Brittany Oldroyd has had a passion for writing since middle school, where she began to write Segolia: Daughter of Prophecy. Since then, she's experienced many trials that tested her determination, including a truck fire that destroyed all of her work. Like her characters, she believes in dreaming big and never giving up. Her plans for the future include going to college and getting a degree in English. Along with her passion for writing and reading, Brittany has a love for night skies, music, and watching thunderstorms. She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, where the people and the land continue to inspire her.

Brittney Oldroyd in another stunning book. Takes into a battle that has lasted for century's. As this battle has come to it's Apex, and one girl holds the fate of humanity in her hands. Can she do it?

This is a fantastic story. The characters are easy to relate to, the action is awesome, and the twist is unique. I've read every published novel from Brittany Oldroyd and this is my favorite story by her so far.

This is the second book I've read by Brittany Oldroyd and enjoyed it. Again, she has conjured an inventive world and I think she has added to the corpus of vampire lore. I liked these re-invented vampires, their origins, powers and mission. Her characters continue to grow and the love story progresses naturally. While the characters are solid, I still personally would like to have read more descriptive details of their surroundings so I could visualise their world which would round-off and enhance the characters, story, and open up the senses. Brittany is surely going from strength to strength and I look forward to reading her next book.
