Once again Allie K. Adams takes us on a whirlwind ride of action, mystery, romance, and steamy sex. While this is book 8 in the series, you can easily read it as a stand alone and not be confused, but I would recommend starting at the beginning so you are familiar with the background characters and storyline. There is a little menage action in this, which while it is not my favorite, was actually handled pretty tastefully, and ultimately doesn't matter. Jason and Jeremy are wonderfully written and I loved both of them. Jeremy is the quieter twin who hangs in the background behind the shining star of his brother. This book is about Jeremy and Bree who were best friends growing up but lost touch after high school. Jason is a pivotal part of the story, and I hope Jason's story is next. Bree is sweet and tough at the same time. She is also still a little shy and self conscious and feels she hasn't outgrown her plain, mousy self. There is some danger involved and of course some treachery. I can't wait to read more in this series. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

In book 9 of the TREX series we follow twin brothers Jeremy & Jason Bowman....both TREX agents. Jeremy is a behind the scenes agent while brother Jason is a field agent.
Jeremy is physically scarred from a near fatal incident when he was thrown into the field on a mission. Yet he is also emotionally suffering. When their 10 year high school reunion come around, Jason seeks the help from Jeremy's best friend, Breanne Harrington. The brothers must also work together to help protect Bree when her life is in danger.
Will Bree and Jeremy reveal that they have secretly been in love with each other for what seems like forever? Will Jeremy put the bad memories of the past behind him and move ahead to a happier life with Bree? This story was a bit slow at the start, but got going soon enough and keeps the reader on the edge of their seats. Excitement of dodging bullets and plenty of hot love scenes of the threesome version make for a wonderful addition to this great series.

oh wow so hot at times. I love the twins trying to protect each other, even though at times there's no need and others its against the wrong thing. Brea doesn't know how badly she's being played and betrayed, she's always loved Jer and he's only ever loved her. he is shy and doesn't know how to tell her, or be with her on his own. scared he will hurt her. this is intense, there are many issues to be dealt with including Jer still recovering from an attack that nearly killed him. another great addition to the Trex series and one you def need to read
