Blind Date

Blind dates are the work of the devil…
I’m a serial-one nighter, and my best friend is my inner slut.
He’s temptation personified, and his best friend is definitely his cock.
Carter Hughes gave me a taste of my own medicine. He wham, bam, thank you ma’amed me into oblivion, and I hell yes, oh God, right there’d him into paradise.
I thought that would be the end—until my mother’s double booking for a consultation winds me right back up at the place I swore I’d never go again. Now I’m fighting for an interior design contract I don’t even want... Just to make a point.
If I get it, the date won’t be the devil.
Carter Hughes will be.

Man, is there anything else in this book besides sexual attraction? You can't live on that. I seriously don't know what to say about this story. I didn't like the characters. I didn't like their connection. I rolled my eyes so many times I've actually lost count. Guess that this book just wasn't for me. Sorry Emma.

Sinfully sexy and deliciously wicked!!!! Emma Hart whip up another sizzling hot read that will have e-readers burning up!!!! Who knew going on a blind date could be oh so sexy? Well, in this case, only Emma Hart can deliver one tantalizing sinful sexy meeting of two strangers. Although this book was classified as a novella, Emma Hart was able to pack so much into the book allowing readers to be invested with Carter and Bee's relationship. With hot sexual tension and a book brimming with steamy passion, Emma Hart delivered one sexy read that will have you begging for more Carter!!! If you love hot possessive alpha male with a dirty mouth, then I highly recommend you to read Blind Date!!!

A light-hearted romance read with the ONS develops into more trope.
The H and h were both into ONS but nothing more - H bcos he was a target of gold-diggers and h bcos she really was just passing time till she met The One - plus she enjoyed sex! It was a case of insta-lust for the H/h but slow-burn in the romance department. Second half was better than first. I liked the h, she was feisty, a hard worker/good friend and daughter; she also had a libido and there was no slut-shaming by the author or the people around her, which is always a plus for me:)

I love the way Emma writes and this effing hot novella is Emma on hotness crack! I loved it. It's fast paced, hot, sexy, funny and highly entertaining. A sexy blind date turns into a business relationship where neither Carter or Bee can seem to keep their minds off each other. Will they stop fighting long enough to see if there's something real between them?

This man is fucking fine. And by fine, I mean he's fucking fah-ha-hiiiiine.

This man has the mouth of the devil, and he tastes exactly like sin.

"If I have to show you how much I want you, I'll be fucking damned if I can take that back."

Meet BEE DONNELLY

And CARTER HUGHES

description

No really, Bee and Carter scream Blair and Chuck!

This novella is short, sexy, sinful, dirty and filthy. Very very filthy! I don't know about you but my e-Reader was literally burning up so much hotness! I've heard that blind dates can either go down or up. But this blind date... Phew! SOOOOO HOT!

For a novella, this books is packed with emotions, hot alpha male, sassy heroine, hot sex and so much sass and hot sex... Did I mention sex? IT WAS OFF THE CHARTS!! From the moment Bee and Carter met it was like fireworks. This book is literally overflowing with passion and hot sexual tension.

And OMG!!! CARTER HUGHES

This novella is just the right length to give you a story that you are bound to love and you will love and hate and love Bee and Carter. If you are looking for a book that is short and deliciously and sinfully sexy then I definitely recommend this book to you!

What happens when a Blind Date/One Night Stand crosses over into your business life?? When you do something out of the normal because you don't think you will ever see that person again, only to have your paths cross again??

Well if you read Blind Date you will find out!!! This is a novella by Emma Hart. It is a standalone that is told from Bee's POV. If you are looking for a HOT read then look no further because this book will melt your kindle.

This is the story of Bee Donnelly and Carter Hughes. Bee is a proud woman who owns part of Donnelly Designs, an interior decorating company, with her mom. Bee is the queen of one night stands. She stands firm on not hooking up with someone more than once. Her BFF Charley knows this and thinks she has the perfect match for her in Carter Hughes. He also only believes in one night stands. Match made in heaven right??? not so much. So after meeting for a Blind Date, things get mighty steamy. Both going forward knowing they won't see each other again. Well fate or Bee's mom has something different in mind. Because Bee's Mom asks her to take her double booked appt, which happens to be Carter's restaurant. What we have after this is two people who fight their growing chemistry and attraction. Talk about a cat and mouse game. Will these two ever put their differences aside and give into their feelings for each other?? You'll have to read this book to find out!!!

So if you have a couple hours to fill and are looking for two strong characters who are actually perfect for each other, then give Emma Hart's Blind Date a try. This is an extremely enjoyable read :)

Really enjoyed this novella. A light, easy, fun, sexy read. Loved Carter and Bee, loved their chemistry and their sense of humour, Bee was so funny. Two commitment phobes, go on a blind date, get it on and, in Bee's one night stand world, that is that! Fate has other plans though, and they end up having to spend the next 10 days working together on a project. Can they both stick to their one night only rules? Sexual tension galore. Beautifully written, shame it wasn't longer, but a novella is a novella. I would have loved dual POV, but I was happy with what I got. Definitely not my last Emma Hart read.

A very unrealistic story with an irritating set of main characters. Can't stand the cocky 'alpha' male type, so this book really wasn't for me.

Blind Date. That. Was. Hot.

Okay, can we just talk about the cover for a moment? Or maybe till I get tired of it? Which isn't really going to happen because look at that! Look at that oh-so-mouth-watering-panty-dropping cover! Please, someone tell me who that guy is because he is exactly whom I envisioned Carter Hughes to be 😍

Well, enough of the cover because I'm pretty sure I'd pass out anytime soon if I go on talking about it 😂 Soooo.. the story. It's a novella and of course it's going to be brief, but to me, it was more than enough. The instant attraction Carter Hughes and Bee Donelly felt towards each other was believable and realistic especially at this era. I just kind of wished this was a full-length novel instead of a novella because I can't get enough of both of them: Carter, the smoking hot, dirty-talking accomplished businessman with a devilish grin; and Bee, the sexy, sassy, smart-mouthed, ultimately talented interior designer. I loved every part of the book! Emma Hart did a great job at making us laugh, swoon and feel hot in all the right places with all the right words, and I can't thank her enough for that! Also, thank you The Bookworm Box for deeming me worthy to receive a copy of this book. I have a question though because I haven't done enough research in a rush to get through this book.. Which novel are Mr. Hughes and Ms. Donelly from? I need to read that — stat!

Now for the rating.. If Carter shows up at my doorstep with a bottle of wine and that sexy smirk of his, I'd give this FIVE STARS. But if he doesn't.. Just kidding 😂 OF COURSE, I'm giving Blind Date FIVE 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 😘

Quick, hot, and oh-so-steamy!

What happens when two commitment phobes have a wild one night stand thinking they'd never see each other again but they have to work closely together on a project?

The only problem I had was Bee's constantly reminding everyone, mostly herself that she's a slut. Nope, there's nothing wrong with a woman loving and having lots of no strings attached sex. I respected that, I wish she did too a little more.

Blind Date is a new standalone novella by Emma Hart.

I normally hate novella’s to me they are the scourge of the book world.

But I’ve got to say that this novella has started to change my mind!!!

Its dirty, as in filthy, filthy dirty!!!

Both Carter and Bee individually are not exactly the most likable characters she’s a bit of a bitch and he’s a bit of a dick. Together they have this intense, brilliant banter that’s part anger part foreplay and I totally got on board with it!!

From the moment Bee and Carters eyes meet they are constantly on the verge of ripping each other’s clothes off!!! The sexual chemistry this couple have is OFF THE CHARTS!!!

Put it this way I need to change my panties let alone Bee!!!

There’s something incredibly sexy about the way this couple don’t want to like each other but just can’t help themselves.

The sex is both dirty and graphic and incredibly passionate in the way only Emma Hart writes it. Somehow the words pussy, cock and fucking in a restaurant somehow were sweet and had me thinking hmmm this couple are perfect for one another.

If anyone out there ever watched Gossip Girl (yes I’m 32 and still prepared to admit that Gossip Girl Rocks!) them Bee and Carter have a Blaire & Chuck vibe to them!! Yep seriously HOT!!

This novella is just the right length, it’s not so short that I’m annoyed because the story stops before it starts and it’s not so long that most of the dialogue is filler.

In fact as novellas go it’s pretty damn perfect.

This story will get you seriously hot and bothered and both hating and loving Bee and Carter.

Blind Date is the perfect book for bedtime dirty dreams, enjoy I certainly did!!

Blind Date gets 4.5 stars from me!!

I really liked the plot development of this book, although I did find the ending rather abrupt, it lacked... something. The author easily blended one scene to another making it an equally easy to read book. I also liked the characters' personalities, there's wit and sexiness all around and, furthermore, I liked the fact that there were no "undercurrent" of conflicting feelings: both characters knew what they felt was different even if they did not like it. It felt like an honest story, for lack of a better word. Another plus, in my honest opinion is the fact that the female protagonist was not a victim. She was not a crybaby. She was confident, hard working and knew what she wanted out of her life.

I would have liked some sort of conflict, I'm used to the beginning, development (middle/climax) and end (denouement) structure and I felt like the middle was a little weak. The idea was good but the development could have been better in terms of plot solidity. It was definitely a fun, light, funny read and I will be checking another of her books to get a better feel on her writing. I liked the way she writes, though.
