How do you choose between life, love and the future? You can't.
Rob’s missing. Rouge’s passed out. Caleb just told her that Rob’s been taken away to be put down.
Oh yeah, and Rouge’s pregnant.
Wait, what?!
Rouge’s the Seventh Mark, Michael’s a guardian who’s already dead. How can he get her pregnant? The high and mighty Caleb is even more determined now to stop Rouge and the abomination growing in her belly.
On the run from Caleb and the Higher Council, on a mission to save Rob, and at the same time trying to stop the dark angel Rouge summoned – the team must figure out what the Power of Three is before Bentos kills them all.
However, there’s a catch: if they go after the dark angel and kill it, anyone with angel blood in them will die. If they kill Bentos, there is rumor that all his offspring will die except the next Seventh Mark.
When everything looks lost, will there be any chance of hope for the future?
Find out in the final installment of the Hidden Secrets Saga, CHOSEN THREE. … or is it the final installment?
Wanita May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario - St.Catharines. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.
The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.
At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.
But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.
Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.
Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).
After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.
Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.
She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.
Again with this series, good plot. Needs better editing and the discrepancies between the books were cringe worthy. I actually yelled at the book a couple of times because of them.
I think if the author went through, fixed the spelling and grammar issues, as well as making everything consistent it would be a more solid series.
Finally a book in this series that doesn't end with everything up in the air.
The story moves quickly. In fact I thought the climax moved very quickly especially considering all of the stalling around in some of the previous books.
This book had probably the most character interaction. It was nice to see people talking and not yelling.
In terms of parental guidence, this book had probably the least to worry about. Sure some violence, again among mostly nonhumans including some killing and collateral damage, but not as much as in some previous books. As to sex, not really. There probably was some, but not at all described; behind the scenes if you will.
I wanted to wait until I finished the entire series and I was not disappointed. W.J. May is an excellent writer, she has a knack for drawing you into each character. I loved the entire series so much that I went on to the next series involving the children which as of now I am on book 2. I couldn't believe how quickly I finished book 1, it was that good. I highly recommend both series.
I really enjoyed this series. The characters were interesting, their journey difficult. Their love surpassing what is happening. Complications abound, with evil surrounding them, coming for them.
This was a great conclusion to an action packed series, that takes you on a great ride. This and the previous stories cover all the emotions. From the heroine and the hero you cheer for and hope for. To the side kicks who allow you to release with laughter that breath you didn't know you were holding. To the villain you want to personally put an end to. Thanks to W.J. May for her great talents and sharing them with us her grateful readers
I was hooked by the first book in the series. I got each one as they were released and couldn't put them down once I started reading. The whole storyline was fantastic. W.J. Mays knows how to capture you and draw you into the world of her books. I loved how it ended but would love to continue in the story.
If this series ends here it's ok. If it goes further that's ok too. An awesome story either way. I love that it is a completely new take on a story as old as time. The characters are very believable and their story so true with it's ups and downs, like real life. Thanks for a great story. Enjoy!!!
I couldn't put this book down it is just too full of mystery, secret and emotion. Michael, Rouge,Grace and Rob are just great together I laugh, I cried it is really a good book and do recommend.
This was the best one of the series. It ended on a great note with the possibility of another great storyline. I hope it happens and will be reading it as soon as it does. Thanks for the HEA, I needed it.
OK you were warned. This book was wonderful as all of them are in this series. I hop that she continues because (here it is) I wanna know what those twins are in for.
There books are so enthralling. The twists and turns of the plot might make your head spin. Just be prepared to read the whole series, otherwise you will not be happy. W.j.May is a fine writer and deserves for you to read her books!!!
