Wonderful

An excellent book telling us about Maradith's mother's life and Maradith growing up, and about her powers. Her father taking off leaving the family broke. Very intriguing, great story, great series and a superior Author.

I really enjoyed this on audiobook. The narrator did an amazing job. Loved the accent. The story was a great intro to the series too. It really gave the feel of the setting and the stakes. Lots of intrigue, suspense, and thrills. Great for vampire lovers. Love this take on them. I look forward to more action packed books by this author amd cant wait to meed more of this series. The world was enchanting.

This book is about Marradith Ryder's mother. Here the reader sees where Marradith gets many of her powers from and why she is so important. Nora, has to overcome a father walking out on her family, a childhood lover that has lied to her, new found relatives that she doesn't like and a secret society that wants to torture and use her for her special heritage and unique abilities. All and all she will do whatever it takes to protect her family. Lori Titus, I love this series and I am looking forward to more books about Marradith and her friends and family!!

I really enjoyed this prequel to Hunting in Closed Spaces. In fact, I found Paul and Nora's story much more intriguing. I'm not much into YA, and HICS read more like that because it was their daughter's story. More on the grown folks please! Just my preference. :)
