I was introduced to this book via a school assignment. It takes up serious problems teenagers face daily. The need to be 'cool', and the dependency on getting lots of likes and notifications on social media, in this case, Instagram. And how body pressure is also a struggle for boys, and that this obsession to look good can lead to training drugs, such as steroids.
We follow the protagonist, Torstein, who has it all. He has the body, the girlfriend, and the popularity. But he wants more, he wants to become the 'alfa male', and this does not come without some consequences.
This is not a book I'd read for pure enjoyment, but for opening my eyes and gaining information about some of the troubles boys, and girls, go through in the modern world.
