***This is book 16 of the Brides of the Kindred series***

A warrior sworn to get his mate back or die trying
A woman under a curse which stole her love
Rone is determined to win back Kate’s heart
Even though he has been… Forgotten

Kate McMillan has a good life and a decent job working at a jewelry store but there’s something wrong. She also has a hole in her memory—a three year gap where she can’t remember a thing. Kate tries to tell herself she’s okay but she knows it isn’t true. Someone is hunting her—a huge man with glowing blue eyes is lingering on the edges of her vision. Every time Kate sees him her pulse races and fear grips her.

Rone is a Wulven Kindred—feared and shunned even by others of the Kindred race. For the Wulven carry a Beast inside them that will kill anyone unlucky enough to be near when it emerges. Only a female who has tamed a male Wulven’s Beast is immune from this danger. Rone once had such a mate—before she was snatched away.

For months he’s been searching for his missing bride but when he finally locates Kate, he finds that she has forgotten him completely. Not only that, but his mere presence engenders a panic response in the woman who once loved him. Their bond has been broken and Kate doesn’t know him. Worse, his Beast no longer acknowledges her as his mated female. Rone doesn’t blame Kate for thinking he is dangerous - he is and always will be unless she can tame his Beast.

But in order to tame the Beast, Kate must take a terrible risk… one that may end in her death. Will she be able to control her fear and face the danger that lives inside her mate or will Rone remain forever… Forgotten?

Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.

I was so much excited to see another book set in the Kindred world. What's even better is the fact that it features a couple who we met previously but they were torn apart by the vindictive Dark Kindred Two. Kate and Rone seemed so in sync with each other, a truly loved up couple and yet as Rone is a Wulven Kindred there was clearly quite a lot left for readers to discover. Now we fast forward six months to find that not only has Kate lost all her memories of Rone but she has been poisoned with something that causes her to feel tremendous bone chilling fear when Rone is near her. Rones hunger for his Mate is tearing him apart but seeing her crippled by panic attacks when near him brings this strong male to his knees. Their bond is broken but perhaps a journey to somewhere that specialises in couples therapy might help ? Although if they thought it would be easy then they are in for a beastly surprise!
I love the Brides of Kindred books with their sexy romances and wildly twisting stories. Every book is an adventure and this one is no exception. Ms Anderson picks up where the previous book Targeted left off as Kate had her memory tampered with and was transported away. I was very keen to learn more about the Wulven Kindred as they are a new offshoot with their own Beast within and as it turns out quite unique qualities as well! The author cleverly gives flashes of just what the vile Two is up to but in this book he is not the only danger the couple will face.
Yes there's clearly a lot more to come and I for one can't wait to read Switched when it's published. For now though this erotic story was such fun to read. Rone is so gentle with Kate as he woos her all over again. Kate struggles with her past but she's a fiesty heroine and capable of anything she sets her mind to. Yes it's sci fi with unusual technology but it's light and entertaining. I'm always astounded by how diverse the stories are , just so creative. If new to this series start with Claimed which was free last time I looked and enjoy the sexy ride this talented author always takes her readers on
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review

Main characters: Rone and Kate
Type of Kindred bonding: Wulven Kindred

Wulven Kindrens have the closest similarities to werewolves in the Kindren universe. Their planet in G'nera and there is a place called Howlund. There, they let their Beast free during the night of the two moon convergence. During the first change after they have joined with a female, they have to go to the Howlund together and she has to try to tame his Beast. The Beast will either breed her or feed from her and kill her.
Kate is the bride of a Wulven Kindred, Rone, but she will probably never try to tame his Beast for two main reasons: a) she has lost her memory during the events of the previous book and thus she does not remember Rone, his Beast, their joining or anything about the Kindred in general and b) she is so petite and fragile that Rone will never allow her to approach his powerful, mindless, instinct-driven Beast in case it harms her.
The story is basically the Beauty and the Beast. The only difference is that the prince is present and the Beast is hidden and it wants to come out and play with his little Beauty and do some naughty things to her. This is not an innocent story!

Regurgigated (Brides of the Kindred, #37)

For the diligent reader, allow me to introduce the very latest installment of this never-ending series. This is the abridged, “good parts” version.

Prologue
The sun seemed to cackle evilly over one of Tampa’s streets. It doesn’t matter which street, but Tampa is the entire universe in here so just imagine: Tampa. Street. Cars. But there was an evil atmosphere over the unassuming Tampa street, on which cars were driving busily. In a spaceship faraway – which space-ship, why the overused Fathership of course – sat a cackling madman with an original name (Quack, Drawr or maybe Three, take your pick), cackling away muddily. He was in merry spirits because he had devised a new, ingenious, original plan that in no way resembled that of his countless, nameless, cackling predecessors: he would punish the earth female with all his devilish might, this time for real, with the help of his assistant Douane, a real hunk. Douane’s hunkness made it immediately evident that he was being set up for a copy pasted alien erotica of his own, a fact that only the cackling madman was obvious too. And he didn’t care either! Soon, through punishing the little female, he would dominate the world, in a series of events that didn’t quite make sense.

Chapter 1

Grawr was restless in his suite. “Lights on”, he rumbled deeply. As a Metal Kindred, he was big, burly and rumbly like the other Kindred, only more big and more burly and more rumbly because this was volume 37 and one had to upgrade, you see. His bigness sometimes bothered him to the point of making walking and day-to-day tasks awkward because of the size of his monstrous shaft, which was approximately the size of a skyscraper, and just as hard.
It was the early morning and Grawr had just woken up from Metal dreaming, a crazy thing that only Metal Kindred do, which will be poorly explained in Chapter 14, when the main characters have a dramatic head-to-head and suck each others nipples for the very first time without wanting to. Anyhow, Grawr had a terrible feeling about a madly cackling figure in black and also received a message from the Goddess about a lush little earth female the madmen was looking for. When he saw her in his metal dream, Grawr could barely control his pulsing hard on as he imagined tasting her and touching her lush curves. Evidently she was the love of his life and he had to find her before the hard-on would keep him from passing through doors without getting stuck. She would smell like honey, he decided. My assfsfdgsdgsdfgl. Assdfdsgdfdtgnh (or the many other variations of the nickname) was what metal kindred called their lush beloveds. It translated approximately to “she with the lushly lush curves of lushness wrapped in honeyed pussy liqueur”, but thankfully enough the book never actually explains that.

Chapter 2

“And you are serious in saying that his package was bigger than a set of twelve donuts?” Natasha whispered with wide eyes while slurping her drink and being set up for her eventual alien abduction two books from now. Natasha’s past with men was a tragic one, as Whiney, our main character, will relay in a 5-page monologue about how she had terrible experiences with men and is therefore scared of big burly men with six packs and shafts the size of skyscrapers. I cut the monologue out for your benefit, as the denial over her “wet, dripping pussy honey” is quite as tedious as you imagine it to be.
“It really was!” Whiney emphasized with huge eyes and went on eating the 43rd sandwich of the day. She was a plus-size girl, of which she will remind the reader every other page. And while she is very confident about her size all her friends believe in her, undressing even in front of a mirror makes her steely confidence, well, less steely. Not everything in the book can be as steely as Grawr’s iron shaft!

Summary of chapter 3 – 15:
Whiney is found by Grawr while shopping for cakes and pastries. They immediately hit it off with a conversation about her weight, which will have spawn several more conversations about her lush beauty in further chapters. Grawr is completely in love with Whiney and licks the floor under her shoes and can’t wait to lick his way up to her lush pussy, but Whiney, being body confident, feels uncomfortable talking about sex or pussies or shafts and finds Grawr very invasive, which is probably why her traitorous body jumps at the idea of flying in his space ship to a far away planet in order to search for an important bottle of sirraaaah sirup for a reason that is lengthily relayed by the Smartass Kindred (a new kind!), who mated a small, lush, earth female of no particular name or interests in the previous book. When they arrive on the planet Zuna, which is inhabited by crazy lusty freaks, Whiney not only steps out of the craft with her left food first – a big no-no which Grawr was trying to explain to her on the way there but Whiney didn’t listen because she was busy being body-confident and convincing Grawr that his attraction to her was not real – but also whines about it. In the opinion of the viciously lusty clan leader Trabdura, the two must then perform oral sex in front of an audience of many lusty clan members, making Whiney uncomfortable and yet more whiney. Grawr, seeing the chance to save his asfsdfsadgserhgf and the day, steps in and demands to be skinned alive in Whiney’s stead, making her gasp but not protest. After skinning him completely, Whiney is left crying next to him and saying that she was so sorry those assholes did that to him, only because her aversion to having his mouth peck both her nipples and clit for less than a second would have been deeply traumatizing for her! Those lusty pigs!
Grawr smiles weakly but then goes on to rumble “Anything for you asdsdfsdgfdfhtd. The blue balls I am suffering through every day I cannot taste your delectable honey directly from the source is much worse than sacrificing my worthless skin for your lush behind!” Only imagine he never mentioned the blue balls. Aw, the gentleman.

Chapter 16

This chapter brought with it a dramatic turn of events. Grawr’s skinned body had made the body confident Whiney uncomfortable. Grawr understood completely when she left him bleeding out on the floor while she stayed on the bed in the other room trying to regain her body confidence and denying any sexual attraction she felt for the man. The next day, Grawr is kind of dead but magically still alive through his Metal Kindred prowess. He knows that only Whiney’s magical hoo-hah could save him now, but he couldn’t ask her for sex because a) her past, in which a boy called her fat in second grade, was deeply traumatizing and caused her to be body-confident (which is a kind way of saying she was too lazy to work out) and b) as ugly and worthless as he was now that he was skinned alive for her he couldn’t possibly expect a prize female like Whiney to ever love him.

Chapter 17-22

Grawr is depressed and dejected and after Whiney and him are forced at gun-point to do sexually deviant things that the body-confident lush female objected to loudly and whiningly for pages on end, making Grawr jump through one million hoops while still in his skinned state and giving him massive blue balls that made his skyscraper shaft look even bigger and angrier, Whiney is fed up with the situation and just can't get over her traumatic past.
Finally, Whiney decides to explore Zuna’s forbidden gardens that were expressly forbidden to her by three separate people, and gets shot at by a flesh eating spiderman plant. Grawr, having followed his stubborn female into the garden even though he was one of the people who warned her against going, at the last moment threw his skinned but burly and muscular frame between the body-confident Whiney and the poisonous grenade, dying valiantly and only after about 6 pages of loving dialogue.
Whiney, now having realized that she could be body-confident and still have sex, chooses this moment to declare her love. She enlists the help of the benevolent Goddess, who appears in a predictable deus ex machina in nearly every installment of the series. The Goddess tells Whiney what the reader knew long before: that only her magical hoo-hah can save the day. Shocked and body-confident, Whiney is torn. Should she let her traumatic past govern her actions? Or should she swallow the bitter pill of sleeping with a hot guy who made the grave mistake of falling for her? Eventually, and with no mean amount of pathetic monologue, Whiney decides that Grawr was worth the horrible sacrifice. While Whiney enjoys magical sex with his corpse, Grawr soon recovers and immediately transforms into his old, unskinned self, and thanks Whiney for gloriously saving his life even though he didn’t deserve it. They go on loving each other for ever and turning up into every other book to repeat wisoms about shafts, brothers, magical sex and body confidence, helping none of the forthcoming characters ever.

The epilogue then briefly and clumsily foreshadows Retarded, the final book of the series, and also wraps up the redundant storyline about the cackling madmen who didn't make any sense right to the end of the book.

Teeny tiny Kate (I believe if I remember correctly that she is described as being 4'9 which officially makes her a "little person" according to Little People of America. ) has lost her memory of the last three years of her life due to smelling some magical flowers in the prior book (Targeted). After this occurs she disappears leaving only her clothing behind but is found back in the states and begins to rebuild her life. The only problem is that she has forgotten that during those last three years, she was mated to a Wulven Kindred named Rone. Once Rone tracks her down, he discovers to his horror that their mating bond seems to have been erased and that they can no longer speak telepathically and as well, Kate is terrified of him and has panic attacks every time they touch. He has to somehow make her remember their bond. Except that she was never bonded to his beast side, since he was too afraid to show it to her for fear she would be hurt...this is another complication for the couple to overcome.

I liked that Rone's personality was a tad different than some of the other Kindred we've come to know in that he came across as an incredibly soft and gentle person, though his devotion to Kate was at times cringe inducing. He even mentions wanting to "worship" the Kate the way that he thinks she deserves, which about had me rolling my eyes out of my head. But I did like that he wasn't too pig-headed or overly stubborn. Kate was okay. She was not quite as wimpy as some of the other heroines, but like many of them she does have a NC sexual experience under her belt that has sexually repressed her, as well as scoliosis scars that embarass her to the point that she never shows her bare back to anyone. At this point, that kind of plotting really needs to be retired. It's getting ridiculously repetitive. I understand that rape happens a lot but not all survivors deal with it in the same way and there are other places she could go with that kind of thing if it's such a necessity to include it in the story (which lets be honest, it really isn't most of the time). The scoliosis stuff was just so damn childish to me. This is supposed to be a grown woman we're talking about here. The scene with the blindfold in the shower (because of the scars- she didn't want him to see them) was also a tad much for me, stupidity-wise- I mean really? Who does that? It's okay for him to feel her up just so long as he doesn't actually look at her? Some of these women act like they are five years old, in terms of their "this is okay but not that" type of approach to sex and their bodies, with zero common sense involved. Probably my biggest complaint this book.

The story as stupid as it was in some parts, was more romantic to me than other Kindred books, probably because of the prior built relationship that Rone was trying to help Kate remember. Of course there is a HEA and we are given a preview of the next book which sounds like it's going to be the E.A. version of Freaky Friday. I won't be reading that one. I will say that I'm curious how many more she is going to write, because I'm not sure where else she would (not could) be willing to take these stories without getting too repetitive. I guess we'll find out.

Sixteen books in and she still can't fucking spell or hire an editor. "Fine tooth comb?" It's fucking "fine-toothed comb," you nitwit. As in "comb possessing small teeth, close together." It's not a comb for your fine teeth. Gah. Words missing, wrong form used, complete nonsense. LMAO.

Nothing else is new, either. Same old "adversity and/or shared problems will bring you together" storyline. She even recast the couples getaway premise with a new sadist. Of course, sex cures all and a nauseatingly familiar villain won't go away, the lack of originality undoubtedly the result of dashing out too many series too quickly. Sadly, female erotica is so hard to come by that standards like actual wordcraft, the ability to spell, and a rudimentary grasp of the meaning of simple words and homonyms is apparently secondary to many libidinous readers. If I wasn't reading for free, I know I wouldn't bother. Clearly, my OCD has become almost a real problem where reading is concerned.

DNF...couldn't stand h, she got bitchy and defensive with H everytime she was uncomfortable and she was uncomfortable pretty much every other page...H was so patient and adoring too!
I wanted H to dump that woman and find himself someone much more deserving.

I loved the beginning and read the first 100 or so pages super fast. I feel like I need to pick up the next book now with that ending! (The only thing is that I was in the middle of another book when I started reading this one instead; I was halfway through the other one, and it's an ARC, so I should probably finish it first...) I'm excited to read what will happen.

The sex scenes in this book were more detailed & there were more sexual acts than in her most recent book, as of writing "Shared by the Monstrum", which I actually got in paperback!

ARC from author for honest review.
Oh, holy hotness! Evangeline has done it again! Not only has she given us a great story, but she has made us laugh, cry, sob, threaten murder… you know, just the average emotions that a great writer makes her readers go through in order to finish a story.
The first thing that we find out when we start this book is that Master Two is still at it with his captive crony Y. Master Two really needs to get a life or a hobby and leave these poor, hot Kindred alone!! I mean, yeah, he is the one who causes the trouble that we love to read about, but he has been causing them so much trouble for so long now that you cant help but feel bad for the Kindred. Ok, so once we see that Two is back to his nasty habits, we meet Kate and Rone. The mated couple that had the bond almost wiped due to Two being a… jerk.
As Rone searches for him mate, Kate, you can tell the amount of love and devotion that he has for her even though Kate had no memory of who he beloved husband is. When Rone and Kate have to take a trip to a couples therapy resort, we can see how far Rone is willing to go to protect Kate even if there is a chance of her not getting her memories back. With many more ups and downs that they have to go through before they can have their happily ever after, Rone and Kate complete them as the team that they once were and come out even stronger in the end! EA has done it again and I cant wait to read the next story, Switched!

Story was too long at 500+ pages, erotica works best when it is shorter. Very repetitive. I had high hopes for the couple in this book, after their side plot being the only good thing about the last book (I found the ANR aspect pretty icky, personal opinion YMMV). Unfortunately, the moment the spa was mentioned by commander exposition, sorry Sylvan, with an appearance by Sophia just to let us know she still exists. Then the story almost became a carbon copy of Cursed. Every book it seems, they're either at a spa or travelling to a remote planet to get the Mcguffin vine fruit and end up upsetting the natives with more forced sexy shenanigans. Can't complain, these books must be selling well with 24 books in the series and 20+ spin offs EA must be getting a nice retirement fund. It's a formula that works and with the exception of the books set on the female slave planet (books 7, 9 and 14) and book 15 (reasons above) I have sort of enjoyed these books in a strange way.

So why the one star? Well it would have two except for some despicable behaviour from one of the characters and no I'm not talking about the baddie. The H is a sort of werewolf alien who goes hairy and beastly every full moon. If his mate can take the beast they are truly bonded. H has fears that h will not be able to tame the beast so had never let her see him in his other form. They go to see his aunt who gives Kate a book on how to submit to the beast so you don't get raped or killed. Then follows a lovely piece of victim blaming. You see H has a cousin who didn't follow the instructions on the book and she got raped and disfigured! Now the aunt laments that she is no longer beautiful and no man will want her. What a shitty comment and so hypocritical of EA, who claims to support body positivity and overcoming abuse. Kate has scars and has been abused but that's ok! Because the abuser was a nasty human male and Kate has "good" scars that don't disfigure her face and therefore she is still beautiful. But H cousin deserves her attack and she has bad scars and has lost an eye because she was raped by a beast*. If EA was really into body positivity then I'd like to read about a heroine with a disfigurement finding love. Perhaps I'm reading too much into this but you can't say abuse is wrong and love your scars then say the exact opposite because it doesn't fit in with your alien species. So yeah a tolerable book was made unbearable due to this. I am aware of the other problems of the other books as well in case you were wondering, but I'm will mention them if/when I review them. Long story short, books 13, 14, 15 and this one have had something in them that I've found problematic.

Unfortunately, I have bought the next book (and can't get a refund) so I'll end up reading that but after that I think I'm done with this series.

*Another point, technically the sex with the kindred in beast from is not consensual on the man's behalf because he had no memory of doing it.

Sad for Y. Love Robe and Kate story. Great couple! This storyline reminded me of the movie, The Vow but more erotic. 🤧

I could guess what happen to Sylvan with his injury too. It is always nice when you start the next storyline at the end of each book. But i miss some of the other couples too, like Merrick, Kor and Rast. Why always just the women. How did Sylvan become the one male in all the books...what about Locke and Deep or Baird, and Xairn too🤷‍♀️

I agree the allfather was the best villain to date because he seems to last the longest and was truly thr meanest of them all.

I guess there are more than 3 to four types of Kindred. I need to update glossary for them😉

My proper rating is 4.5 stars.

I have developed an undeniable affection for this series, which initially led me to anticipate that it would lose momentum rather quickly. At first glance, the Kindred appeared somewhat restrictive in their diversity, considering only three types had been introduced. However, as I delved deeper, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a rich tapestry of variations among the Kindred and an expansive array of worlds waiting to be explored. This delightful breadth has kept me returning time after time to this enchanting universe populated with stunningly unique and captivating alien beings.

At the heart of the story is Kate McMillan, a woman who leads a seemingly ordinary life working at a charming jewelry store. Yet beneath the surface of her routine existence lies a troubling void—an unsettling three-year gap in her memories that she cannot fill. Though she attempts to convince herself that everything is fine, a nagging sense of unease tells her otherwise. A shadow looms over her, a formidable man with striking, glowing blue eyes who haunts her periphery. Each time Kate catches a glimpse of him, her heart races, and a chilling fear grips her, making it impossible to ignore the danger that seems to stalk her.

Enter Rone, a powerful Wulven Kindred whose very nature inspires fear and disdain—not only from humanity but also from fellow Kindred beings. The Wulven carry within them a feral Beast, fierce and uncontrollable, capable of wreaking havoc on anyone in close proximity when it is unleashed. Rone once possessed a cherished bond with a mate who was able to tame this primal aspect of him, but that connection was shattered when she was taken from him. For months, he has scoured the universe in search of his beloved bride, only to discover that she has vanished from his life and her heart, leaving no recollection of him.

When Rone finally finds Kate, he is confronted with a devastating reality—she does not recognize him. His mere presence sends her spiraling into panic, shattering the fragile remnants of their once-intimate bond. To complicate matters, his Beast no longer acknowledged her as his destined mate. Rone understands the fear that grips Kate; he is, after all, an embodiment of danger. Yet, amidst this tangled web of lost memories and broken connections, hope lingers. If Kate can muster the courage to confront her fears and embrace the peril lurking within her mate, she might be able to tame the Beast. But the stakes are high, and the path she must tread is fraught with peril—one that could ultimately lead to her demise. Will Kate conquer her trepidation and face the untamed heart of her mate, or will Rone remain forever... forgotten?

Interesting read!

When we first found out that Kate had lost her memories in the previous book, I was a little skeptical about how they were going to turn this into a book.

Rone is a Wulven Kndred, and Kate is a special Human with a gift called "The Knowing" When we first meet these two, they seem to be the literal meaning of opposites attract. Rone is quite tall, and Kate is quite small. He is very controlled, and Kate is very bossy and extroverted.

A stoke of unfortunate fate leaves them both on the brink of losing one another.

In this book, 6 months has passed since the previous book. Rone has been searching high and low for Kate, and Kate has been under his nose all along, on Earth.

Their bond is tested to the extreme, especially when Kate shows no memory of remembering Rone at all.

I especially loved how tender and heartbreaking this story was. Rone would do anything to get his Kate back. But Kate does not trust herself around the Kindred. She seems to have reverted back to being quite Timid. Parts of this story were quite tear-jerking. I especially found it hard when Rone was showing Kate memories, and thinking of the things they both did together. His hopeful face when he thought Kate was remembering. His selfless act to give up Kate because he thought his Beast had harmed Kate.

I am also particularly liking having extra chapters with other characters popping up again in the stories. Their fates are entwined and makes the plot much more interesting.

I do however have a couple of theories from this book:

* Sylvan was bitten by a Rhodent. I think this Rhodent was one of Two's spies.
* I am thinking the Rhodent was sent to get Sylvan's DNA for a particular reason.
* I am guessing that Two is either wanting to Clone Sylvan, which ties into Kate's prophesy about Sylvan having a Twin, or he is wanting to turn his own clone Y into a look-alike that looks like Sylvan.
* The next book will be about the said Switched Kindred that we are suddenly introduced to in this book
* Kate's visions are actually also warnings from the Kindred Goddess, the Mother of all Life

Cannot wait to get stuck into the next book!

Yes, this series is endless, it needs editing and each book is waaaaaaay too long.

But I enjoyed this one. Kate and Rone got togther in an earlier book. But last book she was poisoned by mistake and lost her memory. She ended up in Florida and was saved by a "childless cat lady" - how 2024 ;). She uses her Kindred translator bacteria to get herself a job in a jewelry store.

Meanwhile Rone had been looking for her everywhere. But when he finds her she's not only forgotten him but also was poisoned with a fear toxin so she's afraid of him. (Even more than the 4'9" size of her versus his, what, 7 feet tall? - this was a bit much)

Rone tries to get her healed. Meanwhile he's trying to hold back his 'beast" (he's a Wulven Kindred - sort of a werewolf shifter). They go to a spa and of course everything they are forced to do is sexual. And it doesn't get her memory back.

Meanwhile, Two is still trying to take over the Kindred and is orchestrating their reunion in the hopes Rone kills Kate. She ends up taming his beast, gets her memory back and Two has fully taken over his new protegee (now that X got away, he has Y and also a giant body, a la Iron Man).

Sure, it sounds dumb but in this world, this is one of the more enjoyable ones. If you love shifters, alien romance, amnesia, fated mates and especially long books (which I usually hate) you should try out this series.

I liked reading this book very much, I felt sad for Kate with a memory coming back in bits. I loved the idea of the breeding chair. I kept thinking of the swinging chair in sex in the city with Samantha, which I must watch again soon. I liked the characters in the book very much, I liked the last 6 chapters the most, I liked when they met the brides and the warriors kinder men. I like commder Sliven very much. I liked the sex sences very much. I can't wait to read more books by Evangeline soon.

I guess we did get to hear from Grandy again, but the issue with Two is getting out of control. He is losing it more and more, so desperate. Very suprised that the Kindred didnt go in and take all the tech that they could from the AllFather ship once it was tethered. Get rid of all that negativity. All the pregnancies are difficult to keep up with sometimes lol, but it's fun trying. Knew once the bond was complete that Rone and Kate were going to be parents and Rones aunt was right with what she said as well.

Another great book in this series!

Who would think that smelling a bouquet of flowers could steal 3 years of your life. This poor bonded couple end up going through more things than any of the other couples have had to go through. Luckily the Goddess is on their side, though it doesn't seem that way for most of the book. You will have to read to find out all of the things that they go through and what ends up happening.

My, oh my... Must be hard to forget the one you love and so frustrating to be the one who loves & remembers...
Still I think it worked out pretty well :)

As much as I love this very guilty pleasure series, some of the books are just OK. Unfortunately, this was one of them...kind of felt "been there, done that" in many ways. I shouldn't be surprised...how many ways can you make it essential to have sex in order to solve a problem?

I really enjoyed this book and I had very few places where I felt been there and read that about the storyline. Unfortunately with the spoilers at the end of the book I'm not sure I'll be excited about reading further along in the series.

So good!

I can’t get enough Brides of the Kindred, and this one provided such a unique perspective. It was so sad at times, but I loved getting to watch a bonded couple find their way back to each other.

She is a tiny petite woman and he is unbelievably tall. He is as sweet and protective as any kindred. Interesting idea about her forgetting their past and their journey despite her fear of him. Too bad he was a bit of a dick at the end but everything finished well.

This book was pretty good. I liked the concept but some of her stuff had already been used in the past. I don’t care though I’m already halfway through the next book 😂 I actually like Kate’s character in the other books way more versus her own.

Do not forget

Your heart might forget, but your heart always remembers and keeps your love safe and sound. These two had to travel back to their beginning to fix their heArts desire.

Excellent book. I am glad I spent money to buy this book. I will probably read all of the books in the series. This author is really good at weaving stories together. It doesnt feel fake at all, even though it is sci-fi.

The boom gets better as it goes. I really hate the whispering in the audiobooks and the way most of the chicks are sexually repressed and whiny about any kind of touch. I need more badass female leads.
