I loved this book and read it before throwing my first pot and again after 4 months of throwing. It was clear that I was drawn to the pots featured and to their maker. Phil Rogers is one of my favorite potters. I have never held one of his pots, only seen photos and videos, but I'm sure that when I do finally pick one up it will transform me and leave a lasting impression on me as an artist and potter. His work is in the tradition in which I would like to immerse myself for a life of learning.
