THAT COVER IS DARN HOT
This book was just about as perfect as you can get without being sticky sweet. The hero, being the fire Chief saves the heroine at 16 from a burning house which resulted in her losing all her family, except her horse of course.
This is Texas you can't allow a horse to die here,not even in a story. Kids, parents, its all good they can die, but a horse, Never.
Anyways, the hero forms an instant attachment to the heroine and the heroine to the hero. Seeing as she is too old to be in foster care and has no family left, the hero decides to take over the responsibility of the heroine via his parents. He then provides and protects her and tries to keep his distance (as he is very attracted to her). The heroine who has always worshiped him and loved him unconditionally since she was 16, waits until she is 18 to go after her man.
And does she go after him!
Now the hero, who loves her as well and stays faithful to her even if they are not together and they may never be according to him because of their age difference. He wants her to have a normal life and he believes she should go to college and date (but not really cause he freaks out when she even looks at another guy). She just wants her man and maybe a chance to ride her horse in some expos. She is a trick rider and tries to do some bull riding as well.
To get over the hero after he rejects her, she puts herself in a bachelorette auction for charity. The hero discovers this and moves to claim her before something bad happens. Now that's it for the plot spoilers the rest you will have to read.
The story was filled with ups and downs and the end was amazing.

I admired h's courage to pursue what she want, that is, H. She didn't care what people around them might think considering he was her guardian and their age difference.
However, I didn't admire H much, he pushed her away twice! Although he didn't do anything extreme to achieve it, I still thought h should not forgive him so easily. But I liked that he didn't sleep with anyone after he met h for the first time.
If you wanted to read a hot story about how a 18-year-old h went for the stubborn 36-year-old H of her dream, go for it!

Another hot romance in the Texas Firefigher series.I loved Logan and Jenna.
As with all Sable Hunter's books they is always plenty of action, humour and hot men and strong female characters.I loved how Jenna knew who
she wanted and went after Logan with single
minded determination.

Let me first give a warning. I love to read different type of books but I always told me self that I would not force myself to finish a book I didn't like. It's a good way for me to get turned off of reading. I know that from many years of being forced to read books that I didn't like when I was in school. Also, I promised that when I review books that I will give my honest review no matter how much I didn't like the subject of the book. So that being said...this book is one of those books.
Let's talk about the elephant in the room first. This book was not my cup of tea. Now I have read best friend dad stories fine. But this book just gave me a huge creep factor. I am sure it's because the main character Logan is in high power and he took a sixteen year old girl in his care as a foster daughter. But he has fallen in love with her outside a father daughter relationship. He fell in love with her like she was his lover. The girl fell in love with him as he was her lover. Of course nothing happened and the girl is now 18. This really turned up my ick factor. I was okay for awhile in the book but then it got so much after a scorching kiss that I could not continue. Now, this book has sat half read for a while on my kindle shelf. Every few weeks I would try it again but I could not finish this book. So let's talk a bit outside the plot of what I know.
The two main characters seem both rounded that it felt like you could know them (which might be the cause of me ickiness). Logan had faults and he did have a good heart when taking in this teen girl so she wasn't sent away. The girl is the same way. She has many faults like most teen girls do but also has some of her own strengths.
I am not going to say I recommend or don't recommend reading this book. Because I couldn't finish it and that is my own not of the book.

Insecure Logan
Man saves 16 year old from fire that kills her parents then gives her a place to live. He moves out and she moves in with his parents. She loves him from that day forward but she's too young for him. When she turns 18 he's convinced he's too old for her since he's 34. He proceeds to pull her in then push her away then pull her in then . . . She is steadfast in her love for him and acts way more mature than he does. I wanted to shake him and tell her to move on but the author does a good job of explaining his insecurities. Good thing for him she loves with her whole heart and is willing to let him in even after he's hurt her.

Abit long but definitely a good read.
Hero is 36 and the Guardian of 18 year old heroine who lost her parents to a fire. Hes the guardian on paper but his parents (live on the same ranch but separate houses) did the raising.
Logan (H) is hesitant to start anything with Jenna (h) because of the age gap but Jenna is persistent. It was nice to see her chase him but it wasn’t overdone. I hate when heroine or Hero chase and chase making them look desperate that thankfully wasn’t the case here.

I really did enjoy this book. That said there are a couple of things I took exception to (1) Oklahoma does not have Justice of the Peace and hasn't had for over 40 years, (2) no cowgirl or any horse person would go off and leave their horse after a tornado for someone else to pick up if a truck and trailer are available. Yeap, I live in OK. This is really a good series though and I'll be reading more of this author.

Another winner....
I would recommend this book and this author. It's a steamy read but the story line was very well written and I like everything this author has written.

Two years ago, Logan saved Jenna from her burning home. Her parents were both killed in the fire, now Jenna had no parents and is homeless. Logan talks to his parents if they would allow Jenna to come and live with them. Logan moved out of the main residence and into the Foreman's house when Jenna moved in on the advice of the social worker.

Logan Gray is that hero who also happens to be the chief, a handsome, sexy, man in his mid-thirties. The heroine in this book is Jenna, and at the time that we meet her she is sixteen, when Logan rescues her from her burning family home, a fire that killed her parents, and left Jenna totally alone. Something about the young Jenna pulls at Logan's heart and he brings her to his home, Grey Wolf Ranch, to grow up. And grow up she does, and on her eighteenth birthday, she already knows what she wants, but Logan doesn't agree. Jenna loves to ride in the rodeo, and Logan's mom has taught her how to trick-ride, she even tries her hand at bull- riding when Logan isn't watching. But what she wants is Logan, can she convince him that age is only a number, and that they have belonged to one another since they first met? Or will Logan and his bull-headed ways push her away one time too many?

'TEXAS C.H.A.O.S' (Chief Has Arrived On Scene) (Texas Heroes Book 2) by Sable Hunter is a fantastic read! This is an excellent addition to the Texas Heroes Series. I absolutely loved this story! I loved getting to know Logan and Jenna. This story is full of action, drama, loss, humor, passion, entertaining characters, and happy endings. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, and hot firefighters.

Logan and Jenna both knew the moment thier eyes met, that this connection he couldnt break. Jenna felt it as well. But logan tried everything he could to stay away, her age, failing her, losing her, what people would say. But in the end true soul mates they were from the start. Destiny brough them together, and pure love will keep them whole, as one, complete!!!!!? This was a beautiful, loving, sexy story and I can not wait to find out more

Absolutely loved this story. Sable made an older man with a young woman story believable, touching, funny and at times a hint of danger. I loved Logan, Jenna, his parents, and their friends. Sable, I hope Dixie finds her HEA. Oh yeah, not only is Logan every woman's dream. but Jenna is a strong woman that ranks up there with Libby, Dandi, Alliah, and Sami and Harper among your most unforgettable.

Find the One and Wait for the Perfect Time
Logan and Jenna have wanted each other and only each other since the day they met. Jenna was a child then, but isn't anymore. Logan has so many scruples, he hurts Jenna and himself because he cares so much.
I saved reading this book for a day when I needed to smile. It was worth the wait.

Perfect
Love the twists and turns in this perfect love story. Age has no bearings when you are sole mates. Sable Hunter has a way of getting you to feel as though you are part of the story and you need to help make things work out.
