Holy shit, the first thing Negan says to Rick is, "Who do you need me to kill?" Like it's some ordinary, everyday thing. I'm glad that Rick asked if he were crazy, and then told him to sit back down.

I agree with Rick, when he said that Negan's never going to get out. I'm almost positive that he's lying, that Rick and the others will need Negan's help and have to let him out eventually, but whatever.

The way Dwight talks about Sherry/Diane, he just needs to get over her. They're not together anymore and nothing's going to change that. He just needs to move on and find another woman.

Hmm. Well this Laura woman is in love with Dwight. I agree with everything that she said to him, and I hope he takes some time to think about what Laura's said, and the fact that she pretty much came out and told Dwight that she likes him.

Aww, I feel sorry for Laura. She kissed Dwight and made it perfectly clear that she likes him, and he still decided to leave. What an asshole. I feel bad that Dwight's so messed up, he can't see a good thing when it's in front of him.

I'm glad that Andrea, Carl and Lydia made it to the Hiltop safely, and that Andrea was able to convince Eduardo not to tell anyone that they were there, and to tell her that someone's looking for them, before those people find them.

Even though I still don't know what to make of Lydia, I do like the conversation that she and Carl had. I'm also glad that they have each other. If Lydia didn't have Carl, I'm sure she'd be dead by now.

I agree with Brianna, in her conversation with Maggie. I too, have a feeling that things are about to get a lot more heated and fast. Rick needs to hurry up and come up with a plan, so Maggie, Hershel, Brianna and her kid can leave while it's still safe.

Aww, poor Eugene. I hate that he's all alone and grieving over losing Rosita and the baby. I just wish that he was close to someone else there, so that he could have someone to talk to about it.

Negan doesn't need to show his shock by cursing Rick out. There are plenty of other ways to show his surprise without saying fuck all the time. Rick is seriously worried about LYING to everyone?

That's so fucking stupid. After everything he's seen and done, and he's worried about lying. Oh please, that should be the least of Rick's worries. He should be more worried about trying to physically protect the community.

I don't like that Rick listened to what Negan said and wants to go along with it. The things that Negan says might be true, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea to go along with what he says.

Oh shit, Vincent and his wife are now talking to the people that want to kill Maggie. I'm pretty sure that those assholes parents of the psycho kids are going to try and do something else to Maggie.

I loved the conversation between Rick and Eugene, about using the ammunition that they've been saving, making a military, and then going after the Whisperers. I can't believe it took Rick so long to think of it.

Oh man, I don't like the sight of Dwight taking Lucille out. I'm pretty sure that means he's about to fully step into Negan's role and start cracking heads with it. I hope that I'm wrong and that Dwight's getting rid of the bat.

This is ending is fucking worrying me. The way Negan smiled after talking to Rick, Dwight recurring to Lucille in the middle of this shitstorm... looks like Rick's "civilized leadership" is being imploded - in Alexandria, by Negan's advices; in the Sanctuary, by Negan's memory. I'm starting to agree with Andrea about fucking killing him, even though I love the cursing son of a bitch.

Talking about Andrea, I'm worried people in the Hilltop won't buy her story, and we'll have to deal with over there too. And Carl being in love, for fuck's sake, I know it's part of everyone's history, but it's too fucking dangerous. He started all this going after Lydia. I agree she needed to be saved... but so does every young person in there. The scene of Alpha crying in the forest and being conforted by that guy shows us that not everyone in between the Whisperers really agree with that modus operandi. The smartest's thing to do would be to put some people among them, find out more about them, and then come back to really work in a rescuing plan. But I know it's wasy to judge. Can't wait for the next issue!

We're going to warrrrrrrr bitchessss!!!

Rick is going to strike back.

There was a conversation between Rick and Negan that it was just lovely. Fucking Lovely.

Can't wait for what's going to happen with Negan in the distant future.

Other than that, it was a calming down before the storm issue... it was nice. That's all.

So now next issue is promising lots of stuff and since it's the #150 it better deliver.

Writing a review is always hard without spoilers so all I have to say is I am real fucking happy with where the series is headed. It started to get a little stale. But it's gearing up for something more exciting than All Out War. I haven't been this happy for a while!

This is a review of the entire series.

Rick Grimes is a strong-willed deputy who missed the end of the world because he was in a coma for a month after getting shot in the line of duty. Shaken, starving and confused, Rick escapes the horror of the abandoned hospital only to be met with something far more terrible. Not only has the world ended, but the dead have learned to walk and to kill without mercy. After learning that his wife and son have fled to Atlanta from a single survivor and his son, Rick goes on a journey to reunite with his family and search for more survivors.

Rick quickly has to come to terms with the fact that the world has ended and only a select few survived. The dead have risen from their graves and they prey on the living. In a world where every minute feels like hours, where there's no such thing as law and order, where finding a small meal is a tremendous task, the walking dead are quite possibly the least threatening thing for the survivors to have on their breaking minds. Humanity is pushed to the brink of destruction, forcing them to embrace their cruel and primal nature in order to survive. Sometimes you have to be more concerned about who you let into your community so they don't kill you in your sleep and steal everything you once cared about. Rick has no choice but to abandon the ways of law and order that he's upheld as an officer for so long in order to protect the few loved ones he has left. He has to become a monster to protect his crew or risk being devoured by those who became more monstrous than him and even the walking dead.

Despite zombies running the world and having the series named after them, what really sets this series apart from the average zombie apocalypse tale is the focus on realism and the daily struggles, flaws and depth of the characters. There's plenty of badass zombie killing action, but the action often takes a back seat to give the characters plenty of times to share their extremely tragic yet endearing stories, grow through mutual suffering and learn to adapt to a world that has left them to die. Even after the world has ended, many people still can't see eye to eye. They turn on each other and kill each other when they should come together. Others form alliances in spite of their differences and try to rebuild over the corpse of everything that was lost. The daily human drama and conflict is more intense than any monster apocalypse could hope to be.

We watch Rick struggle to balance his old moral code with the many necessary evils he has to commit in order to survive and make the world a better place for the ones he holds close. We watch people like Glen, Dale and Maggie attempt to find love in spite of having every reason to be filled with fear, hate and self-loathing. Characters like Michonne have to learn how to forgive themselves and convince themselves they deserve to be loved despite all the blood on their hands. We watch the weak like Carl and Andrea become strong and sometimes the strong become evil like The Governor. Even monsters like the wicked yet oddly lovable Negan are given the chance to find new ways of redeeming themselves by struggling alongside the other survivors that have all been changed by the horrors of the fallen world.

The pacing is extremely slow and I can understand why that may be a turnoff for a lot of people, but I eventually learned to enjoy watching the characters grow, overcome their trauma, find meaning in life and learn to love again. The characters are forced to do many terrible things to survive and it haunts them every waking moment. The ways they overcome these regrets is very realistic, human and hopeful. The slow pacing really gives the feeling that we're living beside these people. The way every tiny detail of their lives and who they are is explored makes them feel very real and believable.

When I first started reading the series, I wasn't expecting it to have such an uplifting ending. It seemed so bleak and nihilistic for a long time and things would go horribly wrong even when they seemed to be going so well, but the finale channels all the pain, suffering and betrayal of the previous volumes and tops it off with a very touching and inspiring finish. This was never a story about hopelessness. It's about learning to appreciate the little things, learning to forgive yourself and learning to move on even when it's hard. When everything seems lost there's always more to be found, even when we believe otherwise because we convince ourselves that we don't deserve to be happy ever again. Instead of dwelling on what was lost, strive to try and make things better than they were before.

I've never been a huge fan of zombie apocalypse stories, but The Walking Dead had enough heart and strong social commentary to make me stick by the characters until the end and I enjoyed every moment of their long trial.

Well well well Rick goes and have a discussion with of all people Negan and then throws down a plan to appease people of Alexandria. And we have someone back Lucille is back folks. It's no wonder The Walking Dead is a legendary series, it truly deserves all the praise it can get. I love The Walking Dead and it's style. It's wonderful and I love the journey taken with Rick and the group as they roam the wasteland in search of life and stability.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

After seeing the end of the previous issue, this one was anticlimactic. The cover even makes it look like Negan is out, but instead Rick is smart enough to keep Negan locked and is just asking him for advice. At least Rick is ready to fight the Whisperers now. Dwight talks about someone named Diane, but it sounds like this might be meant to be his wife Sherry, who let Negan have her when she and Dwight first arrived at the sanctuary. A Savior named Laura kisses Dwight and tries talking sense into him, but he doubts his leadership skills. The final panel, which is surprising, explains it: Dwight has Lucille. Perhaps he is afraid of becoming the new Negan? Or maybe this could be more misdirection.

Oh, Jeffrey Dean Morgan is set to play Negan. Supernatural fans, you know him. It's Dean and Sam's dad. And oh, that patient who died who was also Izzy's love eons ago in Grey's Anatomy.
I am thinking he is PURRFECT for the role.
Also, things are about to get busy in Alexandria so i am looking forward to that!

Nothing better than Rick Grimes getting advice from Neegan. The Whisperer's have done their thing and an uneasy truce exists. But Rick has a plan on how to deal with this situation. Did I mention advice from Neegan? Good issue..not much action but a great deal of subtle behind the scenes maneuvering. More than that would be spoilers. Good lead up to issue 150. Only 3 stars because other than setting up the story for #150 not much happens beyond some foreshadowing of epic events to come.

I am not going to complain about Negan still being locked up or about them forgetting that Dwight's wife's name is supposed to be Sherry. Too many fans have. First of all, do you really expect them to keep Negan locked up forever? Secondly, that isn't the issue with this issue. The issue with it is that nothing much happens. Not bad, but kind of dull in comparison to the recent ones

I swear, that cover is as creepy as fuck. Which is a very fitting way to describe this issue, because Negan makes an appearance. As Rick's adviser. WTF?!

And WTH is going on with Dwight?

Still a bit too slow for my liking, but the Negan and Rick scenes were good.
