Cold Sweat
Mia and her good friend Yvette set out for euphoric fun evening on a Saturday night. Overwhelmingly, a hip-hop rap concert was underway at a Los Angeles nightspot, compelled to engage in the harmonic chamber of lyrics, they encountered a couple of guys whose motive was to delight them in a pleasurable affair. Consequently, one of the guys whose name was Adric became quite intrigued with Mia and pursued a relationship with her, falling madly in love and showering her with exquisite gifts. Caught up in the material world, they became quite inseparable but bewilderingly, Mia got a rude awakening when she witnessed Adric's eccentric and brutal behavior.

Born in the United States (May 13) Mother's day, a former resident of Houston, Texas, now a current East Texan. Married with three lovely daughters. In 1983 studied at the University of Saint Thomas in Computer Science Technology, Houston, Texas and since then developed a passion for Mystery/Suspense and poetry writing but her busy schedule hindered much required devotion to her penmanship.
In 2004, Debbie Lacy won 3rd place in her first poetry writing contest for the beautiful poem entitled "Black Essence", which was quite an inspiring accomplishment for the new writer.
In 2005, Debbie Lacy became even more inspired and began writing numerous of whimsical mystery ebook short stories, created, imaged designed and self-published by the writer. Her very first mystery was entitled "Bugs", shortly afterward "Dreams", "Faces", "Flight 117", "Indian Chief", "The Haunted Church" and "Weeds" just to name a few.
In 2008, Debbie Lacy won 2nd place in her first short story contest for her childhood fiction story entitled, "Little Dolls."
In 2013, Debbie Lacy won 1st place in the fun Mystery Sequel Contest - Writer's Haute-Wire Magazine for the most request for a sequel of her mystery ebook, "If I Could Be a Fly on the Wall."
Since 2010, Debbie Lacy has been applying a mixture of her skills in more realistic short story writing such as "I Should Have Killed You", "The Concealed Government", "Satellites in Orbit", "Not You!", "Elements of Love", "EGGS", "You Can't Hide From God" and "No Shade is Better Than the Other". She is currently holding as "Author of the Month" for the past several months on the website "Freestories.com", a reader's blog website for her many poems and short stories. Remarkably, she is advancing in her marketable success accumulating great reviews from readers and fans all around the world.

I truly love this book and the ending definitely blow up mine mind- it was truly unexpected.
Now my thoughts because the FMC is definitely a dumb b* -
This book- are you fucking kidding me she understood how much Toxic her relationship was with her husband acte having two FUCKING KIDS ma'am are you stupid she left everything literally she gave up her house career studies
bestfriend mother every fucking thing for a man who was a drug addicted and used to do drug dealing, child trafficking and many shady things thou she wasn't aware of those but she was so love bombed that she never asked him how he can afford such luxuryness without having a proper job he used to hit her still she haven't left he hit her while she was preggy gurl have some common sense but for her him and his cock was more important bullshit and what this man do- nothing (even though in the book it was mention that he has earned everything like a huge amount of money and brought them a house for his wife and his son and also give her everything she wanted like expensive jewellery and designer dresses) he is was a complete psyco all this time he has been stealing things and gifting her..wtf i wont say more because if I do that will be a spoiler so go and FUCKING READ THIS
