Little Bruna is always cold, even in summer, and no matter what she does to warm up, nothing seems to make a difference...until one day someone needs her help. A bear is drowning in a nearby river and Bruna must set aside her own worries to save and warm the cold, wet bear. It isn't long before she has forgotten about being cold and thrives in the warmth of a beautiful new friendship.
Anne spent most of her childhood playing baseball, climbing trees and going on adventures. After her geography degree from the University of Western Ontario, she got itchy feet and moved to London and became a freelance film technician. She received Dip.Ad. from Slade School of Fine Art and a M.A. from Royal College of Art. Anne turned to writing when her first child was born, and now splits her time between writing children’s books and making films.
Bruna, a little girl lived by herself and was always cold. She tried covering herself with layers of clothes or going to places that were warm but nothing seemed to work.
