What would you do if you knew that a coincidental mistake you had made has lead to the death of your loved ones? What would you do if you knew that it was a well planned coincidence?

A revengeful woman's pursuit after her lover, a Russian gangster who is responsible for the death of her husband and son, and who seeks to take away all her possessions.

Gabriela is a beautiful millionaire, a recognized art patroness, who leads an exemplary family life. She is tempted and swept into an affair with a mysterious and charming client. When her son and husband are kidnapped and murdered she discovers that they were not coincidental victims, and that the mysterious man is responsible for their deaths. In order to pull herself out of the depths of despair and alcoholism she is being drawn into, she must face the skeletons that were buried in her closet a long time ago, and carry out a brutal revenge against the murderer.

She formulates a vengeful plot and is helped by Guy - a young and handsome man who becomes her lover. Not knowing that he is a device in her plan, he dangerously interweaves his life with hers and risks his future for her.

Will he serve her needs? Will she risk his future? Will the Russian mafia kill them both?

This novel kept me enthralled from beginning to end!
The story begins with Gabi, a vibrant woman who is feeling as if her marriage is going through the motions and a loving mother.
Her family owned an Art Gallery which she has taken over and her husband never celebrates her successes, only reminds her how costly the gallery is.
One day, Gabi makes a choice that she later believes changed her life forever. As we read on, we learn that there is so much Gabi does not know.
This story has everything. Mystery, intrigue, Russuan Mafia and passion.
As Gabi works to rebuild her life with the help of Guy, a young man willing to do anything to protect her, we find that nothing was quite as it seemed.1
I loved every moment of this book but the end left me wanting so much more!
It is my hope that Arama will write a sequel to this. Arama is such a talented author. The characters are so real and the plot twists have been expertly spun.
This novel will not disappoint, it is full of mystery and intrigue.

Love, hate, friendship, betrayal, fear, revenge, death, and the Russian mafia dance across the pages of this engaging and fast moving story. To the outside world Gabriella Korman seemed to have it all -- a successful husband, a teenage son, a beautiful home, and an art gallery, but inside she was restless and on edge and wondered what had happened to the passionate woman she once was. She thought to rekindle intimacy with a fling with a Russian man, an art lover but life came crashing down around her when her husband and son were kidnapped, tortured, and murdered. Won't say more because I don't want to ruin the story.

Some minor editing errors.
