Growing up in South Carolina, Phoenix James was a daydreamer spending many of her days lost in her own thoughts. She created her own worlds and Universes.
In these worlds, she could control everything. Every "shoulda" "coulda" "woulda" in life Phoenix played out with different outcomes the way she wanted them to be. Every heartache, embarrassing moment, and, let down was reversed with a twist.
In her first book, Urban Pulp Fiction Phoenix asked the question, "If you saw Greed, Lust, and Jealousy in human form, would you know them? Would you fall in their trap and play their endless games where no one wins?"
In Phoenix's second book Urban Pulp Fiction II Greed is still in town and trying to take over. Lust is new and collecting "dolls" to "play" with. Petty is stuck in a never-ending rabbit hole. And Revenge has gotten into the veins of some people.
