I couldn't wait to start reading this installment of 'Enslaved by the Alpha', I had it uploaded on my kindle app & started reading it right away... Well more like devouring it, I was quickly drawn into Astrid & Erik's lives once again. Please read this serial in order, as you will miss vital information if you don't, also these installments follow one- another chronologically. I could feel Astrid's hope in this installment, also I think she maybe secretly in love with Erik. Erik has come to tearms with having Astrid as his mate, his human side & wolf side finally agreeing with one another. There are a few hiccups in the pack, a certain pack female has plans for Astrid... So much happening in this story, keeping on the edge from start till finish, I absolutely LOVED it & can't wait to read what happens next....

Erik tells himself that he can't love, but the more time he spends with Astrid the more he is starting to act like a love sick pup. Gone is the rough and tumble he was, he feeds her 3 times a day and worries if she is cold and he even thinks of her as his mate. He doesn't want to let her go and wants to have a pup with her. The Neanderthal is starting to act human. This confuses Astrid because she is not used to him being so nice to her, she kind of misses his old ways and wants that back, maybe it's because she feels that she can't fall in love with him if he's mean to her. Or is it too late?

Will Erik be successful during the thrall?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

DELICIOUSLY CUTE, SERIOUSLY SEXY AND DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING !!!
Title: Enslaved by the Alpha: Part Four
Series: Shifters of Nunavut
Designation: Part Four of an Multi-Installment Serial,
Not a Standalone, Does Include Cliffhanger
Author: Viola Rivard
Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited
My Rating: FIVE SUPER SEXY STARS*****
Yowza! New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Viola Rivard has knocked it out of the park - again! Enslaved by the Alpha is a multi-installment serial and first release in her captivating new series, Shifters of Nunavut and folks, it's a real firecracker! And it just keeps getting better and better! The story is exciting, edgy, thrilling, imaginative, humorous, arousing, romantic and seductive. Oh, and did I mention hot? Oh yes, it's definitely hot! The narrative is exceptionally well written in the third person with alternating his and her points of view. The dialogue is well executed and flows effortlessly. And the characters... well, they're always the best part of Viola's stories. Don't get me wrong, Viola's books are always fast paced, well crafted, well developed and well edited and truly, a pleasure to read but it's her characters that I fall in love with every single time. Her characters are always unique, captivating, engaging, endearing and at times, laugh out loud funny but above all else, Viola creates, hands down, the most grumpy, growly, quite possibly irredeemable and certainly the most arrogant male antiheroes of anyone I know. You know, the kind we love to hate but secretly love, and of course, are always devilishly handsome.(Swoon....) And the male protagonist in this story is no exception. The interaction and banter between male and female protagonist is delightful and often hilarious and their sexual chemistry is almost palpable. Viola skillfully combines all of these elements to craft a delightfully entertaining paranormal tale filled to the brim with heart-pounding danger, heartbreaking drama, heart-stopping action, spine-tingling adventure, side-splitting humor and let's not forget, steamy, dreamy romance. When I read a Viola Rivard story, I'm always reminded of the Carly Simon song, Nobody Does It Better. The words replay in my mind: Nobody does it better, Makes me feel sad for the rest, Nobody does it half as good as you, Baby you're the best. And Viola definitely is the best! Buckle up my lovelies! It's another wild ride! And this time, we travel to the tundra of the Arctic for our story.
Book One:
Twenty-eight year old Astrid Castello is very much out of her element. As a native Floridian, the climate of the Arctic tundra definitely does not agree with her and it's all her younger sister Ginnifer's fault. Months ago, her sister had traveled to the Arctic to film a documentary on the way of life of werewolf packs living in the area and after finishing her film, she returned to the Siluit Pack and Zane, their alpha, is holding her prisoner. If her sister isn't already dead and Astrid can somehow manage to rescue her, then she's going to kill her for this. She doesn't even really like her sister but here she is, neck deep in trouble in the Arctic, trying to rescue her sister for her parents' sake. Yes, it's for them because she doesn't want to tell them that their favored daughter has traveled back to Nunuvat to live with the Siluit werewolf pack. And it has cost her everything including all her money! Well, technically the twelve thousand dollars she paid for her guides was actually Ginnifer's money since she withdrew(stole-minor detail) it from Ginnifer's bank account but she wouldn't have had to do it if Ginnifer had stayed at home instead of traipsing all over the globe as a freelance documentary filmmaker. And now, she finds herself in the middle of nowhere with a group of men who started out as her very kind guides but had now turned into a group of opportunists who were only interested in poaching the furs of werewolves and probably murdering her. Her plan was to travel to the location of the Amarok Pack and try to make a deal with their Alpha, Erik, to enlist his help in recovering her sister from the rival Siluit Pack where her sister is being held. Unfortunately, her meeting with the Amarok Pack did not go as planned. She has seriously underestimated the sheer savagery of the werewolves because the wolves of the Amarok pack have just slaughtered all of her very questionable guides, leaving only her alive. Oh my! Erik is a handsome, arrogant, ruthless and very selfish wolf who is determined to have things his way and unfortunately, there's only one deal the Alpha is willing to accept - her. Huh? Oh yes, Erik demands that she give herself willingly to him in exchange for him helping to rescue her sister. Oh my goodness! What's a girl to do? Why, make a deal, of course! Sadly, Astrid soon realizes that she has truly sacrificed everything to rescue her sister from the clutches of a demon and in the process, has ended up selling her own soul to the devil. Oh my! Will Astrid somehow manage to save her sister and herself or will she be Erik's new plaything until he grows tired of her and gives her to another wolf???
Book Two:
The story continues with Astrid struggling to find her place in the pack while learning exactly what being owned by Erik entails. At the same time, Erik is desperately struggling to control his wolf, something he has never had a problem with before. Apparently his beast believes that Astrid is his mate and is determined to have her and only her.Oh my! Will Erik be able to maintain his control or will he lose the battle to his wolf??? Will Astrid be able to convince Erik to rescue her sister from the Siluit Pack???
Book Three:
The story continues with Erik finally agreeing to send a group of wolves to the Siluit Pack to rescue Ginnifer but after Astrid reveals a possible relationship between Ginnifer and Zane, the Alpha of the Siluit Pack, Erik changes his plans and decides to make the journey himself and use Astrid as a bargaining chip to gain access to the Siluit Pack's hunting grounds. Their dangerous journey results in drastic changes in the relationship between the two unlikely lovers and Erik begins to see Astrid in a new light. Maybe his wolf wasn't so wrong after all. But will they be able to rescue Ginnifer from Zane or does she even need saving???
Book Four: Astrid learns that her sister Ginnifer is now mated to Zane. What? Oh yes! And they truly love each other and are expecting their first child. She has sacrificed her life for nothing. Well, maybe nothing is stretching the truth since Erik now seems determined to make her his mate. Huh? Oh my! Originally, Erik had planned to just take her until he tired of her and then give her to another member of his pack(his brother) but he has quickly come to the sudden realization that he wants no one else to even touch her - ever! Oh my goodness! He wants her to become his mate in every since of the word including giving her a pup - his pup! Erik discovers that he truly likes the idea and having her as his mate and having a pup of his own to teach and to one day become alpha of his pack. He likes it a lot but Astrid doesn't appear to be enthusiastic about the idea. She knows she can't become pregnant and have a child - she's already tried and failed. That's what broke up her marriage. So, she convinces Erik to accept a bargain - if she's not pregnant by spring, he will allow her to leave and go back home to Florida. Hmmm....But is leaving Erik what she really wants??? Has Erik's harsh and abrasive personality turned Astrid against him for good or could she be developing real feelings for the handsome, aggressive alpha??? Unfortunately, there are members of the Amarok pack who oppose their mating for reasons of their own and Astrid's life may be at risk. Can Astrid ever be truly safe with the Erik's pack??? I guess we'll have to wait and see. No spoilers from me but I will say this......Arrogant, ruthless, dominant Alpha wolf who takes what he wants regardless of the consequences and may just be irredeemable-check! Curvaceous, naive heroine who is on a mission to save her sister and may just talk the alpha wolf to death-check! A sister who is 'supposedly' being held captive by a rival werewolf pack-check! A cast of wonderful characters-check! Danger, drama, action, adventure and enemies galore-check! Humor, heated attraction, unconventional romance and steamy dreamy sex-you bet! That and a whole lot more! I can hardly wait for the next installment! Seriously sexy, completely captivating and delightfully entertaining!

Ugh. Austria's personality has changed into a whiney, needy, annoying person. She started out as a confident woman - enough so that she organized that bunch for an artic rescue. Here she has changed into an annoying nightmare. I hate the change.

I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST RE/VIEW1 AND THIS IS MY HONEST OPINION .... OVER 18 READING
I LOVE THIS STORY BECAUSE THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT.
I love the way Erik is changing toward Astrid, the way she talks all the time, he ignores but is realizes he is beginning to like it. he is trying to remember all that his brother told him about what she must have to not die, you know sleep, food- not the raw she refused to eat,and water. He now wants to mate and have a pup (but just one), she tries to explain she can't but he's not listening. She will come up with ideals that will lead her to find out more about him (secretly she is having some fun with it). But in this book she will in up in danger not her fault and when he finds her and she is in danger and alone , he is furious, and not at her. He realizes what it is that draws him to her, what he is willing to do for her and what he thinks he can't do, but he no longer plans to give her away when he is done with her, facing that he won't be done with her. Then one he wakes and something is different, he tries to tell her then just does what he wants. I can't wait for it to continue and I hope it's 2 or 3 just so he don't just get 1 pup.It would be so funny to watch him try to be a daddy to a lot of pups at once.

I am entranced by Erik. It's been a long time since I've adored a hero as much as I do Erik. He's such a brute, a complete alphahole, but I love him.

I like he's so introspective, even when things confuse him, like Astrid and his feelings for Astrid. He thinks it through and he weighs his options, accepting some, discarding others. It's a fascinating process to watch as he reaches his conclusions.

Astrid cracks me up. She is so ill equipped as a human in the Arctic tundra and she tries to make the best of the situation. I think she is as confused about Erik as Erik is about her and they are still feeling their way around each other. I don't know how many more parts this serial has to go but I'm curious to see how it resolves the feelings and the relationship between Astrid and Erik. I'm very curious to see if any attachment forms between them since there's so little of the tender feelings going on so far.

I'm looking forward to the next part. I really want to see how Erik and Astrid deal with the mating thrall.

Erik and Astrid continue to have a very unique relationship. As we hear more of Erik's thoughts, we realize he is finally accepting that Astrid is important to him and should be his mate. He still doesn't understand her but he cares more about her needs than before. We learn more about his past and it explains some of his thoughts and actions.

Astrid is hoping that the bargain she made with Erik will lead to her return home. She enjoys the sex but doesn't want to stay. She pushes at Erik because he is the one that makes her feel somewhat safe in this new and dangerous environment.

Each part is a quick read and leaves you wanting more. The ending made me very eager for part five.\ .

Book 4 in the Shifters of Nunavut series.

This series keeps getting better and better. Just a short story, that if the series was put together it would be a great novel. Reading it part by part each month is great though. It fast and keeps you guessing, never leaving you bored of skipping to the end.

Erik admitted that Astrid is his mate and on the way back to the den, has to convince Astrid that he means it. Astrid, believing she cannot conceive a pup, thinks that her time is limited with Erik.
Back at the den the threat of the bears and missing scouts has Erik going to check things out. Surely Astrid will be safe in the den.
But we all know life never runs to plan. Astrid "should" be safe. Well read the book to see just how safe a human is in a den of wolves.

I CANNOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! The last two sentences summed it up for me! I totally love Erik. He is a big huge jackass but he is sooo good at it. I am hooked. Erik despises the complaining and all of the needs that humans need met on a daily basis. It infuriates him that he tries to block Astrid out. Yet, he is drawn to her as a moth to a flame. Will she be the demise to his pack? Astrid does have to upper mouth, Hand when they finally make it back to the den. I found that part very exciting and interesting that one act can make this Alpha crumble… Viola does a great job of leaving you screaming for more! Big Sigh I guess I will have to wait a few more weeks for Part five.

Emotions complicate things
After Erik’s declaration to the Siluit pack and what he said to her, has Astrid not sure what to think anymore. The two of them tread their way back to Erik’s den and the Amarok territory. Erik is starting to realize just how fragile Astrid is and that he has some unknown fascination with her and wants her to himself. Then there are the Bear shifter coming even closer to and on to the Amarok territory. Very entertaining installment to the series. Well written and very enjoyable to read.

While I found this to be quiet interesting I find my self questioning Astrid action instead of being happy that Erik is finally treating her a little bit better she questioning it it's like she wanted him too treat her badly. I'm also glad that we get to see a more sincere and considerate side of Erik. No matter how he try to convince himself that Astrid is just weak human he can't help but admire her strength. I'm looking forward to see how everything is going to turn out. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Part 4 of the Shifters of Nunavut series was really HAWT! Viola Rivard did it again. Erik is really beginning to become personable and not let his wolf rule. He is still a jerk but at least he's beginning to care. Erik is beginning to put Astrid's needs in the forefront of his mind, making sure she eats, keeping her warm and safe. Astrid is beginning to understand him as well, and is starting to have feelings for him. I cannot wait to see what happens next between the two and if they are able to have a baby.

Enslaved by the Alpha part IV continues to surprise with the amount of action crammed into 50 pages. Starting with the trip coming back from seeing Zane and Ginnifer. Then when they get back to the den we learn more about some more of the pack. And in this installment we get more hotness, as Erik and Astrid explore their physical relationship. Can Erik get Astrid pregnant, can she endear herself to him so he won't let her go?

I still can't say I like Erik, but I like Astrid and hope for the best...

This is the fourth part of the Enslaved by the Alpha series. Viola's books are always fast paced, well crafted, well developed and well edited. I fall love every single time with her characters.
In this book Erik is slowly melting his Bad alpha attitude, but Astrid is the one who is constantly talking that she is not in love with him, and that she is not looking for love....oo my my...she is wrong...she is falling as fast as he is. This part was a little bit intense, because of her believes that she can not get pregnant....
I really wonder what will next book reveal. Ps.. Too short :)

In this installment we see how Erik is still trying to desipher his feelings for Astrid now that he has taken the dicision to keep her as his mate and give her a pup.

Astrid on the other side is almost oblivious to her feelings for Erik and tries to survive each day as she can.

A short sotry that i well written and short.
It keeps you reading and it leaves you hanging.
Still i can't wait for the next installment to come!

Astrid is desperately trying to keep some distance between herself and Erik while he's decided she's his mate.

Part Four was a quick read where this time around we get to see how some of the background characters really feel about things, even if Astrid still hasn't realised.

And then we have Erik who is initially trying to deny his feelings and insisting he doesn't want Astrid fawning over him but then getting annoyed when she doesn't, poor puppy.

Another short addition to the overall series. This time it was fun to see Erik's reaction to a blowjob. Laughing at his thoughts on this one. Without giving too much away, i'm finding I'm liking Erik more as the story goes one, as he continually fight with his inner wolf on proper regard for Astrid. While Astrid is determined to go home at the beginning of spring and doesn't believe the new traits erik is currently showing. Can't wait to see what happens next

OMG!! This storyline is getting better and better! It maybe short but it reads BIG!! The description of the scenes makes you feel as if you are a part of the story. I will hate for this series to end but as always they must. I am on the edge of my seat to read the next book in the series. I know it won't disappoint me.

As Erik's feelings towards Astrid change and become more complicated, so do his wants for the future. I love the character growth in this series, which I think my be my favorite so far. Erik is complicated and Astrid can be a handful and is a bit of a mess at times. This installment had things getting more heated and serious, which is awesome. And it had quite an ending. I'm going to have to read the next one now!

Astrid & Erik's "relationship" takes a few steps forward, but like most relationships that start out with sex there are issues to work through. The intense love scenes return in part 4. Erik's priorities are changing as well. Part 4 is a nice progression in the overall story with good growth between the main characters.
