Blackmail and monetary domination is, after all, always a fun fantasy kink.

2,5 bintang, dibulatkan ke bawah karena... karena.
Hmm...saya punya buku fisiknya, beli impuls gegara ada tokbuk online yang lagi cuci gudang. Terlambat hanya sekitar 2 jam dari dimulainya cuci gudang, yang tersisa tinggal novel-novel, komiknya udah habis (30 ribuan semua manga berbahasa inggris, ngiler daku!).

Mengesampingkan cerita cuci gudangnya, jadi sebenarnya novel ini gak jelek-jelek amat sih. Seenggaknya gak bikin mencak-mencak (standar jelek buat si Gie: bikin mencak-mencak), tapi berhubung saya udah baca seri "S"-nya Saki Aida (baru 2 jilid, sih), yang notabene yaoi novel yang temanya sesama yakuza-yakuzaan juga, pas baca ini jadi terasa beda level. Berasa ngejeglak jatuh gitu.

Anw, intinya plotnya sangat pasaran.
Karakternya, meski biasa-biasa aja, gak bikin jengkel.

Hmm... susah nyarinya. Masa' Saki Aida melulu?

Okay, this is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. I also really like the main character, Tatsurou Yamamoto. You can tell he is really a good guy who got into a bad crowd. He has spunk and passion. He is not another passive uke. He needs to pay up and has hit a wall. The wall is the handsome Sagami. He met Sagami in high school, which is when Sagami fell in love with him. I also thought the translation was really good.

My first try with reading a June yaoi novel was just mediocre. But this one.... This one was so good. It built up the characters beautifully, had a great plot and Oh Boy That Spice!!!

This was just a very basic yaoi story. It didn't do anything interesting or different, but it also wasn't bad enough to be fun. Very meh.

I liked this one. Not only has one or two hot scenes, but Tatsurou and Sagami make a great couple! Tatsurou is a Yakuza who likes to get into fights and to put a facade of bad boy. Sagami is an old, rich boy acquaintance from school who has always been in love with Tatsurou. So when Tatsurou (who sees Sagami as his enemy) has a huge debt, he makes an agreement with Sagami: Tatsurou has to pay him with his body.

Although the first one is forced, in the following ones Tatsurou likes it but he keeps denying it. So he has to be tied up (he wants it that way; otherwise he "will punch Sagami"). It was a surprise to have a light BDSM, which I liked a lot. And I loved that Tatsurou is so grumpy, while Sagami is relaxed and never takes Tatsurou's grumpy mood seriously.

And while Tatsurou is the uke, he is always manly, which was excellent. Very stuborn, but a real tsundere.

I did not like the illustrations that much; the mouths were too big IMO.

Recomendable.

I just... ugh. I can't like something that has one person almost forcing another to have sex with them. It's never going to happen. Not sure why I keep reading these books. Maybe I hope it'll be the one to change my mind? Idk.
