We've been reading these books with 7-year old daughter, who just adores the ponies in these books. To a grownup the stories are a bit boring, but I appreciate the slow pace and possibility to reflect also the negative feelings in relationships between the girls.

Kuudes osa Sinttu- sarjaa. Tässä osassa käydään mummolassa leikkimässä heppaa ja osallistutaan näyttelyyn. Pidän edelleen tästä hyvän mielen sarjasta, mukavia sattumuksia ja tapahtumia, kevyttä ja sujuvaa kerrontaa. Heppatytöille ja entisille sellaisille. Kivat kuvat. Sarjan lukeminen jatkuu.

If you want something crazy cute about horses, well Shetland ponies to be fair, you should read these.

They're written for younger kids, just when you've figured out how to read. But they are still well written, and it's clear that the writer has great knowledge off how to deal with horses and how things work in a riding school. And the lead character is just the regular horse crazy kid, that can't think about anything but horses. And Sigge, a strong willed Shetland pony with gorgeous white fur.

Kiddo LOVES these, and we have committed ourselfs to read them all.

Sintut ovat pitäneet tasonsa hienosti sarjan edetessä! Elina on hyvinkin uskottava pieni ponityttö keppihevosineen hevosshampoineen kaikkineen, ja eteneminen ratsastusmaailmassa on mukavan hidasta. Realistinen ja opettavainenkin tallielämä koostuu ennen kaikkea yhdessäolosta ponien kanssa, vaikka kilpailuissa pistäydytäänkin. Pienehköä draamaa aiheuttaa tallityttöjen välillä jatkuvasti elävä kilpailu ja oman hoitohevosen puolustaminen pelkkiä harjaajia vastaan :).
