This is the debut novel of Mayank Kashyap. It is a quick read , i could feel the emotions, the story is well written. The characterization is done well. The story revolves around the protagonist Virat .
This may not be an epic story but a story to laugh, feel loved, cry and get angry with.

In order to find yourself you have to push yourself beyond the forbidden lines and that too without any fear and doubts. The day when you find your true love, the day when you loose your virginity the day when you buy a car or a house are often considered the most important day of one's life but the most important day is when you find why you were born. The day when we'll start standing for others, the day when we'll start standing against wrong that day will itself be a revolution.

Hope you'll enjoy reading this book as much as I've enjoyed reading it.
I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Entertainer of the year.

OK I don't want to build a mountain. So, to be honest this may not be the best book of the year but certainly one of the best book of the year.

A quick read which make you feel different emotions, will make you sad and in the next page will force you to smile... From WTF! shockers to "How sweet" it has it all.

I can read this book again.

Blurb of the book will fill the reader with inquisitiveness and soon when the book commences with the two prologues, the reader will be more curious to read the insights of the book. The story which book carries is common and congruence to life events happening nowadays. But author has portrayed the story as light as rain making it a touchy story. All his efforts are oozing out from every page of the story and discharging the tale from his imaginations.

The title- “The Forbidden Line” is the best suited title for the story. The reader can smell the aroma of love, friendship, aggression and revenge in the book. A reader will find common events till chapter 11 and the twists will loosen up when he/she rides the reading voyage ahead. The first 60-70 pages in the book are running with a neutral pace leaving me inattentive. The book would take some time to gather the interest and heedfulness.

This book is a quick read. A rollercoaster ride of emotions, you can cry one moment and as you flip the page you're forced to smile on the next one.

The story has a good plot and is well written. The characterization is commendable. The book has so much to offer more than just romance. The message that - you have to push yourself beyond the forbidden lines without fears or doubts and find yourself and why you were brought into this world is a takeaway for the readers.

I recommend this book to everyone who wants to do something in life.
