Good read
Wow where do I begin that Damn Darkie is the devil Seven is a idiot and Trish is pathetic I can't for the life of me figure out why Darkie is doing this bullshit. poor Milkshake hasn't caught a break since she was born now I stuck can't wait to see what happens next

Seven!
I love this book! Seven was a little crazy sometimes but he love him some Milkshake! I also like the way Six and Gucci love each other and I can't forget Major and Birdie....That Darkie is the Devil and is jealous of his brother relationship,I like Uncle Meestake I hope Bari tell Seven that his brother is behind everything!

Very good book, it felt really real.I hope to get part 2 soon.

Maybe it was just my copy but this one seemed to be missing a ton of information at times when you really needed it. Main ones; what was the grandfather and mother trying to tell her? What really happened with the father? Why did the sister turn on them and I thought the uncle was a crakhead or something? The stuff in Jamaica was off as well as Seven’s character and the deal with the daughter lookalike was off. She went from being raped to playing friends in no time like it didn’t happen but also turns around to befriend a stepmother who did all that to her? How was she able to get free from the mother and all of a sudden be able to live like she was emancipated? All this and I have to say I’m going to read the next one because in all it was an interesting story.

Really Good
I believe that this is the first book I've read from this Author but it won't be the last. I enjoyed this book the storyline flowed great and the characters were perfect. I don't know how i feel about Seven one minute I love him and the next I hate him. How can you love someone so much but yet hurt them. He needs help with his control and anger issues but other than that I know he truly loves Bari. Bari needs to stop being so naive. I love me some Gucci she is so blunt and takes no stuff from no one. I still hope that Darkie, Trish, Niecy and Bari's mom gets what's coming to them for all they put her through. I will be patiently waiting on the next installment to see if my Bari can finally get her happily ever after.

Damn family
Reading this book confirms that blood do not make you FAMILY.. The people who you look to for guidance, love, and protection be the main ones gunning for you behind the love of money. Bari has had a hard life because of her trifling mother and soon as she thinks it is going good one tragedy after another keeps coming. Seven steps in and he tries to protect her with all his heart and soul but when the enemy is closer than you think what can you do? About to read part 2 because I have to see where it all ends for Bari and Seven

Excellence at its finest!!!
I don't even know where to begin. This was absolute perfection from beginning to end. I went through the entire spectrum of emotions. One moment I was laughing, cursing, and the next I was crying. I can not wait until pt. 2. My hat is off to you Ms. Robinson. You were truly born for this.

Pretty good
Pretty good read except it got carried away. The characters were presented as either too immature or old beyond possibility. There was no closer about anything. A real fairytale.

Not impressed
I am really disappointed as this started off real strong. But soon , the plot was all over the place , unrealistic and just weird at some point .
