Excellent book about the love and respect that Elvis & J. D. Sumner had for each other.
The two of them where extremely close friends. J. D. Would let a 14 year old boy in the back door at gospel music events so he could listen to the music . Sumner didn't even know the name of the boy and it turned out to be Elvis Presley. Elvis could talk to J.D. about personal things such as his marriage breaking up to Priscilla, and why it was happening. J.D. set him straight. Good luck trying to find this book. It's not an easy find!

I read this because I liked J. D. Sumner. Unfortunately, it's badly written and completely pointless.
