This is a novella, roughly triple the length of past Bubba stories. That means three times the pages, three times the fights, three times the off-color jokes, and three times the awesome!

Bubba, Skeeter, Amy and Joe are on vacation in New Orleans when everything goes sideways in the Big Easy and Bubba has to step in and save the day. Between beignets and hurricanes he has to deal with local constabulary, zombies, good vampires, bad vampires (who can tell the difference?), magical murders, a clothing-averse voodoo priest, and the sexy leather-clad Hunter for the Bayou territory.

Will Bubba hook up with the delicious Evangeline?

Will Amy shoot Bubba's boys off if he thinks about it?

Will Skeeter find love in the Crescent City?

Will there be more zombies shot, shattered and decapitated than any other Bubba story?

Lol written by the same author as Quincy Harker, and The Black Knight Chronicles, this is a romp on another wild side in Novella form. Bubba is a BIG man fully human but tasked with a monster killing job, with his F.B.I. Hot Agent girl friend and a tag along Priest and a tech wizard named Skeeter backing him up Bubba is in The Big Easy for a holiday, but the monsters have other plans for him when the Mistress of the City asks for his help to find and help her dispose of a rogue Vampire how can Bubba say no?? looking for this vamp becomes complicated when he also runs into zombies and a Voodoo Priest and all his naked followers....A Quick fun read Bubba just might get caught in a Moon over Bourbon Street if he's not careful...

What a hoot! The team is on vacation in NOLA and wind up on a mission to destroy a vampire magic user who is causing big problems. Lots of guns, knives, and more with some real unexpected twists. I loved it!
John Solo does a fine job narrating for Bubba.

Bubba and the gang are back and on a well earned vacation in New Orleans. However, nothing is ever easy or straightforward in Bubba's lifer and he is soon knee deep in Vampire's, Zombie's and Voodoo magic!!! Another good adventure, with Bubba on top form.

After the events of season two, Bubba and company decide to take a vacation. To New Orleans. A monster hunter vacationing in New Orleans, that isn't going to run into any problems whatsoever (sarcasm font). Not with zombies created by voodoo or vampires, because New Orleans never has issues with anything that needs Bubba's unique brand high-powered-gun communion.

Pass me a beer, because I got to watch this. Hey, why is Skeeter's phone in the beer? Oh, because the nice lady at the topless bar already got Uncle Joe's phone … stuffed where?

Truthfully when I started reading this series I thought I would hate it. I mean "Bubba" conjures up a certain image that is not flattering. Of course the author was counting on people thinking the same thing. Bubba however uses people's preconceived notions of a hillbilly redneck to his advantage. Add in Skeeter as his best friend and it just works. It gets corny and crass, but totally owns up to knowing they are skirting the line.

I own the collection "Wine, Women, & Song".
