USA Today Bestselling Author Magdalena Scott invites you to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of small town life in Legend, Tennessee. Each title in the series, The McClains of Legend, Tennessee features a member of that big, bull-headed McClain family as either the hero or heroine.

Each story is sweet romance (also known as wholesome romance). Readers enjoy being able to share the stories with daughter, mothers, and granddaughters. So pop some corn, pour some sweet tea, and settle into your comfy chair for a relaxing read.

CHRISTMAS COLLISION

Rebecca Mayfield is a terrific attorney, successful and respected. Her personal life, however, is currently a mess. Her most recent romance ended badly, her only son is out of the country, and it’s almost Christmas. Why not accept her friend Midnight’s invitation for a small town Christmas in Legend, Tennessee?

David McClain’s Christmas Eve tradition is to observe a solitary vigil in his remote cabin, in the mountains above Legend. It’s his special time to remember his beloved wife, whose life ended so suddenly just this time of year.

A freak blizzard intervenes, sliding Rebecca’s rental car into a snow-filled ditch near David’s cabin. Such close quarters, complete with a blazing fire could be romantic--but Rebecca and David have nothing in common. Or do they?

The mountain magic of Legend, Tennessee does its best to weave yet another love story...

If we haven’t met before, here’s the skinny on me:

USA Today Bestselling Author Magdalena Scott writes sweet romance and romantic women’s fiction. A lifelong resident of Small Town America, she invites readers into her world to find out what’s hidden just below the surface of those tiny dots barely visible on the map.

Romance, mystery, and the journey to be one’s best self are all part of a day in her neighborhood. Readers have commented that they’d like to move to the imaginary towns Magdalena writes about, which she takes as high praise indeed.

Magdalena is a practicing minimalist, having downsized from a 3,000 square foot house to a studio apartment, where her Giant Closet continues to resist taming. When not writing at home or spending time with family and friends, she loves to travel–carry-on baggage only–and is always pleasantly surprised at the kindness of strangers.

Christmas Collision!

After reading Book one in the series, Midnight in Legend, TN., I grabbed this one and enjoyed as much as the first one. I'm going to follow to the end of the series. These novellas are fun and romantic and it's just relaxing to follow along with the different couples as they try to fight off falling in love, thinking there is no HEA for them. Just a nice, easy and sweet novella. JudyE

Caught in a Storm

Rebecca is traveling to visit her friend Midnights home in Legend, Tennessee.
She is driving during a snow storm and drives into a snow bank. See lights in a cabin and walks to it. David opens the door to a frozen Rebecca. Good story on how two people meet on a snowy Christmas Eve and talk about their feelings because they have both lost the ones they have lost. Can Rebecca and David move on with their lives? Magdalena has written a wonderful book.

I enjoy reading Magdalena Scott's romance with a small town setting. Christmas Collision takes place near Legend, Tennessee, a big-hearted community with small town charm, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The setting, characters, and conflicts are legendary. Blizzards, being snowed in and Christmas make this a delightful read.

Christmas Collision

A great story for a relaxing night. Ms. Scott has introduced us to a family that I would like to get to know. Looking forward to following her series of Legend Tenn, and the McClain family.

Cute Story!

I’m going to have to read the rest of the series. It’s a short story and very well written! The rest of the series will be as good!
