This book intrigued me from the very first page--

Marilynne wanted to type the Book of Mormon out word-for-word?
What an concept! Why though? I had to read more!

Interesting that she started out with a goal to write out the Book of Mormon NOT write a book about it...

Yet through her typing...she discovered something quite thought-provoking...unique words.

Yes, words that were not commonly found in any other scripture...so who wrote this book? How many different people? For that is what it is testifying of.

She also discovered a pattern with punctuation, or lack thereof, that is "evidence for the antiquity of the Book of Mormon."

How could she keep something like this to herself?

Grab a copy and she what else she discovered...

She even shares the unique words that she found so that you too might make this a study of your own.

SO GRATEFUL that she did share!

My own understanding and love of the Book of Mormon has been increased by this book!

I am now looking for these words with joy and anticipation.

I highly recommend this book!

We use the term "amazing" far too much today, but this book and its message deserves that evaluation. I learned so much to appreciate about the Book of Mormon, which I already love. The author through her research and study points out many evidences of the veracity of the Book of Mormon. Her main focus is on the actual words of the book, how they are evidence that each book within its covers are actually written by separate authors, not by Joseph Smith who translated it. The words and writing style also evidence of ancient writing, as scripture. I felt my mind and understanding expand with each chapter and revelation of the author in explaining what she discovered when she began an interesting way to read the Book of Mormon: she typed the whole book! I'm so thankful she did because she gave me new experiences and feelings about this wonderful book of scripture. My testimony of the Book of Mormon is not based on this kind of evidence, but on the witness of the Holy Ghost to me personally. But it is enlightening to have truth added to the knowledge I already have.

I loved this book. The author does a tremendous job of taking you on a journey with her in looking at the Book of Mormon from several different angles. I enjoyed the academic approach, but also appreciate the importance placed upon gaining a testimony of the Book of Mormon through the Holy Ghost. The reader finishes the book with such a greater appreciation of the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith and the ancient prophets who were inspired to make these records possible. You can't help but be filled with awe at what transpired, both in the actual experiences and doctrine detailed in the Book of Mormon and in the miracle of how those records came to be translated in modern times.

This book was actually an enjoyable adventure as the author seemed to have fun in sharing the many amazing things she discovered as she dissected the Book of Mormon in different ways.

I highly recommend this book for any reader with interest in the Book of Mormon regardless of the reader's faith.

Fascinating study; book isn't particularly readable since it's a lot of lists.
