This book picks up right where Sideways left us hanging. Olivia comes back into town after her hiatus for six months. She lets her friends know that she has returned and decides to go out for a drink. Seeing Gabriel for the first time should have been the happiest time of her life. That is drowned out by him having a female on his arms walking into the bar. Instead of listening like she should do she runs off again. Olivia has had some hard times and running sounds like the logical thing to do. That is until Gabriel finds her and demands that she quit running from him once and for all.
Gabriel has been lost since Olivia took off. Knowing she is back in town frustrates him and makes him happy all at the same time. He knows that he should give her some space but he is just too in love to let that happen. That and he never wants her to run away from him again. But once another tragedy hits and she calls him to be by her side he knows that without a doubt she loves him too.
I loved this book just as much as I did the first one. The characters are all intense and wants what is best for the other. When it’s time for Gabriel to need someone Olivia is there and will not leave his side. This is a very heartfelt read that I think everyone should enjoy.
I cannot wait to see where this series takes us.
My Favorite Moment: I love how Olivia explains the ring. No, I am not giving this one away, you must read to find out.
