I am the good girl, the one who does no wrong.

I need an escape. Anything to make the pain go away.
Trouble comes for me, and I don't fight it.
I tried so hard to believe in what I was,
But nobody understood.
Not until him. Not until Lucas.
He sees me. He believes in me.
He refuses to let me drown.
He’s my way out. My escape.
But Lucas is forbidden. He’s a cop. I’m in danger. And my father is trying to protect what can’t be protected.
There can only be one outcome.

Oh how I missed a good old MC book with hot, broody and intense alphas! Bella Jewel sure knows how to write a damn great story and pull you into it!

It's hot, gripping, gritty, broody, intense, emotional, heartbreaking, suspenseful, steamy and so damn good. It was so close to getting a 5-star rating from me...

HOWEVER.

The last 20% of the book felt a bit rushed. And sometimes the heroine seemed immature and too young for the hero although the age difference wasn’t that big (and the endearment “kid” certainly didn’t help).

Pandemonium: Mainly focus and introduces us first to Ava one of the daughters of Jackson the Prez of the Sinner MC club. Ava is twenty-four year’s old living on her own trying to show her family she can actually be a grown up. Ava was spoiled by the club and of course Jackson; wanted to show them she could be independent and she didn’t need babysitting. One day she gets taken by a monster aka enemy of her father. He had taken her to send a message to her father; the enemy wanted to hurt the most precious and close thing to the Prez and he knew breaking Ava would work.
“How do you choose whose life is worth more? How do you decide that you’re worth more?” Ava

description

Lucas Black; at only thirty years of age is a broken man himself. He has a sad past but he focus on his job as a detective and hides under his work. He is professional, successful and super hot. Faith put him in front of Ava and he feels the need to protect her. He could see in her eyes the broken girl and he could see himself in her. However; he finds out that she is the daughter of the MC and he had history with them. He tries to stay away but when he find out how bad Ava was drowning he felt something towards her and what started as a protection became something else.
“I’ve seen the pain in your eyes in my own before, and I know how it fuckin’ feels.” Lucas

description

Ava distanced herself from her family a bit after she was rescued from that horrible experience. She did not wanted her father to hurt because of what she saw; of what she went thru. Ava finds herself on a road to self destruction and no one even noticed except Lucas. He knew too well her dept. of depression and as much as he didn’t want to be involved he just became involved because Ava found on him something she didn’t found on anyone else. She saw a man that was broken as she was and she knew he was the only one who could understand her at the same time she wanted to safe him.

Lucas and Ava somehow managed to find hope on each other and they give into their new feelings for each other. Lucas was extremely protective and smoking hot; he made Ava melt in his arms and I was drooling over him.

description
description

Secrets comes out, there was a big battle between Jackson and Lucas because MC and Cops defiantly don’t get along. However; after the club found out everything they really had no choice but to accept Lucas help specially after Ava was abducted once again and this time would she escape?!. The original sinners are just amazing and Lucas was definable one hot detective. All the sinner’s kids were just so funny I just loved how much they all love each other and teased each other; seeing the parents and all their now grown children made me so happy. I laughed so much, this book was packed with so much action, suspense, and it was written from both Ava and Lucas point of view. I just can’t wait to read the rest of the children’s stories because trust me there is so much I want to know about them specially Danny and Skye.

“Sometime the greatest heartache makes the strongest people.” Ava

description
description

This book can be read as a standalone, but if you haven’t read the original MC Sinner I highly encourage you to do so because they are so good and all of them are on this book and I loved them all. We see Jackson (the prez) his wife, Cade and Addison, Spike and Ciara, even Muff so yeah you must meet them. I recommend this book all my MC lovers, if you are looking for a book full of angst, funny, action packed and steamy sexy scenes this book is for you.

I was not prepared to cry as much as I did when I went into this. The story was heartbreaking and emotional; it will have you grabbing for the tissues. Not even half way through and I had already decided I needed a big glass of wine if I was going to finish.
"Love has no boundaries.

Ava grew up around tough bikers that handled life without always following the law. Her Daddy is the President of the Hell's Knights MC and has always protected her from the bad things that can happen in life. But one night stole that sense of protection from her and she seeks comfort in the arms of the man who save her - Detective Lucas Black.

Lucas's life changed drastically when tragedy struck over a year ago. He had a hard time coping with what happened but eventually got back to his old self and learned to heal. So when he see's a young girl drowning in her fears and hurt he feels a need to help her swim. He just wasn't expecting her to be the daughter of the man he's been investigating.

Lucas Black = My man. He had me swooning, and crying, and made me fall head over heels in love with him. What he had been though broke my heart but he put it back together again when I saw what a sweet guy he was. He jumped right in to help Ava even after he learned who she was, not letting that stop him from saving her. I loved how strong he was, seeing what he went through but then seeing that he was able to move past it and live again was truly beautiful.

Ava surprised me. I was nervous that she would be the Daddy's girl that was an annoying brat, but she wasn't at all. Yes her father protected her and sheltered her some, but she wasn't completely innocent about the world and I liked how down to earth she was. She had her issues after what happened, but se accepted the help Lucas was offering her, and to me that was the hardest thing she had to do, but she did it without fear.

This book broke so many of my reading rules, and yet I loved it. I hate when a book has a super slow build up of romance and it takes forever for the characters to get together, yet with Ava and Lucas the fact that their relationship was slowly building up to more made it more special and I loved seeing them tip toe around their attraction at first. Lucas' POV was mostly in the "then" part of the story and went back to when he was dealing with his heartbreak. I usually really hate when a book will jump around from the past to present, but Bella Jewel did it perfectly and the way it was leading up to the present was fascinating so I ended up really liking it.

Bottom line, this is another amazing story by this wonderful author and I can't wait for more. We got to meet the other MC kid's, now all grown up, so I'm already dying for them to get their stories. Pandemonium is a spin off from the MC Sinners series but can be read as a brand new series - though the hints of the previous stories may make you want to go back and read that series.

"I can't heal you when I'm so fucking broken myself."
description

Pandemonium is the latest and greatest MC book by the amazing Bella Jewel. This is the first book in what promises to be a truly engaging and heart stopping series. I was quite thrilled to get my hands on an advanced copy of this read. Once I started reading it, I was not able to put it down. Pandemonium brings us back to the infamous Hell's Knights featured in the MC Sinners Series. If you haven't read that series yet, don't worry. Pandemonium is a stand alone and you will thoroughly enjoy this read.
description
"I've been waiting for him. For this moment. For the person I let in enough to take something I've held so close."
Ava, the daughter of the MC Club Prez, finds herself in a very precarious position. Due to her family connections, she has a target on her back! After enduring brutality and being pushed to the emotional brink, she is able to get free. While collapsed, alone and injured, it isn't her father who saves her but a police detective named Lucas.
"He saved me."

description
"Little do I know she's going to change my entire life."
Lucas, enemy to the Hell's Knights, discovers Ava and is overwhelmed with concern for her. He has experienced his own loss and is still grieving. As Ava plunges into the depths of depression, the only person who seems to bring her peace is Lucas. The two are an unlikely match and are like star-crossed lovers caught in a storm. That storm is Ava's MC Family and the demons of Lucas' past clawing there way through his soul.
"The best thing for me is to just pray and hope I'm not going to lose him, because I couldn't cope."
description
"Two broken pieces can make a whole."
Told in dual POV, Pandemonium has action, suspense, romance, and enough "sexy steam" to fuel a shuttle launch from the NASA SPACE STATION! Both Ava and Lucas are dynamic characters with complex issues to battle. In order to capture the full scope of the plot, the setting of the story is placed in both the present and the past. When the time stamps intersect, my heart stopped. I was 100% engaged in this read and could not put it down. Additionally, the familiarity of the secondary characters enriched the story greatly. I am certain to return to the MC Sinners Series in order to read them all and grasp the full scope of these characters.
"Dating him is like coming alive. It's like the first breath when you're drowning, and it's like laughter on Christmas morning."
description
"Because the second I found you ...I knew you'd change my life."
description
Overall, I highly recommend Pandemonium to my MC lovin' friends and to those readers who enjoy a dark and twisted ride! This book really packs a punch and I am certainly hooked! I am really looking forward to more in this series. Get your kindles ready right now! This book is a must read!

TITLE: Pandemonium
SERIES: (MC Sinners Next Generation, #1)
AUTHOR: Bella Jewel
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
RELEASE DATE: January 26th 2016

MY RATING: 5 STARS

So epically-good!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I loved this, just the right amount of dark AND grit, don't get me started on Lucas *swoon* he was perfect *sighs* alpha protective dominant male at its finest, this even squeezed a tear out of me, Bella exceeded all my expectations, all my boxes were ticked, bikers, kidnapping, all the old gang came back to life, the feels gods the feels, this book is going to throw a few spanners in the works where a book funk is concerned, I can not wait for the next book in this series, once I started this book I as a goner, truly epic..Loved this book hard!!

**This book can be read as a standalone, but don't stress original MC Sinner fans, your favs are all there!**

Pandemonium: introduces us first to Ava and gives us a background glimpse into her life as an MC brat..

I was raised with bikers, my dad being president of the biggest club in the state.

Not far in your thrown into the dark, the grit, kidnapped, murder, in true Bella fashion your left sitting on the edge of your seat racing through the pages to see what's going to come at you next and she doesn't disappoint..

There haven't been many times in my life where the club has lived with looming danger. BUT recently, something has started, and things have become a little more frantic.

One night after work she's grabbed as a message for her father, but two days later is released, she's severely broken, barely functioning, drinks to forget..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I reach my car, and it's darker down here than usual. I look up and see the lights are dimmed - one of them has blown. I feel a sudden sharp jab to the neck.

DARKNESS TAKES OVER

Something is going down with the club, and that something has just caught up with me.

You see, both your fathers - he points to the girl, then to me, have been conspiring against me. They want me gone. They want me dead. They don't like what I'm bringing to the table. I don't like what they're planning, so I'm sending a message. what better (he laughs) than their little girls.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

PAST: Then we meet Lucas as he was in the past, who is happily married to his second wife Jennifer with a daughter Shylie from his first marriage..

Lucas and Ava meet due to her wandering the streets, bloodied, hurt, scared, he helps her..

Shadow aka Lucas The nickname Shadow came from the club, because apparently I come in like a shadow and disappear as quickly as one.

This changes swiftly from past, to present so you really need to keep your wits about you chapter to chapter, it's also spoken in dual POV (Ava & Lucas) These kindred souls connect on a broken level, he's broken due to losing a loved one, she's broken due to her wanting to survive..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lucas is forbidden, he's a cop. Lucas and I . . . we’re from two different worlds.

Loved this one !! I've read multiple books from the MC Sinners and the Jokers' Wrath MC series. This series is a spin-off, of both those series, featuring "the next generation". Which is a nice way of saying "offspring".

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor all grown up gif

This first book is about Ava....the daughter of Jackson and Serenity (Knights' Sinner). She is a  very sweet and very loveable  23 years old lady. She grew up around the club and had the love and protection of all the bikers there. Especially her father's, who is also the club president. Even though Ava loves the club and is friends with many of the club's other offsrping, she does have a life of her own, which has nothing to do with the MC.  She lives alone in an appartment and has a pretty decent job. Life is pretty good for Ava...

https://www.google.com/search?biw=1517

That is all about to change though... One day, Ava is taken by a club enemy, and forced to make a decision, that will chance her life forever. She comes out utterly broken and not able to tell her father.

Lucas, a very hot and also very broken detective, is the one that finds her. I guess he sees something of himself in her eyes, because he wants to help her. He knows she isn't telling him the whole truth, but he gives her time....

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor and then a hero comes along gif

Now everybody knows that cops and MC's don't really mix, and the fact that Jackson and Lucas already have some history, doesn't help at all !! But Ava is spiraling out of control and she has nobody to confide in.

Lucas has his own horrible past and demons he needs to deal with, but he can't help but feel for Ava, so he decides to try and help her. Of course this leads to all sorts of feelings and when they finally give in to those feelings....hot damn !!

Gerelateerde afbeelding

Ava's father finds out eventually and lots of secrets get spilled....all the while Ava is still in a lot of danger.

I really enjoyed reading this one. Ava was a lovely heroine, she was sweet and not afraid to admit that she needed help, which in my opinion, only made her stronger. Lucas was awesome. I loved him from the very beginning. Such a sexy broody detective...with a nice dirty mouth on him ;)

https://www.google.com/search?biw=1517

This book wasn't an insta-love, like many bikerbooks. Both characters are pretty broken and so they need some friendship, trust and healing first.

I loved the appearances of all the old characters, and the introduction of all the new ones.

There are no club-sluts or anything of sorts in this book. Ava get's in trouble because of the club, and her family and friends belong to the club... but this book is pretty much about Ava and Luke, not the rough MC life, since Ava herself is not a member ....

I highly recommend this series ;)

What happens when a law abiding cop and an MC President's daughter get together? Catastrophe. Two broken people who found each other in the most unthinkable circumstance.

Ava is a twenty-four year old good girl. She works,goes to school and sees her family on a regular basis. Having a father whose the President of one of the most notorious MC clubs,she loves her family. Life is good until it's not.

Lucas Black is great detective. He excells at his job but his personal life is in shambles. Having suffered a tragedy,he copes by throwing himself into his work and not having to relive those aweful memories. But one person is going to change his life in a way that he never saw coming. Will it heal or break him?

Love has no boundaries.

"This is the kind of man my father and his club run from,the kind of man they despise,yet he's walked me through my darkest hour".

Ava and Lucas found each other when her world came to a screeching halt. She was lost and broken and Lucas did everything in his power to help her. Being told most of your life to not be around cops is the one thing that's been ingrained in her mind. Her father doesn't trust them but there's more to it than it. Everyone is connected in a way that will be a huge domino effect and not everyone will be standing when it's over.

"They say you meet people in your life for a reason,and sometimes it takes a while to know what that reason is".

I loved Lucas determination and his loyalty. He really cared about Ava and wanted to help her. He was strong when she wasnt,determined when she was fearful,and passionate when she was doubtful. And the things that man did was just "oh my". I couldn't really connect with Ava and certain situations she was in, I didn't understand it. I felt like she made it harder on herself and that got me upset.

I haven't read any of the previous "Hell Sinners" books but if you're a fan of them, then you should continue on and read this one as well. This story is about finding love in the most unlikely situation and learning to heal after tragedy.

It isn't typical big love story. It is more about survival and struggle with nightmares that brings you life. In that chaos are born feelings that help to survive the most difficult moments.

"Sometimes life has a funny way of introducing people that it wants in our lives."

About the plot: Ava has peaceful and joyful life, under the protection of her father's club, a loving family and a tight-knit group of friends. But when someone drugged and kidnapped her, she found herself in a situation in which there is no correct answers and behavior. Despite that she came out of this alive, is completely broken and nothing will ever be the same again. She is on the path of self-destruction, and no one can protect her from it.

" The demons in my head are having a party, and I’m not coping. Not at all."

Lucas finds her at her worst moment. He helps her, but is a bit more caring than require from him, his profession. He sees in her what he survived alone, what he continued to struggle. Tragedy, destruction and not coping with the situation. He has a lot of problems on his head, and although the circumstances are less than favorable, decides to help her in her fight.

"This is the kind of man my father and his club run from, the kind of man they despise, yet he’s walked me through my darkest hour. "

What I like? It is not entirely based on the love story. It is here and is an important thing because thanks to this feeling things improving. But most of the book is based on coping in a difficult life situation through which you will find love. It makes me positively surprised. Of course there are hot and cute moments between the two lovers. But it does not occupy half a book of descriptions. There are other events that are very interesting and the more you read the more you want to know.

It is very well written. Part of the book is as Then through Lucas eyes and you find out what are his nightmares progressively. At the same time, we have Now through Ava eyes. I know that not many people like such a division, I don't, but it is fantastically done here. Turn the excitement and enriches the story. There's a moment when his Then is her Now, and it is incredibly well done. My favorite moment.

“What exactly are we doing here with each other?”
His eyes hold mine. “Learning how to swim, kid.”

What I don't like? Actually up to 70% I loved everything in this book. Then things a little too easy get solved. It has a few weak points or questionable moments. I don't know if such a thing exists, but nevertheless it is more soft-mc romance at the end. Because I read a lot of them already, and I am unable to imagine that things so well arranged themselves with such a scheme of events.

Final thoughts: I expected something else from this book, and it surprised me in a positive way. It keeps you in suspense and emotional stage. I have not read The MC Sinners series, original part of this spin off, for now because I want to catch up, but I can imagine how for a fan of this series is a wonderful continuation. Because who wouldn't want to read about the children of characters of the previous part all grown up and adult? I would give a lot to have that opportunity in many other books.

This is my first Bella Jewel book and as I've predicted most of the casts from the previous series MC Sinners were present. I wish I know about their history. Now that all their children are all grown up, it seems like some are gonna be pair of with each other. For those who are familiar with them, you might enjoyed their connection and camaraderie.

This is the story of Ava, the MC president's daughter. She thought her life was safe and carefree under the MC protection, but when she was kidnapped and experience something traumatic, her life is never same again. What follow through is the continue downward spiral of her life.

Lucas was the detective who came upon her when she was all battered and bruised. His instinct is to protect this little fragile woman and help her seek justice despite her unwillingness to cooperate. He knew she is hiding the truth, more so after knowing her family background.

However, I do have some problem with the heroine, Ava. All that pain and desolation that she experience seems like something that she inflicted on herself. I'm not trying to make light of what she experience while at the hand of the kidnapper, but I feel that it doesn't warrant that kind of reaction from her. I wish the kidnapper did something more awful to her that make her this way. I can also never understand why she shunned her family. She got a great supportive parents and friends among the MC club, but all she did is lie to them and hide away. Why?? I wish I can understand this complicated woman.

As for Lucas, he is one yummy man. His past that was told in alternate chapters are painful for me. I wish the author will just give it all to me at once because by half way through I can already guess what is going to happen to his once happy family.

Pandemonium is an intense, suspenseful and emotional read. Both the hero and heroine have such heavy baggage and deal with a painful past. Together they both find strength and solace in each other. I'm very interested in other side characters and I can't wait to read the next one. Hopefully I will feel more connected to the heroine as I did for Ava.

4 Biker and Copper Stars

I haven’t read a Bella Jewel book in a long time. I enjoyed The MC Sinner’s series and so when I heard there was a new spin-off series (based on the kids), well I was all over that!

Pandemonium is a standalone. You do not need to read the MC Sinner’s series prior to reading this. This is Ava’s story. She is Jackson’s baby.

I really liked Ava. I found her strong, sassy and a true biker’s daughter. She loves her Daddy, Jackson and she is the typical good-girl biker daughter. She lives on her own and works for a creep, but other than that, her life is great, until she gets kidnapped and everything changes.

I really liked how the book started. It should a young, free and happy Ava. I love the relationship she has with Jackson, it’s ridiculously cute and it will make you want to read his story or reread it. After Ava gets kidnapped, she’s cold, jaded and traumatized.

Lucas is the person that finds Ava’s broken and battered body. I was really interested in Lucas. The author gives you mini-flash-backs of what happened to Lucas’ past. I know, I usually cringe at flash backs, but they were REALLY good and you get the sense Lucas has dealt with bad stuff and he’s trying to move forward.

Ava is coping to the best she can, but it’s hard. She starts to drink and hide her feelings from her family. I’m not usually a fan of alcohol or drug abuse in books, but I get Ava’s pain. I really liked the parts where Lucas tries to save her, but he can’t even save his self. They battle it out a few times and I LOVE the tension.

Overall, it’s a great book, it’s not really biker book because Ava doesn’t really deal with the biker business, but I like the biker feel of the book. I also liked that Lucas was a cop, so he’s like the bad outsider of the story. It added a lot of tension between Jackson and Lucas. It was very alpha and very cute to read.

If you like the MC Sinner’s series, you will not be disappointed with this one.

I haven’t read a lot of Bella’s books but the ones I have I’ve truly enjoyed and this one was no exception.

Pandemonium is the spinoff series of the MC Sinners. We get a little recap of those characters and their kids which are now staring in this “Next Generation MC sinners” series.

I was kinda surprised how emotional it was both MC went through difficult times, especially the H that really was heartbreaking. Even the flashbacks were brilliant it was done in a way that it made so much sense it made their connection strong and believable. The short chapters made it fast paced, with dual POV, some action, and of course with a whole MC of alpha’s including the very sexy and protective H.

A thrilling an emotional ride. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending felt a bit rushed and I was annoyed at how easily the bad guy got away with his evilness. I felt like the whole MC let down their guard on that aspect. Other than that I enjoyed and I’ll definitely keep going with this series. ♥️

ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.

I love this author's work and I had so much fun reading this one! What really drew me in was how smoothly the story flowed. I did not get bored and I had to turn the page because the book was so easily read! I love it when that happens and I don't have to struggle to continue.
The book had the right amount of passion, drama and adventure.
Ava is the daughter of a powerful biker. Her father is the president of Sinners MC and he adores her.
One day her world as she knows it is turned upside down. One of her father's enemies captures her and during her short captivity she is witness to a heinous crime that fills her with guilt.
When she is set free, she is a changed woman. Her awful experience haunts her and she has trouble carrying on with her life. She pushes everyone away, never daring to speak of what really happened.
Detective Lucas Black is a man trying to piece his life back up. After the loss of his family he focuses on his job but when he meets a terrified Ava, his plans to remain distant from others cannot possibly work. Ava finds solace in him and she makes him feel alive in return. But she is young and slightly broken and he is destroyed from his past. Can these two ever be happy together?
I loved Lucas. He is a fantastic hero and so strong. He really did not drown from all the loss he's had to endure. I love how determined he was to help Ava.
Ava is a young and lovable character, but I really wanted to shake her. She turned to find solace in destructive means while she pushed her family away. I think that's what went wrong with her for me. I think she really needed to speak to her loved ones in order to heal and I found her decision not to do that reckless and weak.
As a couple they rocked! Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved seeing them together.
I also loved the other MC members. The ending seemed a bit rushed when compared to the rest of the book, but I enjoyed the outcome.
If you want a story that bursts with hope and love, then this is for you. Do not miss it.

Overall, why just 4 stars?! I really enjoyed book, at least first 85 %. But after his wife Jennifer showed, thinks became a little bit awkward. She disappeared a year ago and nobody know where she went. It seems that she was in relationship with some drug lord Ricky, who also kidnapped Ava at the begin of the book, because he hates her father and wants him to suffer. Why he hates him? I did find the answer. That was also weird for me. Then Jennifer realize that Ricky is a horrible man. Well,duh??? He is a drug lord , his behavior wasn't actually angelic.

" 'You're right,' she says, fumbling with my cuffs. 'Lucas doesn't deserve this. I... didn't realize
what a monster Ricky was.'
'Is this a joke? I whisper, my heart racing. ' "

*Frowny face*

Was this really written by Bella? Is it a joke? I've read all her books and this seems like it was written by a totally different person. The story was awful. AWFUL compared to her other books. Almost every other chapter was a flashback so you basically have to read two stories at the same time for 80% of the book. The author never reveals the connection between the person who abducted her and her father's club. Or his connection with the other girl who was taken. I don't understand how Lucas and Ava fell in love suddenly. It made no sense. There was no romantic undertone, nothing meaningful. She's hysterical and depressed throughout the book and then suddenly, POOF! It's love? What the hell? And the dialogue was SO cliche! I kept waiting to read "You'll never take me alive, Copper!" It was so disappointing! I feel horrible writing a bad review for a book by an author whose books I've always enjoyed in the past, but I just can't get past it.

"Love has no boundaries."

I just loved the story. The books by Bella Jewel are generally good and this was obviously up to the expectations too. The title of the book sits correctly with the meaning of the word.
Ohhhhh!!! How much I loved Lucas *swoon*.
When I saw that another MC book has been published by the author I just couldn't stop myself from reading this awesome book.
I felt bad for Ava, the way her life took a tragic turn but adored Lucas, the way in which he helped Ava in dealing with her demons. How much I fell in love with Lucas... <3.

"And two broken pieces can make a whole."

Spoilers

This one was unfortunately just alright.. I avoid books where there is the death of children and its not written as though it happened in the past and we have to read about the grieving process, I think that may just be because I have a little one so I try to avoid such topics. Unfortunately, in this one the Hero's 4 year old dies.

Although I liked the Hero Lucas and heroine Ava I just didn't feel the love he had for her. He had been married twice and states that he had been in love both times, his first wife died during child birth and the second one went "missing" when she became addicted to drugs (after the death of his child). I didn't feel the love he had for the heroine was that unique, other then him mentioning at the end how hes never needed something the way he needs Ava, there was really no other mention of his love for Ava being different.

He states many times how his second wife was a good mother to his daughter and loved her as her own.

I personally don't mind when Hero has slept with OW prior to getting with the heroine but I'm not a fan of either Hero or heroine being deeply in love prior to meeting one another and in this book I think its pretty clear had Hero's first wife not died in child labour he would be with her or had his second wife not gotten addicted to drugs he would have been with her. So to me personally, the heroine did not feel special :(

Wow!! This book was short but intense!

The pacing was great. There were no dull moments and the story flowed smoothly. Despite the book being short, it was in no way rushed. It simply didn't read like a short book. I didn't feel like I was missing anything because every necessary detail was given without making the narrative choppy.

I really liked how Lucas's past was explained through flashbacks in his POV and how the author let his perspective catch up to the present timeline. It definitely showed this character's growth and depth.

Lucas seemed to have a hero complex but I liked it and felt that it worked here. I loved the way his relationship with Ava developed. They were two broken pieces that made one soul and their tragedy that occurred in their lives made their story beautiful.

There isn't much action, but this story does tackle issues such as loss, grief, addiction, healing, hope, friendship and love with a little crime mixed in to give it some flavour.

I was disappointed with the ending. I wanted more of a true feel for their future than what I found in the epilogue.

This was an excellent start to Bella Jewel's new series.

Two strangers. Two broken individuals. Two Hearts. One love. Pandemonium by Bella Jewel is not your typical raw gritty MC romance but instead it carries more of an emotional undertone of brokenness. In this story, Bella Jewel douses her readers on two broken people who are dealing with their own guilt and inner turmoil.

 photo b9c1d7be77fce412785bfde2b01df9_zps9mi4cxd1.gif “I want you surrounding me. I want everything you can give because you’re the only person who understands me.”

Ava is the daughter of the MC President. She is the precious baby of a ferocious and strong leader. Her life was perfect. She has two loving parents, an older sister whom she loved fiercely, and friends whom she considered as family. There is nothing in her life she would change. But that all changed when Ava's life was ripped right out under from her. Destroyed in an instant when she was kidnapped and was threaten by one of her father's enemies. And Ava had to make a choice that will forever haunt her.

So when Ava meets Detective Lucas Black, she instantly felt safe around this man. He comforted her and showed her strength. He was the light in her darkness. As Ava begins to spend more time with Lucas, she learns of his past and the darkest moment in his life. He too was broken. And together, Ava and Lucas were able to piece back the broken pieces in their lives and make it whole. But what happens when Ava's kidnappers come back? How will Lucas react when he finds out Ava is taken...will pandemonium occur?

While I enjoyed Pandemonium, I just felt the connection of Ava and Lucas was so abrupt and happened so quickly. I love the idea of two broken people finding love, hope and second chances within one another but for Ava and Lucas, I felt it was so sudden for the I LOVE YOU's. I just wished the author went into depth with the story of Ava and Lucas a bit more since I found their bond was palpable but wasn't fully elaborated. Overall, Pandemonium is an enjoyable read that was able to weave danger, suspense, raw emotions, love, and second chances. So if you are ready to get lost in the pandemonium of Lucas and Ava, then I would suggest you give this book a try.

Reread 2/11/2020

After my reread I decided to up my rating to 5 stars. I still loved Ava and Lucas but what really gets me is the relationship between the kids of the MC and their parents. My biggest pet peeve about Next Generations is when the author decides to have the kids be totally messed up. It's almost like the couples we loved turned into crappy parents. These books are so far from that, the original members adore their kids and show it all the time. Moving on to reread the next two.

Original Review 3/13/2019

4.5 stars

It's been a long time since I read my last Bella Jewel book. I remember seeing this spin off series but I never got around to reading it. I'm so glad I picked it up because I loved it. This new series is about the kids of the couple from Hell’s Knights and Jokers' Wrath. Pandemonium is Ava's story and she is Jackson's daughter. Ava and the rest of the kids are all in their early twenties. I loved their connection with each other and their parents. It was awesome seeing my favorite couples. So basically Ava is kidnapped and tortured to hurt her dad, when she is released a cop finds her. Lucas is a broken cop, he lost his daughter to a tragic accident and his wife is missing. Lucas and Ava were great together, their chemistry was hot and I loved watching them both heal. Of course Lucas has crossed paths with Jackson so you can imagine the scene when he finds his baby girl with a cop. There was one moment towards the end that they all were TSTL but I let it slide and it didn't take away my enjoyment of the story. I'm already reading book 2.

Great book! Both H and h underwent so much that I felt deeply for them. Nobody could be strong after that, but both broken souls healed each other. They may come from different backgrounds, but love could conquer all. This was a story with depth, a little dark, but also with a variety of love.

No club whores or sharing women in this book. Not the typical MC books. What a bonus.

⭐️ 3.5 Stars ⭐️

I have literally just finished this and I must say that I am disappointed.

This book to me, just didn't have the usual pizazz that usual Bella books have, i found the writing and the whole storyline predictable and pretty cliche.

Ok so yeah, I felt this fell short of the mark, I didn't understand Ava's actions and she kinda bugged me if im honest - yeah she went through some bad but not terrible so her whole woe me act was pretty dull. Lucas was swoonworthy, even after everything he has been through he was still a top dude, I just preferred we had his story before rather then alternating.

Yeah, pretty disappointing really :(

I loved the original MC Sinners series so I was super excited to find out that there would be a new series about the kids. Going into this book I knew it would be emotional and let me tell you, it was that and more. My heart ached for what both Ava and Lucas went through. I wanted to fix them and let them know everything would be okay.

Ava is the daughter of an MC President. She grew up in an environment where there was always someone there to keep her safe. Though now that she's out on her own, they aren’t always there, and what happens in a moment changes her forever. She becomes broken and she doesn’t know how she will ever be the same.

“This man seems dangerous, a little scary, and completely broken. He’s the kind of broken that runs deep.”

Lucas, oh Lucas. My heart broke for him. From his first chapter I knew that things weren’t going to go well for him. I wanted to close my eyes and hope everything was going to be fine, but it wasn’t. He became broken, too.

“I think it’s highly possible that Lucas is the most broken person I’ve ever met in my life. And I don’t even know him.”

Lucas is the one who finds Ava on the street after everything happens. He’s a detective so he takes her to the station and tries to help. From then on Lucas couldn’t get her out of his head and kept coming back even when it had nothing to do with the case, but everything to do with her.

“Little do I know she’s going to change my entire life.”

Ava finds it hard to deal with what happened. I really wanted to just shake her and make her talk to someone about what really happened, and not just tell them the watered down version and that she is fine. Because she wasn’t fine, dammit. But Lucas sees that she isn’t and he tries to get her to open up and let it out so she can try to heal.

“He understands. He understands something nobody else does. I just don’t know what it is.”

These two were both so broken, but because of that, they were able to come together and help each other heal. They became close despite the barriers between them—her being an MC kid and him being a detective. They would usually be on opposite sides, but they couldn’t help be drawn to each other.

“I’m broken,” I whisper. “And two broken pieces can make a whole, kid. Remember that.”

This book made me cry, but in the end, it also made me smile. I loved that even though Lucas was broken himself, it didn’t stop him from trying to put Ava back together. There are some things on Lucas’ end that made me wonder WTF? but even then I still knew he was a good guy who just had trouble letting go. Towards the end there were some things that surprised me and I was like, whaaaaat?

All in all, I loved this book and the emotion it brought out of me. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series! ~ Leah, 5 stars

~~~
Oh the feels! This is my attempt to put into words how I really feel about Pandemonium
"He’s the kind of broken that runs deep. I can tell that just by looking into his eyes."
—YES!!! Why am I so happy about this? I’m not happy because of a broken man, or because of suffering, but because this is the first time in this book that I cried. This was the moment that it all became so much for me. I’ve always heard the saying ‘the eyes are the windows to the soul’ and in this instance Bella’s words were so perfect and so profound, I just stopped and tried to catch the tears sliding down my cheeks. But to no avail, they just kept running.
Ava is the daughter of Jackson, a MC Club president. She’s young and beautiful and finally leaving the nest and stepping out on her own. She has a job and an apartment, and she is spreading her wings. Until the unthinkable happens...
Lucas Black finds her broken and crying on a sidewalk one night. Their lives are forever changed. This isn’t a simple story of love, but a story of LOVE, overcoming tragedy, brokenness and more. Bella Jewel has woven a real life tale of a dark and dangerous life and learning to live again. My heart broke, tears flowed, I laughed, I loved, and I was put back together, forever believing in the power of love.
For anyone who has ever been to hell and back they will understand the power of this…
“Today, it’s hard. Today is pushing all my limits. That would be because last night I learned that the alcohol isn’t numbing it anymore—that I have to drink more and more to get to the place I need, and it’s not working like it was.”
This. Just this. The words are so powerful. I’m not a big drinker, but I think we’ve all been to that place at some point in our life. Whether it’s food, exercise, alcohol or anything else that helps us escape and numb the feelings. This rocked me to my core… because (fill in the blank) isn’t numbing it anymore. Wow!!
Pandemonium is anything but typical. It’s love at its core. It’s dark and dirty. It’s fighting for our lives at every step. It’s saying YES, I want to live, even when giving up is so much easier. It’s seeing a bright spot in life and reaching out to touch it when the world around you is going dark! It is so much more than a motorcycle club book! It is pure Pandemonium! ~ Heather, 5 stars
It's here!!!!! The next generation of the SINNERS MC!!! I've been so looking forward to this book and it did not disappoint!
This first book in the series is about Ava, Jackson and Serenity's daughter. What I absolutely loved about this book, as well as the story of Ava and Lucas, was getting to see some of my favourite characters 20 plus years down the line. The kids of Addi and Cade, Spike and Ciara and Muff and Janine. It was great to see where their stories went after that series was over, a total treat because it's something we all crave when a series we love comes to an end.
This book had me hooked from the get go, had me up til 4:30 in the morning until I literally couldn't keep my eyes open, I absolutely loved it!! The best book I've read so far this year!
The premise is enough to have you itching to get hold of this, you remember Jackson and how protective he was? Well, consider what would happen when his youngest daughter finally becomes interested in a guy. Yeah, the poop hits the fan. Now consider what would happen if said guy was a cop? Yep, you've guessed it, it ain't pretty. But on top of all that when the MC drama that Jackson has worked so hard not to touch his family affects his baby girl in the worst way, well, let's just say you get some bada$$ bikers and a broody cop on the war path out for blood.
I loved the way this was written, it's dual POV but Ava's chapters are written in the present and for the most part Lucas' are written in the past. It's confusing at first as you wonder how the story is going to get from point A to point B but it all comes together and that just has you racing through the pages to find out what happened in the past to get us to where we are in the present.
I don't really need to say any more, if you've read the MC Sinners series then this is a no-brainer for you, you'll definitely want to pick this up. And if you haven't, where the hell have been? This is a must-read series, no excuses!
