Paige Baker is bound and determined to start her own horse training business. While at an auction where she plans to purchase the horse of her dreams, she meets Pamela Jone, a matchmaker for the ultra wealthy, and is suddenly on a whole new path in life. Caught up in a whirlwind of wedding plans, Paige wonders what she can bring to the marriage and if her background as a camp counselor and a rodeo star has really prepared her for marriage to the handsome and aloof Mr. Walker.
Cody Walker has already married and mourned the love of his life—or so he thinks. Left with a daughter, Cody dedicated his life to caring for her but he’s having trouble doing it on his own. A friend hands Cody a BMB business card and before Cody can blink, he’s married to the vibrant Paige Baker. She’s everything he needs and so much more. Can he stay true to his first wife’s memory and care for Paige or will he allow this angel to slip through his fingers and lose the only mother his daughter, Addison, has ever known?

Early on, Pamela Jones realized she had an unusual talent for putting two people together. Over the years, she's turned it into a successful matchmaking service for the ultra wealthy: Billionaire Marriage Brokers. While she specializes in "business" marriages -- paring people off because of their skills, education, or training -- she can spot a potential love match a mile away. When Pamela has a "good feeling" about a bride and groom - a business marriage can become so much more.

Paige has loved horses her entire life and has dreamed of owning her very own horse training business. When she attends an auction to purchase the famous horse, Annie May, she just knows that dream is one step closer to coming true. Little does she know that fate has other plans for making ALL her dreams come true. Enter in Pamela Jones... ;)

Cody's wife passed away when little Addison was only 8 months old. He has done everything in his power to love, raise and protect his little girl. When Addison asks him for a new mommy, he has no clue where to even begin. His friend, Gabe, gives him the little magical card that will turn his life upside down and bring someone into his life that he never knew he wanted, let alone needed. Enter in Pamela Jones... ;)

From the first time they met, Paige and Cody had an instant connection. But of course they fought it. How could they feel so strongly for someone they just met? Someone they don't even know? If it's this intense after just meeting, what's it going to be like for a full year? Are they going to be able to fight it? Do they even want to fight it? What happens once the year is up? Will they move on? Will they have a real marriage? And what about Addison? Will she be able to handle losing not one but two moms?

I loved the journey of Cody, Paige and Addison! It was full of love, healing and new beginnings. The Country Bride is definitely one of my favorites in this series. Once I picked it up, I could not put it down until I finished it. And of course at the end I let out a long, dreamy sigh. <3

I have said it before and I will say it again... I love the BMB series! I have been sucked in from the very beginning and always look forward to the next book in the series! I was super excited to discover that there will be a series for the grooms! Yes... you heard me right! Grooms! And I cannot wait to read Noah's story! Eeeek!

And of course we just cannot forget about the casting... I really love these two! <3

Paige Baker meets Pamela Jones (owner of BMB - Billionaire Marriage Brokers) at a horse auction. She really wants to start her own horse-training business, and is willing to marry Cody and be a mother to his adorable daughter Addison for a year to raise the money she needs.

Cody isn't excited about the idea of entering into a business marriage, but he definitely knows that 4 nannies in 8 months isn't good for his young daughter -- who is insisting that he give her a mother! The widowed Cody is still deeply in love with his first wife and is not looking for a love match. He finds out about BMB from Gabe and Makayla (from the second book in this series - The Organized Bride)... It was fun to see them make a few appearances in this book!

Paige is the 3rd of 8 kids and we got to meet her older brother Noah in this book... He was a fun character and I can't wait to read his story as a BMB groom!

Oh I just love this series! Probably my current fave series...definitely an auto-buy for me.

The Country Bride was anther great addition to the series. And I love the connection--that we got to see Gabe & McKayla from The Organized Bride.

Cody has gone through countless nannies for his young daughter since the death of his wife a few years ago. Paige buys a new horse at an auction, where she meets Pamela Jones...and is given one of her business cards and is told Pamela has a good feeling about her. And if you've read any of this series, you know that's where the fun begins. :)

I loved watching Paige and Cody's story unfold. Paige was amazing with Addison. And Addison just melted my heart. She was so in need of a mother's love, and while Cody was doing his best, his fear was holding her back from being the vibrant child she was. And Paige brought out the best in all of them...and made them a family.

This was a sweet story from start to finish...with the great romance the BMB series always delivers...side note: if they had one more interrupted almost kiss I was going to scream! Ha!

Looking forward to the next in the series...AND Noah's branch-off groom story! I had a feeling that was going to happen and was thrilled to see it is.

I can't get enough of the Billionaire Marriage Broker series! In the Country Bride, Cody has been mourning the loss of his wife in a car accident. His six year old daughter needs stability, and the nannies keep hitting on him! When a friend recommends BMB, Cody reluctantly gives a business marriage a try.
I loved Paige and Cody together. The Sparks were flying between these two! Addison was a sweetheart. I couldn't help falling in love with her, just like Paige did. I loved their mother-daughter relationship. I also loved getting a glimpse of Paige's family. In the other books, the bride's family was pretty distant, or simply kept in the dark. In this case, we got to meet Paige's family, and her overprotective brothers. I was especially excited when I read at the end of the book that Paige's brother Noah is going to be a BMB groom. I can't wait to see that!

I LOVE this series! I've read all of it within the last month. I love the whole premise of the series, it's really a fun idea and I love that the author is changing up the situations so that the books are not all exactly the same. This one has single dad, Cody, frustrated with dealing with nannies for his adorable daughter Addison. Someone tells him about BMB, but he doesn't feel like it's a great fit for him. But he ends up trying it anyway and meets the amazing Paige.

I love the characters. Paige is such a well-written character, I loved her and felt that I identified a great deal with her. She's a down to earth girl from a large family and she knows how to deal with kids. Not only that, Addison loves her and it's apparent the feeling is mutual.

Of course there are bumps along the way, but Cody finds himself falling more and more in love with Paige as the days go by. But is there any chance she'd want to stay once her contract is up?

I'm way excited to read more by this author and hoping for more of this fun series soon. And for a story about Paige's brother Noah.

I stumbled across this series on Kindle Unlimited and I am so glad I did! While I find the story premise to be a little far fetched, it still makes for a fun and engaging read! All of the first 4 books I have read in this series have been delightful! I have enjoyed the characters and seeing them work through their circumstances to find love.

At first, the books would seem to be stand alone novels, as only the secondary characters show up repeatedly. However, later in the series there is a repeat of a previous couple in Book 4 and a character from this novel will be in McConnell's newest release, The Protective Groom. Also, Book 6 will have another character from one of the earlier novels, who had a cameo appearance. So with all that said, I would read them in order.

Another wonderful plus is that this series is currently available with Kindle Unlimited, so you can read right through the whole series! Yay!

This is a clean read romance. Light, fun and heartwarming!

This was a fantastic book. I grew so attached to the characters and went from squealing with sheer delight to wiping some escaped tears. It is in no way a tear jerker, just so very touching and sweet. Loved this escape!

Wounds heal, if you let them

Cody and Paige….struggle to find something worth holding on for.
Paige is bidding for a horse when she meets Pamela. She’s from the poor side of the tracks, but has a joyful outlook on life. Unlike her dad. She spends every dime on the horse of her dreams. She has plans and she is sure she can get there someday.
Cody is a widower who lost the love of his life. He has a little girl who needs a mom. He has struggled and has too much going on with . Addison needs a mom to do girl things with. She is struggling with growing up, and has a learning disability.
When Paige meets Addison, she has an instant connection to her.
Her and Cody struggle to find their place and how to mesh their lives together, for the sake of Addison. She is always first on his list. Paige’s horses are a problem for him. Will they learn to LIKE each other in the end? Did Pamela make a good match with them?

As with the other BMB romances, McConnell does an excellent job with weaving together two lives that come together unexpectedly. In this book we have an added element with a stepdaughter as part of the marriage. I was impressed with this one in how she wrote the relationship between Paige, the heroine, and Addison, the stepdaughter.

I appreciated how Cody, our hero, was written as well. He had some genuine fears and issues to resolve and they were handled well. The major turning point for him at the end was good, and maybe the falling action get slightly rushed, but I didn’t mind. It was still good.

You do not need to have read the other BMB books, but there are a few characters from The Organized Bride that reappear. They are used for plot movement, so it is not critical to know their story, but if you would be bothered by no knowing, start there. I’d recommend this story to anyone looking for a lighthearted, clean romance. There is just enough tension to make it enjoyable, but not so much you get worked up about the story. While characters make mistakes, they quickly correct them instead of letting things fester. I always appreciate that.

OMGosh, OMGosh, OMGosh!!!! Each and every page... 😍😍😍

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.

The best thing ever is when you pick up a book and can't put it down until you're done! Like all the others in this set, it was one of those! I loved it! It is one of my favorite because it included a loving Father looking out for his daughter! My hubs had a daughter when we met and I have never thought about her as anything other than my own even though her Mother is still in the picture. I love the way this story came together and their instant attraction to one another and their mutual concern for Addison. Love this whole series!!! I am so excited that there are 2 more books coming out soon! I can't wait! If you haven't tried one yet you should!

I’m a sucker for a MAN in a cowboy hat...

This is my favorite BMB book so far! Lucy did a great job of fleshing out the characters and opening up a window into their motivations and baggage. I was inspired by Paige’s ability to hold her tongue when Cody said something that hurt her, and listen to the words that weren’t being spoken. If only more people took the time to do that!

I also thoroughly enjoyed the steam and the anticipation of that first kiss. Totally worth the wait!!! I can’t wait to read The Protective Groom next!

Heartfelt

I read the Noah and Harley book first (sorry can't remember title) and loved Noah and his relationship with his sister so when I saw this was about Paige I was excited to read it. While Cody is no Noah (really who could be) I thought it was sweet and relatable especially for a widower and small child. He would be reluctant to move on and disgrace his wife's memory. Very well told.

I have loved this series, and this may be my favorite installment! It was interesting to have a groom who had been very happily married before. Paige and Cody are just perfect for each other. Addison was just adorable and added so much to the story. I can't wait for more!

This story felt choppy to me. I didn't feel the connection between Cody and Paige. Everything seemed to happen too fast. Addison was cute. Noah was one of my favorites and I'm glad he has his own story.

A good arranged marriage romance. Penny Paige Baker has had enough of her dad's bad attitude. She wants to own and operate her own horse training business. When Pamela Jones extends a job opportunity to her, she jumps at it.

Cody Walker is mourning his wife years after her death and is forced to endure unwanted advances by his daughter's nannies. Gabe of "The Organized Bride" suggests he contact Pamela at BMB.

Initially, Paige's and Cody's marriage is wrought with his unresolved loss. This made the story quite challenging to continue. However, eventually, his grief lifts as he regularly sees how bonded Paige and Addison, his daughter, are together. The ending is delightful.

Entertaining. Happily Ever After. Romantic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.

I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

This would have been 4 stars for me if the author had used a timeline to keep track of her story. Don't get me wrong, the plot and characters were so fun and there were some definitely swoon-worthy scenes, but the days and passage of time kept getting messed up. They got married on a Friday and the "next day" was Sunday. The trainer was supposed to come on a Thursday, but he came on a Friday, the weekend passed when it was still the middle of the week. I could go on, but I'll leave it there.

Overall, it was a fun way to pass the time and I lost sleep for staying up late to finish it.

I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Paige Baker wants to start a horse training business, but needs money to do it. At an auction she meets Pamela Jones who offers her a job where she can make the money she needs. She must marry Cody Walker who lost his wife in an accident and needs a mother for his young daughter. He’s resistant to change, and they butt heads at first, but end up working things out. An interesting and uplifting story and a great addition to this series.

Desire of the Heart

Paige and Cody's story begins with Cody firing his nanny because she was trying to coerce his daughter into telling him he should marry her nanny. Paige is buying a thoroughbred to start her own horse trading farm. She meets Pamela Jones who offers her a way to afford her dream. Gage talks Cody into trying the BMB. From the moment Cody and Paige meet they feel an attraction. Funny, fraught with mixed emotions. Characters you care about and can't wait to see again.

I love this book! Paige is strong and determined. Cody is still grieving from his first wife's death over 4 years ago. The Billionaire Marriage Brokers found the perfect mother for his daughter Addison but when chemistry abounds between the "married for convenience" couple, sparks fly. Delightful!
