When the smoke clears Redds and the Kennedy Street Crew find themselves on the FBI's most wanted list. Redds turns out to be the last man standing as he goes on the run and tries to disappear out of the country. He creeps through Philly, Atlantic City, and Columbus, Ohio while a federal manhunt is right on his heels. His only partner in the world is Necci, his high school girlfriend. Together, Redds and Necci change their identities as they move through the underworld of the streets. They survive on love and street knowledge. When the feds finally close in lives are tore apart forever. The intensity turns up a thousand degrees when the wrath of the government comes down on Redd's and the Kennedy Street Crew. Indictments come down charging everything from RICO to the murder of law enforcement. The death penalty is thrown on the table. Redds' is driven by all that he stands for to Never Lay Down in the face of adversity.

The characters are always brought to life with Eyone. Excellent story that captures your full attention and takes you on a long journey. You will hold your breath, get anxious, yell, laugh and maybe even cry. Definitely a book worth adding to the classic collection

Doing time and not letting it do you
As usual Eyone Williams has written a novel that teaches as well as entertains. He has once again given you a lesson on penitentiary life, allowing the reader to learn about the law while piquing one's interest. Kudos to this master storyteller. He is not only a good writer, he knows how to keep the reader interested.

Talk about a book that's definitely a page turner!!! This is it! You have a man and his crew that gets caught up in the grips. Loyalty is tested and basically its do or die!

Never lay down
This book reminded me alot of the 80's in DC. While I don't support the life I understand it. When you have brilliant business men, mathematicians and marketing geniuses with out straight opportunities that talent is used in other ways. Glad to see a happy ending.
