This book is brief, informative, and straightforward. Chiefly, it tackles Malignant Narcissism in romantic relationships, and provides the reader with facts to discern it, and tools to overcome the narcissistic partner, and heal from the damage they engender.

Thank You!

Very concise and practical. List of resources very valuable, as well as advice to find a good therapist and tell one's story. My abuser almost murdered me and murdered two others years after my escape. Add "extreme survivor guilt" to my turbulent emotions!

I have read a lot of books on narcissism so I did not find anything new here. The book is very short but is not bad. The author does seem knowledgeable and compassionate.
If you are a victim of a narcissistic abuse and are looking for a therapist then this book will be very helpful to you to find the right therapist.

Mainly focused on romantic relationships but you can apply the patterns to the other types of relationships in your life. Short book with solid advice for those that are trying to detached themselves from the soul vampire/s in their life.

I only read the chapter about moving on, so I can only review that section. The workbook in the back was very helpful to encapsulate the before, during, after phases with suggestions for art therapy projects (which I find very useful).

This is an exceptionally short book with a very narrow audience. It has some good stuff but most was very common sense.

Not worth you're time.

This book was not for lay person. I did not enjoy reading. I had to make myself finish. Save your money.
