Truly speaking the book touched my heart. The story is amazing ,emotional and touchy.
Actually i like the concept .

As clear from the blurb , this story is about two lovers , Arjun and Anya, who were departed at young age, when they started loving each other. After so many year , when Anya has daughter Nisha whois now of same age of getting married. Anya narrates the story of hers to Nisha.

Ending is as usual awesome. In the end both Arjun and Anya, finally after a thunder storm in their lives that separated them, were together! There came a beautiful and colorful rainbow, resting in their golden nest of love.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
THIS IS A PLAGIARIZED WORK.
I BORROWED THIS BOOK FROM MY FRIEND AND WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE STORY GET PUBLISHED UNDER SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME!!!! ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE POSTED REVIEWS PRAISING THE BOY FOR WRITING SUCH A STORY PLEASE TRY AND THINK FOR A SECOND.... DO YOU REALLY THINK IT IS POSSIBLE FOR SUCH A YOUNG BOY TO WRITE A SUCH MATURED STORY???? I TELL YOU....THIS BOY.... CLAIMING YOUNGEST AUTHOR OF INDIA HAS NOT WRITTEN A SINGLE WORD OF THIS STORY.... I HAVE PROOF FOR WHAT I AM TALKING.... THERE IS NO PROVISION TO ADD IMAGES HERE OR ELSE I WOULD HAVE ATTACHED THE SCREEN SHOTS .... IT WAS ALL OVER FACE BOOK.... THIS STORY IS INITIALLY WRITTEN AS "A TYPICAL LOVE STORY" A SADDA HAQ FAN FICTION ON FACEBOOK GROUP "SANDHIR CAFE" AND ON WATTPAD TOO.... I HAVE SCREEN SHOTS OF BOTH.... I READ THE STORY AND TALKED WITH THE AUTHOR (WHO ORIGINALLY HAVE WRITTEN IT) TOO.... I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF EVERYTHING.... PLEASE DON'T ENCOURAGE SUCH SHITTY PERSONS.... LET THE ACTUAL TALENT LIVE.....

This book is really good. I don't say it is the best book I have ever read but it is for sure something different. It has innocence and purity.

But somehow I was shocked to see a review saying that it is not his book but when I re-read the book from page 1, I came to know how some people read and judge a book. In the acknowledgement section, there is a clear mention of the fact that Purple Quill was his co-author in the project. He has given all the credit to her that she deserves. How can you judge someone who has worked with honesty and that too a kid?

But, after reading the acknowledgement section, I am glad that I re-read it once before trusting the rumors.

Good luck to both who wrote the book. Cheers.

A review of A Dream Come True by Rishiraj Sen.
Kudos to this writer who lives presently in Assam, and is partly Bengali and partly Assamese, who was only fifteen years when he wrote his first novel, a Dream Come True. He is to be especially congratulated for not only writing a novel at this tender age but being able to get it published, which spirit of enterprise in one so young I salute most handsomely.
His novel is an interesting love story about a girl Anya who falls in love with a boy Arjun but the course of true loving never running smooth is forced by her parents to marry someone else. In an interesting twist she then finds an understanding husband (Shiv) who agrees to divorce her and let her go back to the one she loves, an unrealistic but idealistic person, and therefore to me the most enchanting character in the book. The book has many other details which I withhold for the sake of not spoiling it for the reader.
The book has in it an innocence that is appealing as Anya continues loving and so does Arjun, her love, and her adopted daughter Neha is as adamant as Shiv that Anya should find happiness. It also has a serious attempt to be more than just a love story and many twists and turns which I find commendable.
My knowledge of the world tells me those who start out young achieve the most and great things. This will be so in this instance too, I hope. I wish Rishiraj all the best in his future endeavours.
Something that I feel forced to say here is that the last three books that I have read, all in Indian English, all suffer from the lack of proper editing.
This single minus factor pulls them down, and this is a pity as they all would have otherwise reached a much better, bigger and wider audience. This is one area we seriously need to do something about in India if we mean business as internationally read writers in these days, as publishers, editors and writers.

After reading the book, my first reaction was ' Is the author actually fifteen? Seriously !!' It is unbelievable to think that a fifteen year old boy could pull off a love story which was more convincing than many best sellers.

The story is the relation between Anya and Arjun, how they met each other, fell in love, fell apart and waited for each other for more than 19 years. A girl cherishing her three months old love for nineteen years was a little bit exaggerated but again it's love. Anything can happen.

The moments between Anya and Arjun were quite filmy and cliched and the story was also heard about but there is a lot of freshness and innocence in the narration which reflected the freshness of the author's age. One should not be judgmental while reading the book thinking that 'Oh! it is written by a kid' because his literary finesse out passed his age in high degree.

Anya is the representative of lakhs of students who were victims of academic pressure and family expectations and those who were pushed into the entrance mania irrespective of their interests.
The quintessential romance lovers will definitely fall head over heels in love with this book.

Review:

I had heard about this book over social media. It was creating a lot of buzz. Readers were singing praises about this book. Soon, the author pinged me and asked me to review it. And here I am with my review.
The story seemed to be kind of predictable to me. The flow of the incidents have been uneven. Some run at leopard's pace while some are slower than the snail. There have been incidents where I was bored. Overall, the story was good. I had hoped for some major twists and turns but the ones that were presented seemed quite minor. The story has been narrated in first person and seemed to be done from heart. It felt like a diary account- simple, emotional and touchy. The characters made a place in my heart. There were moments when I dropped a tear. The book seemed to be like a Bollywood movie to me. I felt realism to be missing. (I am being very frank.)

Likes:

Anya's and Nandani's relationship.
Anya and Arjun's undying love for each other.
Shiv and his one-sided love for Anya.
Dislikes:

The book needs editing. Proper editing will benefit it in long run.
I felt liked heavy words have been stuffed at places to make the narration better (I guess). But that ruined the entire thing. I could really make out that the were stuffed in.
I felt that the title and the story did not match each other well.
I rate:
Cover: 3/5.
Story: 2.5/5
Characters: 3/5

Overall, I rate 'The Dream Come True' with 2.5/5 stars.

Sorry for the late review brother.
Now I would really like to tip my hat to this debut work of fiction by Risiraj Sen. A Dream Come True was a worth read. And then it really feels great that voices from Assam are getting heard all over the country.
Now coming back to this Anya-Arjun tale, it's well intricated, fine-lined with a simplicity yet somehow complexity that is being attained with the fineness of the characters. The plot is really well carried out till the end. And here the work of the author stands out.
The heart-wrenching yet quirky at times story of Anya and Arjun who fall in love but separated by fate, will give you the emotional sobs. I was really hooked with the story. There's good amount of humor thrown to keep the feeling alive. And after years when Anya has grown into a lady (read as old) whose daughter Nisha is about to get married and then hears about the stories from past that her mother tells. And again, fate takes its turn. Arjun and Anya comes togrther again, even though fate separated them. And thus, marks the ending of a happy love.
I would like to gives this wonderful read a rating of 4.25 out of 5.
Keep going brother. You've great to achieve. Best of luck!

first of all congratulations for your book n best of luck for your future....

i read your book in 2 go n i must say it was a page turner....n i can read it again n again.

the story has started with the conversation between a mother n daughter.
anya was so concerned about her daughter.she wanted to get her marry by her choice.the reason was simple, she did not want her to face the same situation ,she already had been facing all those years.
here neha also could not marry leaving her mother all alone to live.
some where she was right else the situation making her to do that.whatever the every situation, dialogues has described clearly n nicely.

the next phase of your story has described the young anya n arjun.the way they met...it was unique n funny.specially the behaviour by arjun was hilarious.n it made me laugh a lot....i enjoyed.that was the best part of the novel...at least for me.

over all i enjoyed the reading....must read this book...it will make you smile, blush n cry at the same time....

Finally I completed this book. I delayed it because I was really stuck in something non-explainable. And I do not want to waste anymore time other than reviewing the book.
So coming to the book - A Dream Come True is truly a story of having a dream come true. It is, yes, the boy-meets-girl-love-story but with a lovely and a painful twist. The 15 year old author created the plot so well and the characterization of the people involved are actually commendable. At this age, kids hang out with their friends and play video games and here, Rishiraj Sen has beautifully expressed the story with honest and simple words. The reader will be amazed to realize how articulately the author has explained the places, the emotions, the characters, the situations. The way he portrayed the beauty of the night of the balcony and other events actually made me feel that I was present right there witnessing the events happening in front of my eyes - live!
I mean, seriously, you have it Rishi Sir !!! Please get some more stories like these.
Loved it !!!

I will rate it as 3stars. All because of the story its, amazing and it really touched my heart I was shocked to read such mature story from him. Really the plot was amazing , characters awesome clarity was good but i felt somewhere little rush in the happenings and somewhere it is lingered litle extra. then coming to what I felt. Honestly, Extremely Poor editing. you can simply get a dozens of errors within first 2/3 pages. Then through out the book it keeps on increasing and Use of complex words where the easy words could have rocked. Somewhere wrong punctuation use. These can visibly discourage an efficient reader.
So I deeply request Rishiraj to publish an edited and revised version of the book. It will surely rock more.
Thank you!
Niharika.

I got the review copy of this book a few months back and couldn't read it then due to various reasons. Now getting back to the book. The story was mature and emotional. The character building was balanced. Better editing and a bit less of exaggeration may have done more justice to the story line. So I give it 3 stars just for being a mature and emotional story and a good narration.

The book had not gone through proper editing. Missing of punctuation marks is the major issue with the story. The narration too is half baked. The story fumbles between past and present many a times irking a reader like me. One star for the readable plot and a good love story. An average attempt at writing the book.
