Samantha Garver moves back from Los Angeles to the UK after a very difficult breakup. Sitting around in the house quickly bores her, and she begins swimming lessons. There she meets her swimming instructor, Blake McCole, who is gorgeous...but so is his brother Luke—also an instructor at the leisure centre.

When Sam and Blake bump into each other at a local pub and she spills her drink over him the sparks fly. They end up spending a lot of time together and she starts to fall for Blake, but there's something about Luke that she just can’t keep her hands off. A sexual need for him that she struggles to control. Torn between them, will the brothers ever let her have them both or will she be forced to choose between love and lust?

I recieved this book from the author for and honest review.
This book grabbed my attention from the little blurb.
As soon as I started reading the first page I was hooked and wanted so much more all at once. I loved the interaction between all the characters and the suspense at the end is driving me crazy. I can't wait to read the next book, I have to know that all the pretties live happily ever after!

OMG! Boy was this book HOT! I could not put this book down. I loved it. From the moment I started it I was hooked. You've got two brothers, Blake & Luke and they are both crazy for Sam. There is no way I was able to choose between Blake and Luke. They both loved her and want to make her happy. This author kept me guessing the whole way through. This book I had me laughing and crying. Just reading Torn you can feel the love and lust that Sam had for both Blake and Luke. I loved this book! I can't wait to read book 2.

Torn by Scarlet Le Clair is a tornado of sexual attraction between Samantha and two hunky lifeguard brothers. What more can a girl want when she has a choice of two built guys? I wish I was a lifeguard, sigh. This is Sam's problem, she must decide but she can't until Blake puts his foot in it leaving the field open for Luke. That soon changes though. This new author pulls out all the sex stops with some darn hot descriptions and WOW to the sexting scenes. The things you can do over the phone?
The plot is continually boosted by character flaws bursting to the surface that keeps the reader hooked until the final chapter which just blew me away. Talk about a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers that completely alters the tone of the story and makes the reader start at page one again.
Well done to this author's first attempt and this reader looks forward with nails bitten to the quick for book two. Very highly recommended.

Review of TORN by SCARLET LE CLAIR
****4 1/2 Stars****

I am reviewing this book on behalf of Bookwhore Addict Reviews.

Let me start by saying that the blurb on this book, alone, would be enough to draw me in to read it.

Who doesn't appreciate a love triangle but add in the sibling factor and whoa you've got me!!

Samantha returns to the UK from LA after breaking up with her douche boyfriend, but soon finds herself bored. She takes up swimming lessons, where her instructor, Blake and his brother Luke catch her attention.

Sam and her girlfriends run into the guys on a night out but sparks begin to fly between Sam and Blake...... Where is it going to lead and why has Sam such strong feeling for both brothers.

Holy smokes, I can't give away spoilers but a classic love triangle amplified. Two smoking hot brothers, one saucy woman....sparks are flying.

Loved the interplay of the characters, they were real and very believable. Easy to immerse yourself in their world.

Thanks Scarlet Le Clair for such an awesome story.... Now I just need to get onto Book#2 Split..... I can see this story getting even hotter.

I really loved the chemistry between the three main characters, Sam, Blake & Luke. To see them go through some drama, that at times had me wanting to slap them, shake them,oh heck yell at them at all the high schoolish antics they were doing to each other. There were times when I had actually put the book down and walk away due to all the hot steamy sex the three were having and I may have claimed Blake as my new BBF (though Luke Isn't out of the running either lol) and the drama that had me wanting to wring the necks of everyone involved. Although there are other characters in this book that you could focus on, the only ones I had my eyes on where the 3 main people Sam, Blake & Luke, I literally only put down this book for maybe a handful of minutes total, I wanted so badly to put it down for sleep but just couldn't due to I needed to find out what happened at the end. The only problem I have with this book is that I finished it and now I have to wait for the next one.I am not a patient woman. I really love this book and can't wait for the next one to come out.

I very much enjoyed reading this story. Sam and Blake are the main couple, but there is also depth in the other characters that draws me in. Jax is Sam's stepbrother, and Roxy who works with Sam and for Luke who is Blake's brother and is Sam's boss. Trust me when I say that this author makes it so easy to quickly become hooked on these people's lives.

The main characters are in their mid twenties. Sam's world is split between England and Los Angeles where her mother and stepdad live, and before you know it, you are at the end of the book and don't really want it to end. There are some serious surprises right at the end and even though the story could have ended right there before the Epilogue I would have been okay with that. That Epilogue is a killer though. Now I need the next book.

This is a definite 5 stars. Received this ARC from Triple A book blog for an honest review.

This is a fast-paced, action-packed, love-infused novel that you won't want to put down. The situations that Sam gets herself in when it comes to her two "FWB's" named Blake and Luke are deliciously delectable. Who wouldn't want to be stuck inside a masculine, man sandwich? I know I would! Did I mention they are brothers? This most definitely complicates the struggle she has with trying to figure out which guy to choose. It shouldn't be this hard, right? Wrong! Whether she needs a nice, quite guy that can love her unconditionally, she also can't fathom sex without a bad boy, who has a girlfriend. Will she be able to choose one of the boys before her emotions get the best of her, or will her heart break in two at the thought of loosing them both? I guess you'll just have to find out who gets taken and who will be torn!

Scarlet Le Clair is just awesome. For a first time writer you would think she was a seasoned writer with thousands of books. I read this book in just a couple hours I could not put it down. I don't usually enjoy Books with a Cliffhanger and have to find the next book, but this was spectacular.

Samantha Garver has made the move back to the UK and round 2 hot men she can't get either off her mind. What's a girl to do but do them Both. This is one hot read and I can't wait for the next installment as I can wait to see where Samantha is now and what that evil Stalker is up to. This is a must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to read this book because of ours reviews, yet I was not pulled into the story as others were. The main character seemed to me to be a little immature for her age of 24. She remained me of a girl who is still playing high school games by going from brother to another in a matter of seconds. A majority of the book is back and forth between and the "twist, suspense" of her past didn't come up until chapter 18, was not described enough to pull me in to find out more. There was a point were she tried to the right thing in telling Blake that she was not going to the other women, yet she would get around him and all that went to the side. I would recommend if you need a fast read.

A new book by a new author! This was a book about an amazing love triangle. I just loved these characters. Two brothers who were equally hot - how would you pick only one ! These brothers were both amazing guys in their own way. Personally I loved Luke !!

The sex scenes in this book were hot! And the author surprised with a certain scene - it was hott!!!

This authors words just pulled you into this book and the a lot of these scenes were intense and amazing. You don't want to miss this book! I couldn't seem to put this book down and couldn't wait to finish it.

This Story of Sam starts of staight forward you know girl meets boy, girl wants boy and his brother OK not so straight forward. although I don't like to label anyone Sam comes across as a Tart ,a Tart with a heart, flipping between Blake and Luke two swimming instructor's who just happen to be brothers. Blake comes with complications a long term girl friend. overall this is a well written story although I continued to the end I feel its not for me. But saying that, the ending does leave me wondering what happens next.

This is the first story I have read from this author and I have to say I was not disappointed. There are enough twists and turns to keep you wondering what is going on and makes you want to read the conclusion to find out what happens.

Torn is a whole ball of sexy and drama! As Scarlet Le Clair's debut novel I have to say this is a killer, with it's great amount of sex scenes that leave nothing to the imagination and give us all the description to it's confrontations between characters and the drama and suspense that I just adore in a book.

The cliffhanger was something I was not once expecting during my read and had me on the edge needing the next installment in this series.

What can I say except that I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The characters had depth: Blake and Luke were equally appealing for different reasons and, whilst I don't envy Sam having to choose between them, I still think she's one lucky lady! Samantha's character was likewise witty and engaging and her story was compelling. I also appreciated that unlike some books of its genre, Torn had a plot rather than being a string of sexual encounters only. Overall, I'd label this novel steamy and sophisticated and I'd certainly recommend it to other readers.
