Some stories were better than others but they all have the feeling of having been written by high school students. Proofreading is needed but correct grammar is needed more.
This review is for Daisy McDare And The Deadly Directorial Affair (Cozy Mystery) (Daisy McDare Cozy Creek Mystery Book 3).
Another quick and sweet ready by K.M. Morgan. This is the third book in the Cozy Creek Mysteries Series. In this book Daisy McDare is working as an interior designer on a movie set when the Director is murdered! Whatever is an amateur sleuth to do? Stick her nose into the investigation of course! If you like a book you can read in a day with a sweet but nosy leading gal and a quirky cast than this is the story for you.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a wonderful set of cozy mysteries that I really enjoyed reading. The heroines are a bit wacky for the most part, making the collection even more fun.
I found it easy to picture the stories because the writing was so illustrative and developed. They are easy to follow and get caught up in, but that wouldn't work if the authors didn't have good characters. These amateur sleuths are smart and determined women who do whatever they have to do in order to solve the crime.
If you like murder mysteries I recommend Cozy Murder Mystery Collection: Pinch of Sugar, Dash of Murder!
Loving this series and another case to figure out... The more you read the more you are intrigued and ready for the next one. This is no different, you find yourself lost in reading and end of the book before you realize it. Really loving this series!
The first two books in this collection, I had already purchased and read. The last two I had not. Not impressed with the last two books. Unbelievable characters, nonsensical really. Only got a "3*" because if the first two books.
Each title in this collection read the same. I often wondered if it was the same author. The story line, language and mysteries were very similar. Disappointing read.
I read the first book and part of the next. It's like a teenage girl wrote these; it was painful finishing the first one but I wanted to know the ending. After a couple into the 2nd one, it was obvious the same person wrote it. Never b othered to check the others in the package out
