#Noelle I still believe in Beau Barringer. I don’t believe my eyes, so I tear them away from the stage where Beau and his ex, Courtney, stand enraptured with one another. My soul dies a slow death and I can feel a burn behind my eyelids as I attempt to hold back my tears. He says the kiss was his way of closing out a chapter in his life that he never got a chance to close. I’m disappointed that this transpired, but I must admit that, against any and every odd, I still believe in Beau Barringer.
#Beau I will love her until she believes what we have is real. My lips met Courtney’s for the very last time. There is no chance of us as a romantic couple. My heart totally and unmistakably belongs to Noelle Winters and I have no intention of hurting her. I hope she understands why I had to kiss Courtney goodbye. My heart will surely drop and break at my feet, if I ever lose Noelle. She has become a part of my very existence and, to prove it to her, I will love her until she believes what we have is real.
Will Noelle forgive Beau for his betrayal against their love that he committed in front of a crowded room of his fans? Or will Victor take this opportunity to prove to Noelle that he’s the better man?
Theresa Hodge is an Alabama native - loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is at her best when she is able to bring happiness to others. This author loves to read almost as much as she loves to write fictional stories. She finds writing therapeutic at times, especially during the loss of her oldest sister from breast cancer, which birthed her "Ask Me Again" Series. This was her first but this compilation led to her writing several other books. These book's includes her bestselling Noelle's Rock series among many others.
Additionally, Theresa has a love affair with poetry. She began writing poetry at an early age and it served as a catalyst for her growth as a writer.
If Theresa can bring a smile to your face and encourage someone else along her journey, she considers it a blessing beyond measure.
Well we get 2 for price of one in this book. We get Beau and Noelle and Hunter (who is Beau's brother ) and Madison. I actually like this couple and was glad they could get it together.
Beau takes the heat that Noelle gives him because of his actions on the stage with his ex. To his credit he took what she dished up because he knew he had hurt her. In book 2 they get married and have move on with their life.
Hunter and Madison visit the family and attend the wedding and manage to fall in love at the same time.
Its time to have the baby and right at the delivery jack-ass Victor comes a long to ruin the moment. Now we have to go to book 3 to find out what finally happens.
This was a little disappointing. I was invested and interested in the original characters storyline. Excited to see the ending. Instead I got new characters with hardly nothing of Beau and Noelle. It seemed like they had a small blurb in there story. I was looking for the continuation. Ready and excited for it. Looking for Victor and the drama. Instead I got redirected. Book three could've started the storyline for his brother. The cliffhanger ending was lame. That should've been the start of this book not the ending. After jumping around and making most of this book about his brother it was really disappointing. I'm invested now so I'll continue I just hope the next is thought out better.
In Part 2, the book picks right up where it left off in Part 1, and an almost satisfactory explanation is given for Beau's behavior. Still, I think Beau crossed a line!
The story alternates between Beau and his brother. I would have preferred separate story lines. This book ends on a cliffhanger so there will be a Part 3, though the author doesn't mention the release date at the end of this book.
One thing that was funny to me is that Beau is a Rock Star M/Billionaire and he buys Noelle a 6-Carat ring. His brother works in their father's company and he buys his pretend fiancee a 16-Carat ring. Strange disparity, given their respective income levels.
I'll read Part 3 just to see how the story ends, though I did not enjoy this book as much as I did the first one in the series.
Lastly, for some reason the female cover model was changed for this book which I didn't understand or like.
I just love Beau and Noelle! Their love is unconditional. I love the way he talks about her and how she can feel his love! Hunter and Madison was unexpected but nice. I enjoyed watching their feelings play out for each other. Ultimately Hunter fell in love with Madison because she wasn't going to stay for the money. She was pleased at how he came full circle with his apology. Hoping there's a book for them!
Good Read , I thought the story was going to be about Beau and Noelle but it was more about his brother. The cliffhanger was awesome , can't wait to see what happens next.
😂 OMG! Can't believe all the cornball cliches in this one! " Is it as good for you as it is for me"? 😂😅😆😂😆 I could barely write this review for laughing. And the Black women in these stories are made to look like sex crazed weaklings who just fall to pieces at the prospect of a good roll in the sack. It's embarrassing and unrealistic to a fault. I know it's fiction but this author needs to scale back on the "jungle fever" stereotypes and get frikken real. Noelle with her constant crying and catching the vapors. Madison basically selling herself to be manipulated and bullied into anything Hunter wants. And Victor is still around?!? Really?!? Are these supposed to be Rom-Coms? That's what I get for Quick Clicking so quickly! 😕 Well I bought them all so this is my punishment. Onto the next one...
In Noelle's Rock2, author Theresa Hodge, picks up where the first book leaves off. Although Beau kissed Courtney Nick for the "last time," he should not have kissed her at all or at least let Noelle know what his producer had been planning. Noelle should have known that Beau was not going to let her go. I was nice reading Beau's parents were accepting of Noelle and the fact that she is pregnant from another man. I felt this book was more about Hunter & Madison rather than Beau & Noelle. If book would have provided just a little insight to Hunter & Madison, there may not have been a need for story #3 for Beau & Noelle. Hunter & Madison deserved their own story.
The ending to book one was so good that I couldn't wait for this book to come out. It is a o.k. book. Everything felt rushed and focused too much on Hunter and Madison instead of Beau and Noelle. Now, a third book is in the making and I'm not sure if I'll be purchasing it. I felt like everything could have been handled in this book without inserting the short story that could have been left out.
I was really looking forward to reading the second book but I found myself disappointed because for more than half the book the author decides to add another couple's story. Ugh! why! I don't mind the cliffhanger but I'm sure there was more story to tell about Noelle and Beau and could have done it in this book. If the author wanted to tell the second couple's story, there was a better way.
I was totally disappointed with this book. It was rushed and had a lot of errors. Hunter and Madison should have their own book. The storyline was interesting but it was not developed properly. This book felt like is was thrown together. It really makes me not want to read the next one. The only reason it got two stars for me was because I like Beau and Noelle.
I was very into the 1st book.and couldn't wait for the next installment. But this book came off like it was written by somebody else. It seemed like a kid wrote this book, especially the way the conversations flowed between Hunter and Madison. If the 3rd installment is going to be like this then I'm not interested
This was a good read I just want Victor wish washy butt to go somewhere and stay there. I liked how we were introduced to Madison and Hunter. It was cute how they some how balanced each other.
I gave this book five stars because it was spectacular. Beau and Noelle were great in this installment. I am on pins and needles waiting to see what Victor does next. I love Hunter and Madison. I hope things work out with them. Good job Theresa!
I hate series didn't realize before I bought book 1. And I didn't like that they intertwined Hunter/Madison with Beau Noelle's story and the story is still not done, but I am not interested anymore.
I seriously love Beau and Noelle, Victor is a jerk...I like Hunter & Madison, I have to admit I like Madison more than Hunter. I can't wait for part 3.
This was a pleasant surprise it helped me pass some time I will read the rest of the series after that I can give a better review i'll have the whole story
I enjoyed this book but was a little disappointed with the end. Did not indicate if there was going to be another book, and everything was left up in the air
