Ted Vincent provides a history of the Jazz Age of the 1920s, explaining how the music produced interwove with the Black politics of the time. Concise and a good reference for anyone interested in the era, although I'd have liked to see more personal anecdotes to give an emotional 'feel' and sense of place for the era.
