During anceint times people were enslaved to perform as gladiators or dancers for the elete. This idea of building humanzoos expanded and worsened over the decades. While we know about Ota Benga being put in the Bronnx Zoo as an African Pigmy "missing link" animal, this same type "display" was found around the world. This book is about the horrors of the human zoos including today's "hidden" zoos in what is politely call human trafficing. It is not a feel good book, but it is one that needss to be read.
