The Need: Breaking the Girl

Rate this book
Some people are born with a hunger that can’t be sated; with a hole in their heart that can never be filled. Such people are said to have ‘the hunger’ and are sought out and coveted by a powerful vampiric cult known only as The Masters.

Taylor, a young cold-hearted girl born into no advantages save for the body of a goddess and the face of an angel has the hunger – She has it bad.
By the tender age of nineteen she’s already living life in the fast lane. Striping at the city’s most prestigious club and being handsomely paid for the pleasure. But the money, the power, the thrill of it all is never enough. She is a force of nature that above all else yearns to be controlled. That’s when The Master’s find her.

Taylor makes a pact with the devil and signs a contract with The Masters essentially agreeing to become their slave for life in return for protection and a luxurious allowance.

At first the dark and racy lifestyle as a slave to a vampire coven is exciting and filled with pleasure. However she soon learns that to serve The Masters she must give them more than her body and her blood. She must relinquish her love, and everything inside of her that makes her human.
When Taylor forms a reluctant friendship with Samantha, the bookish new slave girl, she is put to the most difficult test of her life: To close the doors to her human heart and become a creature of the night or hold on to her humanity and what little love she has left in the world.

This book was excellent! Gory, gross, erotic and enticing.
A young girl who stands out from the crowd has no idea why, until she meets a group of strange individuals.
This book is emotional, suspenseful, disturbing, arousing, and riveting. All in all, I really enjoyed it!
Great character work as you really feel attached to the protagonist in a love-hate relationship as she makes stupid choices but you sort of understand her motives.

She Doesn't Like Herself

This is a story about a young lady who allows herself to be disrespected both physically and mentally. She gets involved in some kind of a sex cult of vampires who use her for more than her blood. If you enjoy a lot of blood and gore, this is a interesting well done read.

A very good erotic-horror book with well done sex and good story line. Very graphic, positively dripping in some scenes so be warned, but otherwise a well written book and an excellent start to a new series. Would I share it with my girlfriend? Parts of it, I think some of it is a bit much for her but several scenes could be read aloud to someone too squeamish for the bloody parts.
