If you are an instructor and adopted this book for your course, please email ieeeproposals@wiley.com to get access to the additional instructor materials for this book.
This book provides little to no practical insight to the world on Information Security. The subjects are in no order that would allow a student learn in an organized manner. I have no idea how this book was endorsed by IEEE. If you are looking to pass the CISSP or any other security certifications stay far away from this book as the material is outdated and will add nothing to your security skill set. The only reason I have this book is because my university class requires it. The only reason my university class requires the book is because the author is a professor at my school. Luckily the author is not my professor and my professor took the liberty of adding modules to the course that provide textbook corrections so we don’t get anymore confused reading this excuse of a security book.
