If you’ve read Ignite by Tessa Teevan, you already know and love Jeremy and Sierra. They were two of my favorite characters in that book. Going into Fusion, you know that Jeremy and Sierra have been together a long time, they’re happy and in love, and that they’ve been best friends since they’ve been kids. Let me tell you, there isn’t much I love more in a book than a good friends to lovers story and this is one of the best! Getting to see two characters you already know and love grow up together and fall in love- it was wonderful!
You already know the destination. Don’t you want to come along for the ride?

 photo 4C8C7EC2-52CE-4FBE-960B-5DC8A2D341B1_zpsfj8ah4ip.jpg

A young Jeremy Banks meets little 8 year old Sierra Sullivan and it’s best friends at first sight. They have TMNT to thank for that. From children, to teenagers, this couple is the very best of friends and always have each others backs. As they become teens, both start to develop feelings for the other. I can imagine it’s not easy becoming attracted and falling in love with your best friend. What if it’s not mutual? What if you tell them, they don’t feel the same and everything changes? It’s scary for both Jeremy and Sierra. The lines have blurred between friends and more than friends and neither know how to bring it up…
I had no idea when the lines between friendship and love had blurred.

 photo 5EB9CF6E-356B-44DA-9250-FDC515276B54_zpsubop4n8s.jpg

It’s hard to say what my favorite thing was about this book- I loved it all. The beginning when they were kids, I especially loved the middle when they were trying to figure it out and the love was fresh and new. The last part was also great when you got to see them happy and in love. Don’t get me wrong, their relationship isn’t perfect. They go through their fair share of issues and heartbreak. But they have each other through it all.

Jeremy Banks is a favorite of Tessa’s Explosive men. He is by far the most hilarious, and he is so devoted to his girl. I loved how funny this story was, the friendship to love and the romance. I laughed, I cried and I swooned. I’ve read about all of Tessa’s books and this was her strongest writing to date. For fans of the Explosive series, this is one you won’t want to miss out on!

Ever since reading IGNITE, I've always wanted to get Jeremy and Sierra's complete story. Although they were secondary characters, they along with their daughter, Ava, always touched my heart. I can say after having read this book, that it is well worth the wait. And I dare say that Jeremy is my new favorite book boyfriend in this series. He may not be an alpha male but, Jeremy is definitely a man most women dream of spending the rest of their lives with.

Sierra and Jeremy met when they were just eight years old, when her family moved into the house next door to him. From the moment they meet there was an instant connection. They became best friends who were inseparable.

This was such a sweet and steamy friends to lovers story. Although it is clear from the get go that these two fell in love at first sight, it was more of a puppy love that grew into something so beautiful and that was sure to stand the test of time.

 photo 9a1164e9f34630b8d1d136d9a158bbaa_zps61ihklun.jpg

There is very little angst because Jeremy and Sierra are two normal people who don't really play head games. Usually I crave the angst but the fact that there was only a minimal amount just seemed appropriate for their story. They were just one of the lucky ones who got to meet their soul mate at such an early age.

We do get a lot of Lexi and Jace towards the end but I had already read their book and knew what happens for them. It was nice to have them in the story but mainly I loved getting to spend time with the sweet couple who prove that being comfortable with your partner doesn't mean that the relationship lacks steam. They had that in spades!!

I loved how Jeremy would do anything to protect their love. He is definitely the best hero Tessa has created by far!! It was wonderful to get to see their love blossom and their family grow. I love little Ava, and hope that some day she gets her own book. The ending was absolutely perfect. It left me very satisfied with how it all ends up for Jeremy and Sierra.

If you haven't read the Explosive series, it is definitely one that you should add to your TBRs.

FUSION IS LIVE ON AMAZON!! http://amzn.to/1HcCZgy

Official Release: October 30

Excerpt #1

The day Sierra Sullivan came running down the sand in her cartoon t-shirt and high ponytail was the day my whole life changed.

Sure, it’d only been eight years long, but hey, those were some good eight years. Little did I know, that the next eight, and the next eight, and the next eight would be even better. Don’t mind my math.

Anyways, it happened on a Thursday. That little tidbit may seem insignificant, but that’s the point. I remember every single little detail with vivid clarity as if it were yesterday. The summer when I was eight years old, I met the girl I was going to spend my life with. Did I know it at the time? Of course not. I was eight. I had no idea my life was about to change. It’s not like there was an explosion of fireworks or sparks the first time our fingers touched. We were just kids, but even at such a young age, one look at the pretty little blonde next door, and I knew she was something special.

Don’t ask me how. I just did. If I’d have known what was going to come our way, I’d have kissed her right then and there. But like most young boys kisses were gross—until they weren’t. So I declared us the best of friends—until that was no longer enough. Until the thought of another day going by without her knowing how much I loved her was no longer an option.

You may think you know our story. And in truth, you probably do. Boy meets girl. Boy chases girl. Boy and girl both like Michaelangelo—the turtle, not the painter--, Michael Jordan, and have a fear of sharks. Boy declares girl is his best friend. For years, boy and girl stay friends until girl grows boobs and boy grows…well, you know.

Boy loves girl. Boy nearly loses girl. Boy goes to the ends of the earth—or in our case, Ohio—to keep the girl. Boy marries girl, and they live happily ever after.

The end.

Sounds like a completely ordinary story, right? Well, that’s because it is.

But those little snippets are only the tip of the iceberg.

Sierra and I have had our share of laughs—more than the average couple, I presume. We’ve also had our share of tears. Surprising, right? To me, too. But the truth is, for all the light that’s shone on our relationship, there’s been dark. It hasn’t been plentiful—thank God—but just enough to where we weren’t sure we’d come out on the other side of the tunnel intact.

How did we?

Stick around and find out. I’m about to give you every gory, hysterical, down and dirty detail. Okay, so maybe not the dirty stuff.

Then again…

This series by Tessa Teevan is one of my favorites and as one of my favorite authors I am up for whatever she wants to deliver, but I wasn’t sure how this story would go. We all know Jeremy and Sierra, we know they have been together since before forever and that they are the perfect couple. I assumed there was only two ways this story could go, it could be boring and repetitive or have unnecessary drama that made me crazy. Well, I was absolutely WRONG, because this story is original, complete and beautifully written.

"You already know the destination. Don’t you want to come along for the ride?”

Jeremy and Sierra met when they were eight years old. It wasn’t love at first sight, but it was definitely friendship at first sight. Sierra was unlike any girl Jeremy had ever met and he was immediately drawn to the girl who loved Michelangelo and wasn’t afraid to get dirty. Sierra was new and just happy to have a best friend who was so much like her.

Throughout the story we get to see how things changed as Jeremy and Sierra grew up. This is honestly the part that I thought I would lose my mind. I am not a huge fan of angst and I just knew my heart would be broken. My worry was for not, because Jeremy and Sierra always stayed true to their character. Yes, they were more immature, but they were still them, just younger.

I have read all of the Tessa’s books and her writing keeps getting better and better. This story was beautifully written and had me feeling everything. Jeremy and Sierra’s bond feels real to me, their unconditional love and friendship feels real, honestly after all these books they feel real to me.

I couldn’t be happier with Jeremy and Sierra’s story. I loved seeing how their friendship turned to love, but really loved seeing how they grew and handled adversity. I dare say Jeremy and Sierra are one of my favorite of her couples, which says a lot because I love them all. It also had me dying to read Ignite again after seeing Jace and Lexi’s bond in high school.

Our love, without a shadow of a doubt, was the best thing that ever happened to me.

4.25 First Love Stars

The day Sierra Sullivan came running down the sand in her cartoon T-shirt and high ponytail was the day my whole life changed.

Fusion is the story of a couple I never thought would get their time to shine. Sierra and Jeremy were a big part of Lexi and Jase's story but I always viewed them as the fun but solid couple who added to little sis Lexi's book. Sometimes being wrong is a good thing, though and I'm psyched as hell they got their own book.

Hooray for young love at first sight! In the most adorable meet-cute in the history of ever, Sierra Sullivan and Jeremy Banks, fellow eight year olds and next door neighbors, form an unbreakable bond over their mutual love of TMNT's Michelangelo and a fear of sharks. When you're eight that's the stuff that really makes a difference, right?

As the teen years hit and boobs are grown and inside jokes about strokin' it become a reality, both Jeremy and Sierra start to notice what's been right in front of them all along.

“I don’t want to dance around this anymore . Kiss and then have everything be awkward while we try to make each other jealous when all we want is each other. I’ll pine for you if you make me. I’ll fight dirty if I have to. But, God …please don’t make me. You’re my best friend, Sierra. But my feelings for you run so much deeper than that. Tell me… tell me you feel this, too.”

Sierra and Jeremy:The Teen Years hit close to home for me in a way that brings back some pretty sweet memories now but managed to gut me a little as a teen. Damn the angst! Even though I'm long past that time now, I whole heartedly related to both Jeremy and Sierra. Putting yourself out there when a friendship's on the line takes a serious set. Hats off to both characters for pulling up their big girl panties and going for it. Eventually.

Sierra Sullivan. My best friend. My first kiss. If I had my way, my first and last everything. And all that came between.

Jeremy and Sierra were just awesome and the biggest compliment I can give is to say I'd love to grab a drink with their real life counterparts. You know, if book characters came to life and stuff. The dialogue, which has been making or breaking books for me lately, did not disappoint and for that I'm giving a big shout out. The characters remained true to their original selves and no dick maneuvers were thrown in just for the hell of it.

The book's separated into two parts and while I enjoyed both the teen and the adult sections, the story began to drag a little for me towards the middle and again towards the end. Don't get me wrong, it's all good but I wouldn't have minded a little something else to help move it along.

Though Fusion spends a whole lot of time delving into the teenaged Sierra and Jeremy, I can't imagine anyone who had that special person in their lives and was faced with a fork in the road decision not relating to this. The "should I tell them how I feel" question has come up for most of us and for me it brought back some truly beautiful memories. Kudos to that! As an added bonus little Ava's getting her own book. Given her righteousness as a sassy little girl, a grown up Ava story should be pretty sweet.

4.25 "Where you go, I go" STARS

Sierra and Jeremy's story - finally!! This was oh so sweet. If you've read this series, you'll know that they get their HEA but it was just awesome to live their history, their childhood together and how they came to be the great couple that they are today.

 photo image.jpg1_zpszlijuoku.jpg

From the instant Jeremy and Sierra met at the young age of 8, there was a connection. They became best friends...

As they grow from children into adolescents, it was so much fun to see how they changed and realized their feelings had grown from more than friends. Some of this was frustrating, filled with teen angst and oh so funny...

And I loved Jeremy and his devotion for Sierra. While Jeremy and Sierra are meant to be, they did have their challenges and it was great to go on the journey with them!

"Sierra Sullivan. My best friend. My first kiss. If I had my way, my first and last everything. And all that came between."

5 PARTY LIKE IT'S 1999 STARS!

Sometimes it is ok to read a love story that exists because two people who truly belonged together fell in love. Sometimes it is ok to read a story full of all the good feels that come with finding a forever love. Sometimes, angst and drama are not needed. Tessa Teevan delivered plenty of the aforementioned with her Explosive Series. Finally, she gives the sweet and the fabulous love story that dreams are made up…Now she gives us FUSION!

Jeremy and Sierra (Sullivan) Banks have been solid. If you have read Ignite, then you are no stranger to their love and the ease of their relationship. The joy of Fusion, is finally going back and getting the journey to their life together and realizing that it was them who set the precedent for the series to follow!

 photo PhotoGrid_1446396246827_zpsoamlp3rz.jpg

With a bouncing blonde pony-tale and TMNT lingo, Sierra Sullivan stole Jeremy Banks’s heart in the sand at the ripe old age of 8! Every day of their lives were inseparable, every moment of growing up was experienced together. It was a true love at first sight that endured the tests of time through adolescence. They watched their bodies change, they felt their hormones rage and they endured the attention of all others…hell, they survived High School!

 photo PhotoGrid_1446396641633_zpssml8ligc.jpg

LORD! I loved this. So many feels were brought back as Sierra and Jeremy held onto their friendship like the Holy Grail. I felt each forehead kiss and broke a little with each wish that it was more. I held my breath each time Jeremy looked deep into Sierra’s eyes and I fist pumped the air when she delivered some sexy innuendo that stole his voice! There would be no true competition, and once Jeremy found his moment to grasp onto Sierra, fate was sealed!

Sierra Sullivan. My best friend. My first kiss. If I had my way, my first and last everything. And all that came between.

 photo PhotoGrid_1446396068862_zpsaixzybwi.jpg

HOORAY! Happy dancing as two amazing characters did it! They fell in love and they stayed in love. There were no forks in the road. While life may have presented a “bump” per se, it was just a moment for them to proceed with caution, but always together. No person, place or event would break them apart!

This read is nothing but absolute true love and devotion. It is amazingly fun with LOL moments that will throw you back to your own adolescence. Jeremy will beguile you with his cocky/confident love-fests, and Sierra will make you proud to be a woman! Long live the Bank’s and may every one of us be so lucky as to have just a bit of their forever type of love!

As readers we often read books to escape the daily grind of our busy lives. And when we read romance novels, we are taken to place where we can escape and read a modern sexy version of fairytales whether it be prince charming, hot billionaire, bad boys, dominant alpha males, military heroes, bikers, and the list goes on... but if you really think about it, the realistic book boyfriends can be found in the simple sweet boy next door. And that book boyfriend is none other than Tessa Teevan's Jeremy Banks of Fusion.

#f3

I am a big big fan of Tessa and her alpha military heroes especially Knox Wellington. I thought there could be no one who can top him but I was wrong. JEREMY BANKS beats Knox hands down. Jeremy may not have the sexy smoldering appeal that we fell in love with Knox but he has the charisma, charm, humor, and heart of gold to steal your hearts. He is a man who can steal your heart and have you swooning with an "I love you." Jeremy Banks in not book boyfriend material...HE IS BOOK HUSBAND MATERIAL.

#FusionBanks

Jeremy Banks and his beautiful wife, Sierra were first introduced in Tessa Teevan's debut book, Ignite. In those few snippets of Jeremy and Sierra, I loved this couple. I remember messaging Tessa saying "OMG this couple is the cutest thing ever." And when she informed that she was finally going to write Jeremy and Sierra a book, I was over the moon ecstatic. Luckily, I was fortunate to beta read this couple and **ahem** bug Tessa for new updates on Fusion. And as I was reading weekly updates, this couple stole my heart. I was officially smitten with this couple. And I think Tessa can attest to that fact with our chat messages.

#fusuin1

What made Fusion stood out for me, was how Tessa written and told their story. She made this book light, funny, raw, honest, playful and most importantly kept it true to Jeremy and Sierra's personality. I loved how Tessa didn't detract and kept the focused on them. This was indeed a story of growing up, falling in love, and staying in love. I'm not going to say this book is all hearts and flowers, but I will just say that Tessa Teevan was able to tug those emotional heartstrings that every relationship goes through from the good and bad.Tessa Teevan captured her readers hearts through her gorgeous prose and raw characters. If she wanted us to remember the Banks family, she did that and more.

11992108_10103861815462683_336786673_n

The story of Jeremy and Sierra Banks was your feel good kind of book. The book that makes you believe what TRUE LOVE is all about. I loved getting swept away in their fairytale romance. Jeremy and Sierra were what you called your fated lovers and soul mates. From childhood best friends to lovers. I don't think I can do this book justice by rehashing and telling you what Fusion is about. But what I can tell you is that Tessa Teevan DELIVERED. She delivered a story that was sweet, raw, emotional, touching, playful, fun and sexy. She made readers fall in love with the boy who could have your hearts fluttering with his charming personality. This book made me laugh out loud, swooned, fall in love, and most importantly, it captured my heart. The reason why I fell in loved with the story was how real, fun, and raw this book was. Jeremy Banks may not be a super elite broody alpha male soldier, but instead he showed readers what it takes to fight for love through his words and actions. So if you are looking for a book that will holds your heart hostage, then be prepared to get spellbound in Tessa Teevan's phenomenal book, Fusion.

#f1

P.S. Tessa~hurry up with Ava's book because you are so cruel to leave your devoted readers with that ending.

We first meet Jeremy & Sierra Banks in Ignite & I've wanted more of their love story ever since. They were the funny sister & brother-in-law to Lexi who have an adorable daughter named Ava. In Fusion they go back in time and tell their story from the time they met through to present day.

Jeremy Banks first meets Sierra Sullivan the summer when he is 8 yrs. old. She is his new neighbor & they quickly become the best of friends. Through the years they grow even closer & are inseparable. Over time they both start to develop feelings that are more than friendship but are afraid to voice them. They are both concerned their feelings are one sided, so neither one makes a move. Their friendship is everything to them & they are both scared to lose that. They both get frustrated being in the friend zone & eventually confess their feelings. This is such a beautiful love story. This man is absolutely stunning in the way he loves this woman. He is what mother's hope their daughter's will one day find & what fathers wish for their little girls. He is major swoon worthy & such a genuine man with a heart of gold! Jeremy is my favorite of all of Tessa's men! Hands down stole my heart! Can't wait for Ava's story! :D

-Sierra was mine. She always had been. Always would be.

5 LIFETIME STARS

"Who’d have thought that a little girl in a high ponytail and a dirty boy in a Michelangelo T-shirt would’ve fallen in love and ended up spending a lifetime together?"

This really does sums up this book in a nutshell.
I absolutely adored this book.
It was so well written and engaging that I could not find time in my day to read it because my life was too hectic. This is not a light read that you can just pick up and say " ahhh that's so sweet" like I first thought. That's why it has taken me so long to read it.
It was way way more than that.
This book had it all!

All my emotions were at play, I laughed, I cried, and I feel in love with this couple who although are childhood sweethearts, they did not live a charmed life.

description

Corny lines like this won me over:
"The new Harry Potter movie just came out and it’s in my back pocket. What’s it gonna be, pretty lady? Will you take me inside or do I have to Slytherin?”

Emotional lines like this pulled me in:
"WHEN I WAS EIGHT years old, I met the girl I knew I was going to marry."
"...The moment our lips touched, fireworks would explode, little doves would fly, and violins would play. That wasn’t what our first kiss was like. It was so much better.”

And I will never forget this moment:
"Sierra Banks, my wife, was holding Ava Banks, my daughter, for the very first time.
My wife.
My daughter.
And that was all it took.
It hit me so hard that I could’ve passed out again.
But I did something else.
I cried."

Or this heartbreaking moment when Jeremy was
"I WAS ON TOP of the world. On top of the fucking world. I’d just sold my first million-dollar home and gotten a killer bonus, and Sierra was ten weeks pregnant."
And Sierra then
“She was suffering from a miscarriage, and her body couldn’t handle it. Due to the amount of blood and the situation she was in, we felt it best to go ahead and perform an emergency dilation and curettage procedure.”

description

I cried and cried.
Honestly, I can really go on and on about this book but I think you should really try this one out for yourself.
WORTH A READ AND MAYBE EVEN A REREAD!
The beginning may be a little slow but it really does get better!

They are just about the most amazing couple.
What can I say, but I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK.

Thanks Erika for this amazing book Recommendation. You really know how to pick a winner for me.

HEA:

I am so grateful for the chance to read and review this final installment of the series. Let me just say that this is EXACTLY how writing a childhood friends to lovers romance novel should be done every single time. This book was perfection.

Jeremy is my new book boyfriend for sure. He was simply amazing. And I absolutely adored Sierra as well. Did I want to smack them both when they were 14-16? Sure as hell did! But I still enjoyed reading about them during that stupid phase where they didn't want to voice their feelings LOL!

They were the cutest and sweetest friends ever. And there is no doubt in my mind that this couple was the real deal. I LOVE LOVE LOVED that there was ZERO "other woman" drama. I loved it how he never so much as looked another girl. Why would he when he had the most beautiful girl he had ever seen right next door to him?

Even when he knew he messed up and was too slow in revealing his feelings to Sierra, he still waits for her. Jeremy was not one of those typical stupid guys who played games. That just wasn't him. He was simply amazing. I loved seeing their start and enjoyed every minute of their relationship after high school and beyond. And I loved all of the supporting characters as well.

Baby Ava was amazing, as was expected :) Loved that little girl! But I have to say, REALLY Tessa?? To that ending??? I don't know if I am going to like that story! LOL!!

Everyone knows I am a picky romance reader and have many triggers that stop me from wanting to read a book. And it's nothing against the author - just my preference and what's enjoyable to me, as a reader who reads for fun mostly. This book, had NOT ONE trigger for me and boy was I a happy camper. Not only that, but it had many of my PREFERENCES, so you could definitely say I read this will a smile on my face.

I would gladly recommend this book and read more by this author :)

Fusion is a beautiful love story giving us the complete story between Sierra Sullivan and Jeremy Banks told from both POV. We met these two in Ignite.

We discover how these two met when they were just eight years old and how they became instant best friends. We go through their teenage years were hormones develop which is hilarious and feelings begin to change and the anticipation of that first kiss had me gripped. We share in all their firsts. We move into their twenties then married life and the story of how little Ava came along. We go to the reunion were Lexi and Jace met up again and find out what these two got up to during that week. The epilogue made me smile and I cannot wait to read Ava's story.

I loved everything about this story, their relationship has to be one of the most romantic I have ever read. I love Jeremy and Sierra and little Ava is so cute. Fusion made me laugh, made me sad just generally made me happy to be part of their journey. Being a movie lover I loved all the movie references especially Jaws and Scream Go Ghostface.

I would recommend Fusion to anyone who loved Ignite. I forgot how much I love Tessa Teevan and I cannot wait for her new books that continue with this series.

I know you're thinking "but Polly you're Tessa's friend, beta reader, and PA of course you have to 5 star this book!"

Well you're wrong. I'm 5 staring this book because I know it's her best work to date. I know this story is the most evolved she's written. And I know if you don't love Jeremy then you have no soul.

4.5 stars.ok wow I loved this! Not much to say but Jeremy and Sierra were the best couple! I loved how they never strayed from each other and stood true! Oh Jeremy that man is so good and sweet with just the right amount of hotness! the first half in high school was a little too much at first but once they finally came together all good:) This was funny at times, frustrating, happy, hot and sad I really enjoyed them and how wherever one goes the other goes:)This was one of the best friends to lovers read yet. I loved that this was low on angst, sometimes you just need a no drama read and have no triggers and safe for me.Ava oh my goodness she is the most adorable little girl! I really want to read about her but I'm a little scared how it will turn out:/ I'm hoping it's safe. Lexi oh I felt for her. at first I didn't want to read about her and jace(ty was an amazing man and I kinda am team ty) but after knowing what I know now I guess her and jace are meant to be and to be honest jace is a good guy too who was young and made a mistake. im curious to see what happens.yes she loved but he had others before and after and he left her.anyhow I think I'll try the first book:) I really enjoyed this and loved the epilogue and to be quite honest I could of kept reading on about them:)

safe with exception(although I think it's safe, my opinion only)
when Jeremy is fourteen he recounts a time when a girl put her hand down his pants and strokes him for 15seconds. She told him he was tAking to long.lol it really wasnt his fault she just did it and he is 14.this was before him and sierria realized they had more than friends feelings towards each other. he does tell her later and she laughed and felt sorry for him. that was the one and only time someone touched him. Did I like that someone touched his penis first NO but it really wasn't a big deal:) h went on a few dates but never did anything. both are each other's first and last everything:)

I LOVED this book! This is by far the BEST friends to lovers book I have ever read! I loved Jeremy and Sierra! This was such a fantastic, romantic story - it had the perfect amount of angst and drama for me. There aren't enough words for me to describe how much I loved this book and this is a must read for anyone who loves a friends to lovers romance. This book is going on my all-time favorites list and I can't wait to reread it!

I want to start off by saying I really like this couple. They are funny and sweet, people I'd be friends with...I love a good sarcastic sense of humor! I think what got me with this book was already knowing what was going to happen right from the beginning. I found myself feeling like I was stuck in a loop for parts of this book and with a lot of this story taking place in the same time frame as Ignite, it felt very been there done that. I do enjoy the way this author writes and as usual her story was easy to read, I just found myself skimming and that is why I had to give it a lower rating. I am very interested and excited to read Miss Ava's story!!

Genre: New Adult
Sensuality: R

A smug couple looks back upon how they've been together since they were 8 years old back in 1992.

I havent read the previous books in the series and it read ok as a standalone but it didnt have any payoff for me since I wasnt in the least invested in the couple. Actually, I was bored out of my mind thru most of it. Esp. since 60% of the book covered their high school years and it was teenage wishy-washy hell.

I tried to force myself to finish it but couldnt take it anymore.

I can't believe I'm gonna complain about a book being too low angst b/c for me the lower the angst the better but this was just too perfect I guess. Everything was so easy. Two points I didn't really like: 1) The early high school days. I was so annoyed with them going back and forth. 2) Lexi's drama. I really wasn't interested in her side story. I don't think I will read her book since I was kinda team Ty.

Actual Rating: 4.5 Stars!!

“Our love is a breezy summer day. Sure, there were showers in the afternoon and storms on the horizon, but they were always temporary. They’d come and go. But, on our love, the sun always shone.”

I don’t know about you guys, but ever since I met Jeremy and Sierra in Ignite, I have been dying for their story. It’s been a long wait, but let me tell you, it was worth it!!

Fusion really takes you on a journey to the past. We get to see every part of Jeremy and Sierra’s relationship; from the moment they met when Sierra was just 8 years old, to the future where they are happily married and where we first meet them in Ignite. I loved every second of Sierra and Jeremy’s story; from start to finish. I loved every angsty moment of watching their relationship develop from best friends, to confusing feelings, to almost blowing it, to finally realizing what was in front of both of their faces.

Fusion was a quick and easy read for me. I loved getting lost in Sierra and Jeremy’s story. I loved how realistic their relationship and their problems were. I think I had a smile on my face almost the entire time I was reading this story. I was either laughing at all the teen awkwardness or smiling because of just how swoon-worthy Jeremy was. And let me tell you, this kid had some game, even as a teen!

Honestly, I don’t know what else to say. This book was just such a fun read. It reminded me of what it was like to be young and in love. One of my favorite things was the Dawson’s Creek references, because let’s face it, we all watched that show in the 90’s and loved it!! Team Pacey Forever!!! But, seriously, I really enjoyed this story. The story-line and the characters were so much fun. I loved getting to see how the whole story started and how the connection between Jace and Lexi began. It has me super stoked to re-read Ignite. Oh, and I loved the ending; that little tease from Ava’s pov—I can not wait to see where her story-line will go!! Thank you once again, Tessa Teevan, for providing me with another amazing read! I can’t wait to see where you will take me next!!

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*

the whole mandy thing was very unnecessary. It ruins the whole story for me
:( it was good. but why does the hero even need to mention her in the middle and end of the story ? so basically, summer before sophomore year (?) the girl he has a crush on (mandy) put her hand inside his pants (for 15 seconds moving it up and down his yk. that was what he said!) he was dead drunk so it takes him too long to 🥜 but said that if he ws not it would only took him five seconds. He also said in his inner monologue that why is there not even a kiss etc etc. And he even said that it left him 🧱 for the entire night? in the middle of the book, while the heroine held his stick, he 🥜 thinking that "mandy did not ruin me" uhh bro why would you think of another girl and comparing? honestly disgustiiing

By 90% of the book, he mentioned the girl mandy again, narrating what she did and saying that girl was such a tease. Like, Okay??? it ruined it for me tbh.

Adorable 8 yr old boy and girl neighbors and bestfriends, to highschool-lovers, to married-couple with their own cute hellion, little Miss Ava. 👧

Each other's first and only. No separation.
Their friendship was so freakin cute!
Their teen drama was a bit angsty but not annoying.
The adult MCs are too sweet they gave me cavities! 😅🍭🍬

Some users shelved this as War/Military. The soldier was a side character.
H's in real estate business, h's a nurse and later a stay-at-home mom when Ava was born.

〰️〰️

Safe?
▪️ Some highschool/teen angst, OW/OM drama.
▪️ Miscarriage, depression. h.
▪️ Explicit scenes H/h only.

WOW! I truly believe I have just read one of the most beautiful books EVER! I have followed Tessa's writing journey since the release of Ignite (Explosive Book 1) and as a writer, she brings something even better than the last each and every time!

This book is just BEAUTIFUL and delivered the feels I crave as a reader!

We got our first introduction to Jeremy and Sierra in the first book 'Ignite' Book 1 in the Explosive! Series (Lexi and Jace's story)! I have always been curious about how these two characters came to be a couple, so I was absolutely freaking delighted that Tessa Teevan had chosen to write their story.

Sierra is Lexi's older sister by a couple of years. I loved her character through the first book and the support she provided her sister with.

From the beginning, you are taken on this journey of two eight year old kids. Sierra and her family move to Jeremy's town. Jeremy wasn't that excited about meeting his new neighbours until her saw the girl in the TMNT tee, with blonde hair and freckles, Sierra. Sealing the deal of their new found friendship, these two characters made a pact to be each other's best friends. Jeremy is absolutely smitten with Sierra and he just knows, that someday, he will marry this beautiful girl.

You are taken through times and experiences from Kids, to Teens, to High Schoolers, to adults and what a beautiful journey it is. Full of so many laughs, the sweetest moments, to the raging hormones, feelings and new starts, Sierra and Jeremy's story is truly outstanding.

Sierra's character growth is breathtaking. So many people will relate to her character and the way she feels or felt as a young hormonal girl and I'm sure, everyone will have experienced what she has at some point, making this book so REAL. I found her funny, sweet as a cupcake and I just LOVED HER!

Jeremy is PERFECTION on paper. From beginning to end, he just melted my heart and soul! His humour, his LOVE for Sierra and just EVERYTHING he is, WOW! Just WOW! I cannot count the amount of times he made me swoon and just fall into a 'Jere-Haze' because that is the only way I can explain it.

Supporting characters also had a huge presence throughout this story, Sierra's parents being two who really stand out.

'Fusion' delivered the PERFECT romance story. I know that when I fall into a book slump, this is going to be the one to drag my ass out of it! So, I will return to this book over and over again.

This is a beautiful, light hearted story and full of the feels, I cannot recommend it enough. READERS, GO AND 1-CLICK THIS BOOK! You will not regret it!

I absolutely loved every warm loving word written by Tessa Teevan - this was the creme de la creme of a well written romantic story. I laughed, cried and closed the final page with a soppy smile.

it is summed up nicely"

"who would have thought that a dirty boy in a Michlangelo t-shirt would have fallen in love with a little girl in a high pony tail and end up spending a lifetime together. Our love always shone as did our moons. Our love without a shadow of a doubt, was the best thing that ever happened and most of all? It was beautiful, it was ours and it lasted a lifetime"

great series and a bonus its on Kindle Unlimited.

Amazing! This is Tessa Teevan's best work yet. I was in awe of it all. It was a beautifully told story from start to finish. Jeremy and Sierra could not have been more perfect for one another. I adored little Ava. She was the perfect, hilarious mix of her parents. I'm so sad it's over but I love the story that's coming next.

AMY C'S REVIEW

Holy sweet mother of all romance & love!! This book is amazingness at its finest. Tessa can write a simplistically extravagant story every time and it feels soooooo good. I walked away from this books just swooning and dumbstruck for days. This story was so well written and flowed so great it was not hard at all to blow through in one sitting.

I mean saying you've met your forever when you are 8?? What kids say that?? Sierra and Jeremy were the friends that sparked from the moment they met. They were best friends that grew up together and cemented something far greater than any ordinary relationship. I FREAK'N loved every page, every word that was written about theses two. The way that Tessa aged their growing relationship was flawless. I was as intrigued and completely satisfied with every aspect of their story.

I absolutely loved the secondary characters just as much as the primary two. Tessa wrote multiple couples so honestly and completely flawed yet stunningly perfect. Each had just as much meaning and purpose as Sierra & Jeremy that at times I forgot who this story was primarily about. That is the perfection of this writing and the magnitude of this book. The setting was brilliant and took me on a journey from sunny beach front to chilly Northern U.S.. All of these characters were made for each other and fit so perfectly together I was so torn with the book ended.

I have loved Tessa's style of writing for awhile now but I can say at with each book she is becoming more and more one of my favorite writers. She brings realism and humanity to her characters that consistently has me falling in love. The more I read from her, the deeper I fall. The fact that Tessa had me laughing and crying with Sierra & Jeremy, shows so much emotion was conveyed in the words on the page. I recommend this book, the series and definitely this author 100%!! Fusion was absolutely a 5 star read!

HEATHER'S REVIEW
5 STARS

I have been waiting for Jeremy and Sierra's story since the beginning of this series and Tessa did not disappoint!

I love romance stories where the hero and heroine are childhood sweethearts and this is the best book I have read in this trope.

Jeremy was so swoon worthy and has made his way to my top book boyfriend in this series. He was adorable and goofy at times and his love for Sierra really made my heart flutter.

I loved Sierra in Ignite but I fell in love with her in Fusion. She was funny and had a kind heart and was a character I can totally relate to especially in her fears and insecurities.

The connection these two had was so strong and so real! Seeing them go from friends to lovers to husband and wife and then to parents, was such a fun, sweet and frustrating at times. Ava was just adorable!!!

One thing I love about romance novels is being thrust into a world that I don't want to leave and that happened from page one and by the end this was a family I felt apart of.

This is Tessa Teevans best writing and is a top read of 2015. if I can give this a million stars I would!

LEEANN'S REVIEW
4 STARS

So this book starts of in the present tense then goes all the way back to when Jeremy & Sierra are 8 years old & tells the whole story from when they were 8 years old.
And I mean the whole story. And it is a sweet love story.
There is no angst as far as cheating or misunderstandings go, it is just a really sweet story about 2 best friends that spend every minute they can together
& eventually fall in love. Jeremy admits he is not a sappy romantic, but what he is is perfect for Sierra.
They are an adorable couple who were just meant to be.

It doesn’t matter that these characters don’t class themselves as romantic, as the reader you can see quite clearly they are.
It was easy to get swept away with their story, at times when they were talking about their teenage years it was a bit repetitive but it was still a beautiful story.
It was nice following their story as they became teenagers, evolved into adults then humband & wife & lastly parents. They grew into their lives together
which helped the natural progression of the story as well as Jeremy & Sierra as characters.

As they said, they have lived, laughed, loved and lost together. They are a super sweet, super strong couple who love and cherish each other.

If you want to read a super sweet love story with no nastiness, no evil plots & a guaranteed happy ending , if you like to be caught up in the romance & disappear from the
world for a couple of hours then check this one out. You will love it.
