Okay, I'll be honest: I didn't feel like following the instructions for this book. Instead I attempted to read straight through it, without looking up the Bible verses and meditating on them first, or looking at the questions. By the time I got to the end of the second chapter, and realized I wasn't getting ANYTHING out of this book, I had to stop, back up, and play by the rules.

The 22 daily readings from the Book of Colossians were quite good. Colossians is a book that I've read a few times through, and even underlined some points, but never really reflected upon. This book walks you through each of the verses, and explains the background and interpretations and applications for each. I'm fairly certain that without this book, Colossians would continue to be an epistle that would remain just that, a letter in the Bible that I didn't really focus on or see the real world applications of, at least for the time being. Thanks to the ERM series for sending out yet another eye-opening book! :)
