This a short, sweet novella. Thea Martin and Dr. Kenner Sutton. They meet at this small club and are drawn to each other and have a one-night stand. Thea tells him she is insurance, and he tells her that he is an Ad executive. The have a misunderstanding and pine away for one another and if by chance or fate they meet again at a Christmas party for one of Thea's clients. They are introduced to each other as if they don't know one another, but as soon as they are alone, she gets upset with him for what the bartender said about him, but you definitely cannot listen to what other people say because most of the time they have their own agenda. Thea had been married before, but her husband had a weak heart and he died three years ago. It was such an easy reading story, and it contained characters from some of the other characters from some of the other stories in this series. Logan and Jordana, Ashtyn and Neil were there too. It made it even more interesting. It was a good read.

Cute but predictable

This was a cute story, a bit stereotypical, but this author needs to find an editor. I read another, longer book by this author with the same issues, and decided to try a couple of her short stories to compare, and so far, they all have the same issue. The stories are ok, but the language usage and m I swing w o reds, etc., are very distracting.
