Can you ever be safe?

Jess is just about to have her baby, she has decided to have him at the beach house where there can be new happy memories. The only thing missing is her parents but someone is about to destroy her happiness again. Mike is happy with his new girlfriend Nikki but what is she hiding, Jess knows there is something but she puts it off. Someone tries to kill Mike and his team but who? could it really be Nikki but why? Someone will make Jess pay and if that means taking her newborn son then so be it. Will Jess ever be safe from her past? Wow another great book in the series had me guessing til the end did not see that coming. Can't wait for the next one.

ROCK-A-BY BABY
This story continues from Closure and Forbidden. Once again I was captivated and on the edge of my seat as the mystery and suspense continued to unfold. The plot twist kept me in constant suspense and the pages turning. I love this fast-paced action pack thriller story. Beware; you will be drawn into this story and its emotional roller coaster ride! Just when you think you are safe, a new danger is lurking in the shadows. Meeting new people, revisiting ones from the first two books, some happiness, some heartache, and shock. Finding out that someone you trust is evil and where will it lead. Trying to move on in their lives, but trouble just won't leave them alone. This is an excellent FBI thriller series with a wonderful cast of characters, entertaining dialog and heart-stopping scenes.

This is the third book in the series and I really don't think it will be the last!

Jessica Resario has left the FBI to make a family with Tom and their "family". The problem is that the past keeps coming back and now the job is left to Supervisory Special Agent Mike Turner and his team to find out who is after Jessica now.

But, as they get closer it looks like this one becomes personal for Mike and maybe they aren't finished with the case after all.

When I finished the book I know there has to be more coming as I really hope the author hasn't left us hanging and I still think Mike is in some danger!

Poor Jessica and Tom and how crazy people just seem to find them and inflict themselves on them. All they are trying to do is move on with their lives but the past keeps on coming back. I was totally surprised on who was involved but I know there are still some major secrets out there and I am eagerly waiting for the next book to be written!!

2.75 Not for me stars.

The style was too See Spot Run... See Spot stop for me and it was all tell and no show. I didn't get to know or care about the characters....and they seemed unbelievable.

Jess goes into labor, delivers her baby and then gets up and goes on the chase.
Guess I'm a wimp cause I was tired and sore after I gave birth.

Then there is Mike who is pretty touchy feely with Jess, though she is married to Tom. Mike can survive a plane crash, walk 10 miles injured and then go on the chase, shoot someone, get back home across the country, and get it on with Nikki....no mention of medical treatment for his bloody head wound. He is like that watch that takes a licking and keeps on ticking I guess.

Plenty of 5 star reviews so I guess I am in the minority on this one.

Obsessed is the third book in the Angela's Cybercrime series. First there was Closure where Jess learns that she was stalked as a teen and her parents died protecting her. Then in Forbidden she finally tracks down and kills the man that caused her all here heartache. Now in Obsessed she thinks that things were over and life could settle down. When she is about to give birth she learns that things are not what they appear to be. Will Jess and Tom ever be able to have a normal life or will there always be someone after them?

Jess's story continues in Obsessed, now married and starting a family, Jess's life is turned upside down once again. The story takes her back to the beach house where it all basically started. It is packed full of twists and turns and keeps you on edge with each page turn. Love seeing characters from previous books although who can you really trust?!? The ending caught me by surprise and can't wait for the next!

A real twist in this one. A good fast read, this story expands on the lives of the characters quite a bit. I've read all of this series to this point and they are all good. But trying to say much more would surely result in a spoiler. Pick this one up to find out the next layer in the saga.
