Christopher Jonathan James Nolan (born July 30, 1970) is a British-American film director, screenwriter and producer. He is known for writing and directing such critically acclaimed films as Memento (2000), the remake Insomnia (2002), the film adaptation The Prestige (2006), Inception (2010), and rebooting the Batman film franchise. The latter made him the second most commercially successful British director in recent years, behind David Yates. Nolan is the founder of the production company Syncopy Films.
He often collaborates with his wife, producer Emma Thomas, and his brother, screenwriter Jonathan Nolan, as well as cinematographer Wally Pfister, film editor Lee Smith, composers David Julyan and Hans Zimmer, special effects coordinator Chris Corbould, and actors Christian Bale and Michael Caine.
Nolan often casts the same actors in different films. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Russ Fega, Cillian Murphy and Larry Holden are among his more frequent acting collaborators.
Nolan's wife Emma Thomas has produced most of his films, with the exception of Memento and Insomnia. Lee Smith has been Nolan's editor since Batman Begins, with Dody Dorn editing Memento and Insomnia. Wally Pfister has served as cinematographer for all of Nolan's films starting with Memento. David Julyan composed music for Following, Memento, Insomnia, and The Prestige, while Hans Zimmer provided music for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Inception.

«تلقین» به کارگردانی کریستوفر نولان، اثری است که مرزهای واقعیت و خیال را در هم میشکند و مخاطب را به سفری پیچیده و ذهنسوز میبرد؛ سفری در لایههای ناخودآگاه و بازیهای ذهنی که هر لحظه در آن باید هوشیار بود تا از گمراهی نجات یافت. این فیلم، نه تنها داستانی درباره سرقت ایدهها و خاطرات است، بلکه کنکاشی عمیق در مفهوم واقعیت، حافظه و هویت انسانی به شمار میرود.
نولان در «تلقین» با نگاهی فلسفی و تکنیکی استادانه، ساختاری روایتگونه میسازد که هر قسمت از داستان همچون یک معماست؛ معمایی که تنها با پیگیری دقیق و تمرکز کامل، قطعات آن کنار هم چیده میشوند. این فرم پیچیده، به جای گیج کردن مخاطب، لذت کشف و رمزگشایی را به شدت افزایش میدهد و فیلم را به تجربهای متفاوت بدل میکند.
بازی بازیگران، به ویژه لئوناردو دیکاپریو در نقش دامینیک کاب، ترکیبی از شکنندگی، سردرگمی و عزم راسخ است که به عمق شخصیت و تعارضات درونی او جان میبخشد. فضاسازی تاریک و رازآلود فیلم همراه با موسیقی تأثیرگذار هانس زیمر، حس معلق بودن و تنش دائمی را تقویت میکند و تماشاگر را در دنیایی محصور میان خواب و بیداری غرق میکند.
«تلقین» پرسشهایی را درباره ماهیت واقعیت و قدرت ذهن بر جهان پیرامون مطرح میکند؛ سوالاتی که نه تنها در بطن داستان بلکه در ذهن تماشاگر نیز جریان مییابند. فیلم دعوتی است به تامل درباره خاطرات، تاثیرات آنها بر انتخابها و در نهایت، مفهوم آزادی در دنیایی که همه چیز ممکن است ساختگی باشد.
این اثر، از منظر بصری، تکنیکی و تماتیک، نمونهای برجسته از سینمای معاصر است که همچنان مخاطبان را به چالش میکشد و از دل پیچیدگیهای خود، لایههای تازهای از معنا و احساس بیرون میکشد؛ فیلمی که پس از هر بار دیدن، زوایای تازهای از آن آشکار میشود و ذهن را به بازی میگیرد.
