More than just journal prompts...

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and found it sort of comforting in a way. Thanks to the author's ability to touch on almost every aspect of why for some people such as myself journaling can actually be an intimidating hobby but still something we long to do. It was almost as though she had been my journal psychiatrist and already had all the answers to every issue that might've scared me away from either starting my journal or keeping up with my journal that I had started yet again for the 100th time. I like her style of writing as it is so down to earth and some what understanding allowing different options for one to choose instead of being very rigid with her advice and saying that there is only one right way of doing things and everything else is wrong.
In conclusion I would highly recommend this to anyone who has been contemplating keeping a journal but doesn't have the faintest idea how to go about it or if they should even bother. This should answer any questions or concerns you may have about the entire process and if that isn't enough, she also includes a whopping 501 journal prompts incase you have writers block and cant think of a single thing to write about.

Great for teens in or journalers of all ages!

I loved all the tips and tidbits in this book. Some of the prompts were more for the younger crowd, but any age group could use several. And even the prompts for teens and young adults could be tweaked for older writers. I liked the overall theme of how important and therapeutic journaling is for a person. I recommend this book to anyone, young or old, who wants to start their journaling journey.
