Review:

I have been a big fan of Susan Murphy from the day I discovered Chick Lit. and Mills and Boons and I am so happy that the book lived up to every expectation that I had from the author.

Annabelle’s wedding is a sweet tale of sisterhood and the love that you share with your family and how you overcome the odds with happiness and positivity. The book details out a beautiful plot involving the intricacies of family and the drama that often accompanies it. The author has beautiful nararted the story of a family with its beautiful, strong and bold characters who managed to enhance the plotline somehow and made the reading experience somehow. I was engrossed from the very first page, and I was truly able to appreciate and relate to every emotion of fear, sorrow, laughter and tears that the characters experienced. The richness of the character made it a delightful read.

I was definitely attracted to the cover page and the name and I expected a traditional romance novel when I first requested for a request since there was no description provided. So the element of Family drama presented in first narrative definitely came as a surprise to me. I think the clever strategy motivated me further to read this book and give a fair assessment.

My opinion:

Susan Murphy has never disappointed me when it comes to her books. It was truly an enjoyable read

I first met Viv in "They Do, I Don't" and was excited to find out what happens next in her world. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I can't say much, but I loved the plotline. I was emotionally engaged in the story to the point that my daughter caught me crying in the kitchen and asked me what was wrong. I had to explain to a 4 year old that I was reading a book and something really nice happened that made me cry. That didn't make much sense to her, but if you like happy crying, then you might like this one. There is a sad bit, but there were lots of bits that made me giggle too.

The first person narrative made me feel close to the action and connected with the main character. I really liked Viv, she's the type of person I'd like to hang out with. I enjoyed the family dynamics and the explorations of step parenting issues.

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Take one Viv, add three crazy sisters, stir in kids, babies partners and parents, a dash of sadness, a dollop of fun and top it off with a nice juicy wedding and you have the recipe for a heartwarming family story, Annabel's Wedding - the second book in the Confetti Confidential series.

Another fun and hilarious book about the crazy world of weddings and Annabel's out there family. This book has heart, a pacy story and makes a great sequel to the much enjoyed They Do, I Don't. Looking forward to more books in this series.

This was much better than I expected it to be. Some funny & poignant moments. Not the twenty something wedding rubbish I thought but instead about older second weddings I could relate to. A pleasant way to pass a Summer's afternoon.
