When his league accepts her case, Grant volunteers to go. As he works beside Sara to fix the mess of her life, they may both discover that, sometimes, the best way forward is to find a new path.
Elizabeth Langston lives in North Carolina, midway between the beach and the mountains. When she's not writing stories, she likes to stream mysteries, travel to faraway places, or curl up with a good book and a cup of coffee.
Elizabeth writes historical/ women's fiction and YA magical realism. As Julia Day, she has also written contemporary romance.
This wraps up the trilogy very nicely. All three girls aren't fully healed, but have matured and experienced enough emotional growth to go forth and flourish, not to mention they've all found love. as for Grant, he has also grown and now looks at his role(s) in a completely different way. This is a great series for teens who have experienced hard times or grief, as well as those who love a good dose of magic in their fiction.
I enjoyed this story and I cried at least once, but it didn’t hold the same pizazz as the first two books. A fitting end to the series though I really would like more books on Grant and Cameron and their assignments.
This whole series is adorable. You have to suspend your disbelief and just enjoy it. The hopes and aspirations of these young people are so real. This is a feel-good book in a feel-good series.
