Distorted Mirrors: Beyond The Wallace's

Rate this book
MirrorsThis is the background story of two of our main characters in Volume I of The Wallace Family Affairs, Tracy and Steve. In this story you can see a lot of their back and forth drama before the WFA story came about. This story begins at Tracy's high school graduation when Tracy had a very idealistic view of her future; and it ends just before she meets Andrew Wallace.DistortedThis is Steve's side of the story. Steve tries very hard to hide what he feels about everyone and everything. For years Steve has been in love with Tracy, but he has always felt that she was lacking something. Not satisfied with their relationship Steve always went out looking for someone to fill the void. That's when he meets Toya, a beautiful young woman who convinces him that they are in love; but something doesn't feel right. When he realizes he's in love with Tracy and wants to be with her it's too late. She shuts him out for good. Steve's life spirals out of control, and his only hold on his sanity is that one-day Tracy will come back to him like she always has.

Carey Anderson was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she currently resides. Carey comes from a large family, which is often reflected in the world she created with multiple multi-dimensional characters. Her current passion is African American Romantic Fiction; one day she will add romantic suspense, and children’s books to her resume.
Carey began the Wallace Family Saga as a doodle on her cell phone. Within five years that doodle turned into a complete sixteen book series (most of which can be read as standalone books). The series spans over fifty years into the lives of the Wallace and Latour family story that came to a climatic end when the finale was released in February 2018.
During this time Carey also managed to write a couple of true standalones to provide new readers with a sample of her writing style. Especially for the reader who doesn’t have the time to invest in her saga right away.
Carey would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know her better. Hopefully you’ve found a character within Carey’s world that resonates with you so much that you may actually feel she somehow wrote about you or someone you know.

Steve!!;;

As parents sometimes I don't think we realize the effects we have on our children. Steves mother was the beginning of his downfall. The sad part is he never saw it. Then Toya, ... Her mother's nasty ways began to mold her into the crazy woman she became. This book had so much drama, twists, and turns, and drama. I was worth the read.
